    Coconut ice cream

Truly a hole in a wall location that many people frequent! Seats filled up fast for dinner. We ordered quite a bit from the menu: Chicken tom yum, shrimp wonton soup, kanom jeeb, soft shell crab with chili basil sauce, and coconut ice cream. If you are to get anything at all from here, make sure you get the coconut ice cream because it was so good. So creamy and with coconut bits. Service was also nice, our servers were so attentive.

Came Back again, we were the first ones here so it was relatively quiet. Wonderful food and that came out reflectively fast when we ordered. I absolutely adore the place. Thank you so much you guys!

I came here for lunch with a friend who visits the restaurant frequently. As soon as we stepped in, the owner was very welcoming and made all the customers feel special and satisfied. I ordered the fried rice with chicken. It was extremely delicious, I couldn't stop eating! My friends also were happy with their food selections as well. The portions are generous and decently priced considering the area. This is located in the back across from Qdoba. There is some outdoor seating shared by other businesses, but not outdoor service exclusive to this restaurant. Would I return? Absolutely.

Plenty of parking around the giant plaza. The restaurant itself is fairly small with limited indoor seats. The restaurant offers a good selection of Thai food, beer, and hard liquor. There was no draft beer tho. The service was good. The food was served within timely manner. The padsew and pad Thai were missing basil the. Nonetheless. They were still tasty. I ordered a papaya salad, and it was very legit with jumbo sized shrimps. The price was very attractive. Some of the plates had lunch/dinner pricing. The check out process was very simple, and they also accept contact less credit card payment via smartphone. Overall, the food was very enjoyable. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Such unassuming Thai resto, building facade is just regular, only a few tables, nothing fancy. BUT, man oh man! The food was excellent by far amongst the rosters of Thai restos we have tried in NoVa. The crispy duck has so much umami! The beef salad was cooked to perfection. My son ordered the Kaprow and it was insanely good! I would drive up there if I am in the mood for Thai food, welp so near my son's place so yes will always opt for their food. Also, the service was top notch!

The food here is ALWAYS very good. Some of the best Thai I have ever had and a great staff to go along with great food

We went back after a while and enjoyed the good food and the fast & friendly service. One request I will make to management here is to keep the music down just a little bit, this time when we visited they were blasting Christmas music and we were having a hard time having our conversations over the loud music .

This place is not easy to find, tucked away behind a strip mall close to Harris Teeter. The restaurant itself is small and modestly setup. Definitely OK to eat in, but there were a lot of customers picking up take out food. I have been here a few times and would say it is the best Thai restaurant in Ashburn by a mile. It does not have the location or decor of the more well known places, but it makes up for it with friendly staff and timely, flavourful food. My wife had drunken noodles with chicken and it came out in 5 minutes, hot and with freshly made noodles. Fantastic flavour. I ordered the Gai Sapp Ka-pow - Thai Hot (as usual) and it was served with jasmine rice. Fantastic flavours from both dishes. Oh and they serve a scoop of yummy cococut ice cream as a free dessert. We will be back again soon.

Walked in when they first opened and I was the first customer there. The service was really nice. They greeted and asked me through all my meal if I needed anything else and how the food was. I got a Thai tea which was fine. It just tasted like the generic Thai tea. I got the pad Thai and pannag curry lunch special that came with a side of vegetable dumplings for only $15. The pad Thai was slightly sweet for my taste, but the pannag curry was perfect slightly spicy, and the coconut flavor was strong. Overall it's an amazing deal for what you get. The storm might be hard to find as is in between the two buildings, but it was a small and cute cozy store.

Service was great. The space is quite small but there was plenty of seating at 1pm. We had the Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Pad Sew with fried calamari app. Very delicious. The pad Thai was saucier than I'm used to but still delicious! The table next to us ordered chicken Thai curry and it smelled amazing - hoping to try that next time.

I would say that Sense of Thai St. has become a neighborhood staple and stands strong among the other great Thai places in the area. Definitely has improved and remained steady over the years. The service is always top-notch, and the bar with limited kitchen options stays open late as one of the only late-night options in that immediate area, which is nice after a big gym session in the evenings. I still think the prices are a little hard to swallow for the portion sizes in terms of how much actual protein you get with any one dish. But it's undeniable how perfectly balanced the flavors and spices are, and the menu is always evolving with a very wide range of Asian fusion and traditional Thai dishes. I have a TOUGH time figuring out what to order because every creation sounds so amazing! I recently got the beef noodle Thai ramen with the five-spice egg added (see photo), and it was really good. The five-spice egg is a must try, bursting with a rainbow of flavors and accenting any dish.

A good starter. Liked most of the appetizer except for the wings. They are a bit too sweet for me. For entrees, we got a whole fried fish. The branzino was a good size and perfectly fried. We were trying to find pictures of Siam chicken and unable to find any. It is more like orange chicken to be honest. It was decent. Final dish was chicken pad Thai and that was good. Their pad Thai is always delicious. Overall the food was good but the service was spotty. Had to ask for water refill even though the waiter walked by and can see the almost empty glasses. We were there later in the evening so it was not really busy.

We normally call our order in, but decided to try the online ordering system since we were out and it was noisy. Once we got to the website, we saw some coupons had popped up but it wouldn't allow us to apply to the order. We thought the coupons might've been a mistake, but we decided to bring it in to the store to show them and ask if they were valid. And if not, we were prepared to order regardless and just wanted to make sure the restaurant knew these were showing up on their website. The man behind the counter met him with such an incredibly bad attitude and was angry at my husband for even showing it to him. He basically accused my husband of forging these coupons or finding them somewhere else- when they are posted right on their website. His attitude was so incredibly off putting that we decided to get lunch elsewhere today. Maybe he was having a bad day, who knows. But all my husband did was go in to ask the question and tried to make the restaurant aware that it was on their own website. Unsure if we will be back here, there are so many Thai food options around.

I'm not a vegetarian and absolutely LOVE the spicy eggplant dish! Pad Thai is really pretty good too - not my #1 favorite, but in the top 5 in the area. If you get the shrimp option, they are large. I like that you can add extra proteins to the pad thai (and other dishes). The tom kha soup was awesome and the amount of chicken is plentiful. I really enjoy adding a bit of rice to it and it was great as a leftover the next day. I'd also recommend the drunken noodles.
