    Lopro lamb burger

Ambiance: Rustic and cozy. This place gets really loud. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. Despite that the service was quick. Food: loaded labneh was the perfect start, tasted fresh and flavorful, and the bread was yummy. Gemelli Ala vodka tasted good, not amazing. Lo pro lamb burger really hit the spot. I would say this was the best dish for us. Parking: There is ample parking right outside the restaurant

For a saturday lunch, the lunch rush was no joke. We got reservation for 1pm and were seated quickly. Restaurant has a rustic charm, a relatively open bar and kitchen. If you ordered their bread basket, bread came out right away, though maybe the butter serving could've been more. It took some time for our actual orders to come through, but considering that we went during the lunch rush, understandable Rigatoni Bolognese - Good, sauce and beef bits were good, with a tang of saltiness! Noodles quite soft, slightly to the point of soggy, but still had a good texture. Would maybe recommend adding protein if you want something more filling Gemelli Ala Vodka - I did prefer this one more! Love a classic vodka pasta, but was not a fan of the noodles Also had Lopro Crush, which was basically orange juice, vodka, and soda. This one was good! Literally just tasted like orange juice

My friend and I ordered through Toast and the food was amazing! He ordered the beef dish and I ordered the chicken dish. It also came with some delicious naan! It also came with grilled vegetables which were also very delicious! We also had the tomatoes and cucumbers, which was so refreshing!! We also ordered baklava and it was very, very delicious as well and a nice ending to our meal!! The service was very quick! We will definitely be ordering from here again!!

The Ambiance is very nice here. It has a French feel to it, the atmosphere is welcoming. The service was a little slow the day we visited, but it might have been the start of shift and everyone getting organized. I enjoyed the pasta. It tasted fresh and delicious. Everything on the menu looked great. If I'm ever in the area, I would come visit again. Great to celebrate and dress up or just for casual dinning as well.

Local Provisions was such a lovely restaurant and very chic. Our server was very nice and attentive, and he answered all our questions! We went during lunch/brunch and ordered a cinnamon roll and the loaded labneh dip to start. They were both amazing, and the cinnamon roll was to die for! Their bread in the loaded labneh was freshly baked and steaming. To eat with ordered the gemelli ala vodka, the rigatoni bolognese, and the grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious! Everything we ordered we would eat again, but we definitely want to eat the rest of the menu and come for dinner. For dessert, we got their olive oil cake and a blueberry crumble soft serve. Their soft serves was some of the best around! It was so delicious and creamy and the cake wasn't too sweet. Since Local Provisions has a seasonal menu we'll definitely be back to try more dishes. Top restaurant in Sterling for us!

First time here. Went on a Monday night and got a table at 6 pm with no wait. Our server was great. We got the labneh appetizer and another bread. Both were delicious! I definitely recommend the Labneh. The bread was very good too. I got the rigatoni with bolognese sauce. It was tasty! I also recommend it! My friends got the osso bucco and the branzino. They both liked their dinners. The metal chairs are a little uncomfortable after a while but I guess it keeps the people from camping out at their tables for too long (LoL). I would definitely return here next time I am in town.

I had the Grilled Branzino Piccata filet on a bed of cannellini beans, spinach and capers with a lemon forward sauce that bursts with flavor. It was simple and elegant. I couldn't get enough of the sauce and the fish just melted in my mouth. We finished off by splitting a Blueberry Crumble Soft Serve Vanilla and Cream Cheese Ice Cream. Very yummy.

Local Provisions is such a great addition to Cascades Plaza. This modern and upscale restaurant features delicious pastas and fresh entrees. It has become my boyfriend and my go-to spot since the menu changes often, so there are always new items to try. My favorite is their signature Bolognese pasta, which thankfully stays on the menu year-round. The food always tastes fresh and made to order. As someone who lives for pasta, I can say their noodles are perfectly al dente, never overly sauced, and always full of flavor. The service is consistently pleasant. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Food usually comes out pretty quickly too. I recommend making a reservation, as the place is often full and even busier on weekends. But it is definitely worth it and a must-try if you're in the area.

A generous 3.5 star review. It was good enough to try again but some things just felt just short of great. We were presented with a farm to table speech and the service and decor were great. The Brussels sprouts immediately tasted frozen or maybe they were boiled. The texture was on the mushy side. The accompaniments made it taste bareable. Felt like if they were fresh Brussels they would had a better foundation for the extra flavors. My lamb burger needed a little basic flavor. (Salt and pepper) but again the additions made it bareable. Overall I enjoyed my food and I think some small changes would have made the experience AMAZING.

This is not a restaurant you walk in, please make a reservation before you go. I really Liked the cucumber mocktail. Probably my favorite part. I ordered the cauliflower as an appetizer but it's not meant for more than one person, but the pomegranate seeds were a nice touch. You will have to get multiple for a table. For the entree, I ordered the bolognese, the pasta felt like it needed to be cooked a bit more but the sauce and cheese in the middle was scrumptious.

