This is a favorite! Their vermicelli is ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE and SOOO delicious! I can confidently say that dish is my top favorite. Pho Vietfresh is still one of my family's go-to's after many years. Their food really does seem fresh and their portions are HUGE. I like to order their grilled pork chop or the bun bo hue. Whenever I save the bun bo hue for the next day in the fridge, the broth turns super gelatinous - that's how you know it's legit and full of nutritious collagen! Banh mi: flavorful, tender meat but not a lot of it. Lettuce, etc. was very fresh. It was described as being made with pork paté but it there was any, it was so little as to seem nonexistent. DD enjoyed the bread but agreed, not enough meat. Spring rolls: fresh ingredients but tasteless. There were shrimp in it, but they had zero flavor. The peanut sauce was good but not enough to compensate. DGD really enjoyed her pho and ate about half of it. I can't believe I haven't made a review yet for pho viet fresh! they are our go to pho spot in the Reston area. whenever we have a craving, we always order from this place - however, when we realized that they also offered banh beo, that started becoming a consistent order of ours as well. We really enjoy the way they prepare it here. I have tried it at other Vietnamese restaurants and this place has really generous servings. I also recently realized they have banh xeo on the menu and was able to order it the last time we dined in it was so crispy and the portion size was huge. it was delicious :-) They were able to seat us on a busy night with no reservation, and we did not have to wait very long at all. Our server was very funny and joked around with us, but also very attentive and prompt in bringing things over. There is a lot of seating in general and it is nice they have a lot of indoor plants. Would give 6 stars if I could . Called in for carry out since we were in transit to our hotel In Reston after a long drive from Virginia Beach. Ordered goi cuon (fresh spring rolls) and two orders of Bun Bo Hue (one with pig knuckles). When I went inside to pick up my order, ambiance is great, well lit and clean. Service was great too since they mistakenly gave me pig's blood and no pig knuckles. So they immediately told me to wait a few. When I stepped out and came back, they gave me the extra pig knuckles. No fuss, no extra charge - that is great service! The to go packaging is wonderful and well thought out where the dry ingredients are in deep paper bowls (think ramen bowls), very fresh veggies packed separately and broth piping hot. Parking: this is located in Franklin farm shopping center, so there are tons of parking. Don't worry about parking! Seating: there are like 12 tables, so there seating. It's not super huge, nor is it a small restaurant. When we walked in, the server told us to just pick a table. Food: it's pho! It was a little oiler than my other go-to pho restaurant. I'm not a huge fan of oily food, so it was something that I did not really like. In the pho, you could see a oil in the soup. Price: it was quite pricey compared to other pho restaurants. The fried rice was pretty expensive & the pho noodles were very expensive, especially if you want a large. Service: the male server was very kind and attentive. I found this place near my friend's house. The place was really clean and staff welcome you right away and it was empty which is nice, we didn't have to wait. Unfortunately, they were rushing to take our order. Food: I got Grilled Pork, very tasty and filling. Shrimp rolls, they were big fair with the price. My friend got Shaking Beef, he love it the most. My family and I order here at least once a month, and have never been disappointed when we order here. We like to order the pho, chicken vermicelli bowl, and banmi sandwich, which are all very delicious. Their chicken is delicious and well-seasoned, the pho portions are generous, and the banmi is unique with eggs also incorporated into the sandwich (it's really good!). Like I mentioned earlier, they do not cheap out on the food and are very generous with the food portions. There is plenty of indoor seating and a large parking structure. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food they give. Service has always been great. We tend to do take-out, and our food is always packaged nicely and ready to go. This is currently our go to place for Vietnamese food. Conveniently located inside the Franklin Farm shopping center, their food has hit the quality and quantity mark for us. The portion sizes are great. If the food tastes good, and I can feed my family during such times for less, it's a win win in my book. My favorite item on their menu is the banh xeo - crispy crepe filled with pork, shrimp, and bean sprouts, wrapped in lettuce and dipped in their fish sauce vinaigrette. They use pork belly here and that extra fattiness adds good flavor. They've taken the shrimp shells off lately which my husband appreciates. I personally like this dish with or without the shells. The crepe was somewhat soggy once (perhaps it was an off day) but otherwise, this dish is usually pretty good here. Our kids order their pho was brisket, tripe, and meatballs and it's all smiles with full bellies. The broth is good, the meat is good, and no complaints. My husband gets their banh beo - savory steamed rice cakes. Not the best version of this dish but still good and this place is a lot closer to home for us compare to Eden Center. Service is good.
