This place has been a staple! The portion sizes are huge. My favorites are the summer rolls, fried rice (reminds me of my mom's!), vermicelli/rice bowls, and occasionally the Bun Bo Hue! We usually order takeout. Really great bang for your buck.

Went in today to get some pho for my daughter who had tonsils removed this week and was craving pho. She eats it more than I do. So when I walked in, I asked the young man at the counter for advice given the situation and her limitations for food right now. He was very helpful and kind and wished her a quick recovery! Portion size was huge and she said it's the best thing she's had since surgery!

Probably the best Banh Xeo I've ever had! Family loves the Pho--among the best Pho if not THE best pho they've had Pickiest eater (who does not like Asian food) loved the grilled pork! Also loved the viet coffee Beautiful, delicious, flavorful food. With fresh veggies Generous portions. Kind and friendly staff. Quick service. 10/5! Eat here!!! Highly recommend We are from out of town but made it a point to stop at this restaurant.

This is a favorite! Their vermicelli is ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE and SOOO delicious! I can confidently say that dish is my top favorite. Their pho is also so delicious but I tend to crave their rice vermicelli. I'd also had their boba drinks which are great as well. The seating is spacious and you can almost always guarantee quick seating.

One the best Vietnamese food in the area. Great price and great food! We keep coming back to this place..

The vegan broth is one of the best VG broths I've ever tasted! I like how you can get the broth in two different sizes-- regular or large. Service was quick for being so crowded. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. We will be back!

    Bun Bo Hue
    Rachel K.

This was my first time trying bun Bo hue so I have nothing to compare it to but it was so delicious! I usually stick to pho but decided to branch out :) The broth was a little spicy and the noodles were thicker & rounded than pho noodles. I would definitely get this again and would live to come back and try their other menu items

We used to live near this restaurant, and omg I miss it so much. I love their bun Bo hue, Bo luc lac with noodles, and broken rice with pork chops. Their menu is small, and I think that is pretty smart because they can focus and perfect their dishes. I also appreciate how big their portions are. The bun Bo hue portion is perfect for two, they give you so much, and I really miss ordering from here. I'm also a big coffee person, I love caphe sua da. However, I'm not a big fan of their caphe. It used to taste okay, but not anymore.

Standard, nicely made pho. It's a small and comfortable place to eat. Plenty of parking if you want to do grocery shopping at Giant as well or play video games. Service was okay. Can't go wrong picking this spot if you're craving a bowl.

Really good, really creamy avocado smoothie. Literally just ordered this for pickup but there's not many places that serve this drink in the area so I figured I'd try it. Don't regret it :-) will definitely come back to try more bubble tea here. Their banh mi sandwich and pho are really good along with their taro boba (not pictured but previously ordered).

Really great Pho and amazing crispy spring rolls! I normally order delivery but today decided to eat and it was even better than normal. Service was amazing, food was fresh and quick to come out, vibes were great. Would definitely recommend you check it out if you're looking for a good bowl of pho!

Food is okay. Nothing special. Clean. Service is always slow. Been here twice once close to when they first opened and last week. Lots of meat in the pho thai though.

What I enjoyed about Yo more than a place like Dumpling District (very similar in menu) was the quality and vibes of the service and atmosphere. The servers were very helpful to explain the dishes to my family members who needed some help. The food hit! The Spicy dry noodles are definitely what drew me to come here and they did not disappoint. My kids loved the pork chops. The seafood soup was loaded! The flavors were exceptional. For example, the Panfried Pork Bun used to be my favorite item here but they've changed the recipe significantly. The pork filling used to be a lot larger and juicier...but now when you break open the bun, the filling is so small that half of the bun doesn't even have any meat. 80% of the bun is just dough and it's not fried well and quite greasy. Everything overall was way too greasy, including the crueller and the dry noodles were swimming in oil. I did like the texture of the noodles, but unfortunately it was overshadowed by the oiliness of the broth it was sitting in. It's really sad to see this place fall short since it opened a couple years ago. I'm hoping that they can improve their quality of food as it's really gone downhill since opening.

Our waiter did a great job presenting our drinks and pouring the matcha lemonade. He made thoughtful recommendations and was very funny too. The food also was high quality and moderately priced. The miso eggplant was a nice sized appetizer for sharing and was seasoned nicely. The chicken ramen was also the perfect amount of spicy, had a good ratio of noodles to broth to vegetables, and was presented well. The dishes paired well with the matcha lemonade, which was aesthetically presented, had a subtle sweet lychee flavor, and was perfectly balanced. I was here twice over the last two months. The first time, I ordered off the regular menu. The second time, I did the AYCE dim sum/tapas. Obviously, ordering a la carte, you'll get larger portions. It was all fantastic. The server was attentive and friendly. Dishes came out lightning fast. And the food itself was stellar! I'll let the photos speak for themselves. You can't go wrong here, especially if you're getting one of the AYCE specials (there's a similar one at Mama Chang's). I want to note though, three of the dishes have the same flavor profile, just different main ingredients: spicy dry fish, spicy dry cauliflower, and dry fried spicy eggplant. They use dry fried red chili and ground Szechuan peppercorn. If you like this, great! Just know it's the same seasoning across these dishes. I didn't take photos of everything, but if it's braised pork xxxx, get it! I will gladly return to this location or Mama Chang's for another AYCE adventure.

However, despite its name, I didn't find the dish spicy at all. I also felt it could've used more seasoning, as the flavors were milder than I expected. - Cumin Spicy Diced Lamb ($13): This was my favorite dish. The lamb was tender, the cumin flavor really stood out, and it actually had the level of spice I was hoping for. - Vegan Szechuan Cold Noodles ($7): I've had this dish at other restaurants and usually love it, but this version was disappointing. It arrived warm instead of cold, so I refrigerated it overnight. By the next day, the noodles had become too firm, and the Szechuan flavors were very subtle. This may just be one of those dishes that's better enjoyed fresh in the restaurant rather than delivered. One thing to note is that rice isn't included with the entrées. I forgot to add rice to my order, but the restaurant kindly included some anyway, which I really appreciated.

So, when I moved to NOVA, I was excited to find a similar restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, Kindi Chicken Rice isn't quite as good but it's still pretty decent. The ginger-garlic rice doesn't have enough garlic flavor and was a little dry. Also, I didn't like the ratio of chicken to rice; there was only six pieces of chicken for all the rice that was given. Lastly, the daikon soup had the classic peppery taste but lacked salt/umami flavor. But I did like that the daikon was sliced whereas the daikon in the Cily Chicken Rice soup is just one hunk of daikon.

Nothing exceptional but good quality, good food And a fair amount of steak in mine for $16. I wish I could say the same about the service or lack there of provided by the two young female servers. For starters, they have zero communication skills. They drop things at the table and just stand there without a word. I did not receive the Vietnamese coffee that I ordered until I asked for it nor was I asked whether or not I wanted it with whipped cream - there's was no description on the menu so I wasn't aware it came with whipped cream. When we placed our order we asked for extra cilantro and received no cilantro at all. Once the runner delivered our food no one came over to ask how everything had turned out, if we needed anything else etc. The lack of communication, lack of attention to detail and quite frankly complete lack of personality turned a pleasant afternoon meal into a disappointment.