I visited Local Provisions for dinner on a Tuesday night with a friend. By the time we left, every table was full and people kept arriving. As crazy as it seems to get a reservation for a restaurant in Sterling on a Tuesday night, I would recommend one. We ordered Aperol spritz, Brussel sprouts and the sausage pasta. The ambiance was elegant, the service was top notch and the food was well prepared. I would recommend checking them out.

We went for brunch after hearing only good things about this place. They do accommodate kids and have high chairs- a plus for us! The ambiance is nice, very cozy but roomy. The staff is so friendly and helpful in describing dishes and recommending their favorites. We were able to customize some dishes too, which was nice. The food is farm to table but SOO GOOD you'll clean your plate! We tried the Yellowtail Crudo and the Fritto Misto. The Fritto Misto is something you HAVE to get if you enjoy calamari. The calamari is not chewy and the aioli is so unique and pairs perfectly. The Yellowtail is a bit pricey for the amount of pieces you get, but it's quite refreshing with the fresh cucumber slices. For the entrees we ordered the lamb burger and the French Omlette. Both dishes were so balanced and delicious we cleaned our plates. The Lamb Burger wasn't your average Lamb patty. It was a nice size, flavorful and juicy. The French Omlette was light and fluffy and it paired great with the fresh lump crab meat! As a Marylander, this is the freshest crab meat I've had in VA. We tried a few of their drinks and all were exceptional. I'm not sure who the bartender is but kudos to you for making tasty and unique drinks that are well balanced and not overly sweet, strong, and sugary!

If a tasty and casual place is what's you're looking for, then this is the place. Went here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was a little busy, so I'd recommend a reservation. Once seated, I had a house margarita which was delicious. Andrea was our server and she was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time here so she recommended the chicken cooked under a brick and described it perfectly. The chicken had a perfect sear on the outside and was so moist and juicy inside. Would highly recommend this dish. Would definitely come back here. The atmosphere is casual, but it also has a high end feel.

Lasagna Soup - $9, was pretty good.

The restaurant ambience and decor even gave us fond memories of restaurants visited on our 2023 trip to Paris. The tuna tartare as a shared appetizer was delicious, as were our entrees - Trout Almondine and Duck Confit. The hardest decision of the night was actually dessert, which we would normally skip, but being our anniversary and first time at the Brasserie Royale, we indulged. The "British" (in a French restaurant?) seasonal offering of Sticky Pudding was too tempting not to try. It was excellent. The service and wine selections were equally enjoyable. It was busy on a Monday evening, so reservations are recommended. Our table for two was nestled between other small tables and it was interesting to both see and get reviews of other dishes. Overheard from the table to our right were criticisms of the squash ravioli and garlic sausage entrees. However, the table to our left was effusive about the creme brulee. We will be back. While it was busy, it wasn't absolutely slammed. Our server took five minutes to initially greet us-not a massive deal. However, when we went to order, she was unsure of what we wanted. She was clearly new because she asked for us to point on the menu with what we would like. Again, not a big deal. We sat for about 25 minutes and then she told us "it will be out any minute." About 10 more minutes passed and it came out. A 35 minute ticket time for med-rare steak and a croque madam is unacceptable. In addition, she forgot to ring up a side we asked for, which took another 7-8 minutes (even though she told us it would be out in an unrealistic 2 minutes). This experience overall was really underwhelming and a disappointment to a kid-free date with my wife. The actual food was good, per usual. While we will try Brasserie again, it was a massive shame.

My older daughter enjoyed the Salmon en Croute. The salmon was perfectly cooked to the correct temp and the pastry was spot on. A lovely dish and one I will try on our next visit. My wife and I each devoured the Chicken Paillard. This is one of those dishes that is so simple, but the lemon butter knocks your socks off. If it wasn't such a lovely restaurant, I might have licked my plate. Yes....it was that good. I ate every last caper! For dessert, we shared a portion of the luxurious pistachio cheesecake. An excellent ending to an amazing meal. This charming restaurant is a jewel in the heart of Herndon. I highly recommend it for your next special occasion. We look forward to returning soon!

People who sat next to the box changed their table, we were the 2nd table close to it , but there was no place to move and was impossible to talk and hear each other. Me personally , I can't understand why the music needs to be so loud ( as it's not a club, nobody is dancing, people smoking hookah and talking ‍) My watch went crazy with notifications of too loud environment and I called the waiter/barmen( same lady) and asked if it's possible to turn the music a little bit down, but they said NO and proposed to move to the bar where it's just same loud . Then, we moved ourselves our drinks and hookah out of the main room at the small table just at the entrance because I got tired of yelling every time I wanted to say something. There is only one separate room (with the door) at the entrance where music is not that loud, but it was busy by a bigger group.
