If this place is always this busy, it's for a good reason. I've been defeated by the weekend crowds at this restaurant too many times! But a Monday morning visit proved the hype is real. Even though it was busy, we were seated within 15 minutes The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The whole place was spotlessly clean as the staff would ensure to clean tables immediately clients left. The food was truly fresh and delicious. Considering the quality, the prices are fantastic and totally worth the wait. They also offer carry out in case you don't want to dine in. Can't wait to go back!

Came for breakfast and I ordered the country fried steak($13). The eggs were cooked to over medium and the potatoes were crispy. The country fried steak had a nice and savory gravy to it. The dinner had a really good breakfast vibes and ended up getting much busier as I left. For a spot in Nova, I was quite surprised that the prices were actually cheaper compared to other spots in the area. Definitely a great brunch and dinner spot to check out!! Food(50%): 8.2 Staff/service(25%): 7.5 Value(25%): 9.0 Overall: 8.2/10

Another great meal!!! We make a tradition every year to visit Joe's. We come to the DC area and with all the choices, Joe's is our favorite for breakfast!!! The service is always excellent , the food is delicious and dependable! We've been coming to Joes for 5 years now and although it's a 5 hour drive it's worth it! We typically get the same thing I get the Nora breakfast and my husband will get an omelette of some kind . This last time he got the Greek and he loved it ! If you want good food , good service at a great price go see Joe !!!

Sausage links, eggs, French toast with bananas.

Stopped here yesterday, for the first time, for breakfast. Everyone was so welcoming and sweet. I ordered French toast with bananas, sausage links, and scrambled eggs. I enjoyed them all, and thought the portions were very generous. My only critique would be to serve warm syrup instead of the square packaged syrup. The coffee was very good as well. My SO thought his waffle was tasty. I think they only serve breakfast and lunch. The restaurant feels like a neighborhood coffee shop. Lots of local touches in the decor. There was plenty of parking in the shopping center. We plan to return next time we are in the area b

I've been here a couple of times. Both times I went here, I went at not peak eating times. It was busy both times. When I walked in the (what I assume to be) owner kind of harshly asked how many in my group. The inside and menu reminded me of an old timey diner. I like the open kitchen so if you have a close enough seat you can see them cooking your food. I love me a good breakfast. I am also a sucker for a really good eggs Benedict. So the first time I went here I tried it. I was disappointed with the eggs bene. The sauce was just not good. I also ordered a pancake, instead of the potato side, and was not a fan. The pancake mix obviously has cinnamon in it and I'm not a big cinnamon fan. If you like cinnamon you'll like the pancakes for sure. It's just not my thing. The second time I went here I ordered an omelet with no substitutions. It was actually really good. I guess next time I'll stick to the more plain items. The service can get slow at times. Both times I was here I had to wait quite a while to get a refill on both coffee and water. I guess this should be expected though because of the volume of customers. One of the best breakfast places I've ever been to would have someone walk around with a coffee pot and pitcher of water like every 5 minutes. With that said, the food came out pretty quick both times I was here. Terminator style, I'll be back. Pros: Ambiance. Order time to food delivery. Food taste on basic foods. Cons: Wait for a seat. Wait for a drink refill. Food taste on select foods.

Nothing fancy to see here, but the food was amazing and the service was even better. Thank you to this place for serving up some fantastic breakfast with a smile. The place is nothing fancy, but it doesn't matter. You have a place to sit with great food. Be aware, it's popular so I had a 15 minute wait on Saturday morning. The owner's nephew is the host and he will make sure you're seated quickly. Great guy.

Grits

We had brunch there on 2/16/2025. It was very busy so we sat at the counter, not that we minded. My wife had sausage gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs, grits. Eggs cooked perfectly, biscuits were tasty, not the best biscuits we've had but not the worst. The sausage gravy was delicious, well seasoned. Grits were well cooked, creamy, very tasty. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and a pancake on the side. The salsa was tasty but needed more heat in my opinion. A nice size breakfast burrito for a reasonable price. My only negative comment is that the eggs could have used a little salt. The pancake was delicious. I will definitely go back. I loved it.

Service is top notched, wait staff friendly and cordial, quick on their feet. Atmosphere is laid back and community friendly. Rami the owner is an absolute delight to meet, first time here at Joe's (Rami's uncle) Cafe. You can tell this place that opened in 2019, offers what others come back time and time again - long line of wait at 9:30am on a Saturday. Rami makes sure that he calls his customers by name, engages them while waiting. Now how's the food? Definitely everything is delicious! I ordered steak and cheese omelet which comes with choice of toast and grits or home fries or hash browns. Very reasonably priced for the portions. Thanks Rami for a wonderful breakfast experience from a former Herndon resident dropping by to visit my old haunt!

She did a phenomenal job overseeing our whole group by herself. The food was good. I love a good southern comfort meal. But I'd be lying that I wasn't a little disappointed they didn't have chicken and waffles. They do have chicken and biscuits which looked good. But I was craving that delicious crispy meat over a savory waffle. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. Not a single person complained. If anything, they said how much food they got! When in the area again, will take a stop here to enjoy their food again!

GOOD FOOD, RUDE SERVICE: I recently visited Milk and Honey and had a mixed experience…read more The smothered chicken and biscuits entree was very good. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Southern style dish in Charleston SC. Rich, comforting, and well executed. The crispy calamari appetizer was disappointing. Most of the pieces were tiny, which made them too small to dip into the sauce. It was also too salty. Cutting the salt by about 33% would help a lot. The worst part was the service. There was a long gap between our appetizer and entrees, and I could see our food sitting under the heat lamps for a long time. When our server Soledad passed by, I told her I noticed our entrees were ready and asked if we could get them. She seemed annoyed and told me I had to wait my turn because they execute tickets in order. The kitchen talent is clearly good, but they need to train their servers to have more grace under pressure. Overall, not worth coming again when there are so many great dining options in the area.

Side note: don't go here thinking you're about to get some traditional Filipino dishes. Come with an open mind and an empty tummy! You'll be pleasantly surprised. The space is spotless, easy on the eyes, and perfectly cozy - minimalist décor with just enough charm to make you want to stay awhile. There's plenty of seating for the whole fam (yes, even all your titos and titas). Only one kind gentleman was running the show during my visit, and let me tell you - he handled everything like a pro. Even with our big order, everything came out quickly and with a smile. Bonus points for the snacks, ready-to-eat treats, and vending machines to hold you over while you wait. But honestly, the food is worth every second. Now let's talk about some of the eats: * Ube waffle: light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet - the powdered sugar and ube syrup complemented the flavor instead of stealing the spotlight. The chicken tenders were well-seasoned and paired well with the waffle. Whole plate was aesthetically pleasing and delish! * Lumpia: absolute fire. My only regret? Not ordering a mountain of them. * Longanisa breakfast sandwich: solid and yummy, but I wouldn't write my lola about it. Egg cooked to perfection though! * Silog breakfast bowl: oh. my. GAWD. Flavor bomb! The garlic fried rice, tender pork, egg, and peppers all danced together like they were meant to be. I'd come back just for that bowl - and the lumpia, of course.
