    Family salmon pack

Had delivery via toast. The pack came in foil tray which made it easier to heat up since it came in bit cold. The food tasted great though.

A beautiful cozy spot to catch up with friends. I appreciated that they had a smaller menu to choose from and I chose their Spinach Fettucine. My friends and I got different dishes and all enjoyed trying each others'! The Fritto Misto is a must order! Our party ordered 3 different pastas and we all agreed that the Ala Vodka was the best one. I also really liked that we could pay for the bill using a QR code on the receipt.

Was reminded why I love local provisions again last night. The food is always delicious (we especially love the fresh pastas) and the servers are friendly. I feel like I also see less and less soft serve available and it's such a nice sweet treat to end the meal. We also got salad(very fresh and bright) and the rockfish special (which was consumed before I got a picture). We keep coming back here for good food in a casual setting. Fridays and saturdays are busy, so book a reservation.

Ambiance: Rustic and cozy. This place gets really loud. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. Despite that the service was quick. Food: loaded labneh was the perfect start, tasted fresh and flavorful, and the bread was yummy. Gemelli Ala vodka tasted good, not amazing. Lo pro lamb burger really hit the spot. I would say this was the best dish for us. Parking: There is ample parking right outside the restaurant

For a saturday lunch, the lunch rush was no joke. We got reservation for 1pm and were seated quickly. Restaurant has a rustic charm, a relatively open bar and kitchen. If you ordered their bread basket, bread came out right away, though maybe the butter serving could've been more. It took some time for our actual orders to come through, but considering that we went during the lunch rush, understandable Rigatoni Bolognese - Good, sauce and beef bits were good, with a tang of saltiness! Noodles quite soft, slightly to the point of soggy, but still had a good texture. Would maybe recommend adding protein if you want something more filling Gemelli Ala Vodka - I did prefer this one more! Love a classic vodka pasta, but was not a fan of the noodles Also had Lopro Crush, which was basically orange juice, vodka, and soda. This one was good! Literally just tasted like orange juice

Local Provisions was such a lovely restaurant and very chic. Our server was very nice and attentive, and he answered all our questions! We went during lunch/brunch and ordered a cinnamon roll and the loaded labneh dip to start. They were both amazing, and the cinnamon roll was to die for! Their bread in the loaded labneh was freshly baked and steaming. To eat with ordered the gemelli ala vodka, the rigatoni bolognese, and the grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious! Everything we ordered we would eat again, but we definitely want to eat the rest of the menu and come for dinner. For dessert, we got their olive oil cake and a blueberry crumble soft serve. Their soft serves was some of the best around! It was so delicious and creamy and the cake wasn't too sweet. Since Local Provisions has a seasonal menu we'll definitely be back to try more dishes. Top restaurant in Sterling for us!

My friend and I ordered through Toast and the food was amazing! He ordered the beef dish and I ordered the chicken dish. It also came with some delicious naan! It also came with grilled vegetables which were also very delicious! We also had the tomatoes and cucumbers, which was so refreshing!! We also ordered baklava and it was very, very delicious as well and a nice ending to our meal!! The service was very quick! We will definitely be ordering from here again!!

I had the Grilled Branzino Piccata filet on a bed of cannellini beans, spinach and capers with a lemon forward sauce that bursts with flavor. It was simple and elegant. I couldn't get enough of the sauce and the fish just melted in my mouth. We finished off by splitting a Blueberry Crumble Soft Serve Vanilla and Cream Cheese Ice Cream. Very yummy.

Local Provisions is such a great addition to Cascades Plaza. This modern and upscale restaurant features delicious pastas and fresh entrees. It has become my boyfriend and my go-to spot since the menu changes often, so there are always new items to try. My favorite is their signature Bolognese pasta, which thankfully stays on the menu year-round. The food always tastes fresh and made to order. As someone who lives for pasta, I can say their noodles are perfectly al dente, never overly sauced, and always full of flavor. The service is consistently pleasant. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Food usually comes out pretty quickly too. I recommend making a reservation, as the place is often full and even busier on weekends. But it is definitely worth it and a must-try if you're in the area.

The Ambiance is very nice here. It has a French feel to it, the atmosphere is welcoming. The service was a little slow the day we visited, but it might have been the start of shift and everyone getting organized. I enjoyed the pasta. It tasted fresh and delicious. Everything on the menu looked great. If I'm ever in the area, I would come visit again. Great to celebrate and dress up or just for casual dinning as well.

    Labneh appetizer
    Kendall N.

First time here. Went on a Monday night and got a table at 6 pm with no wait. Our server was great. We got the labneh appetizer and another bread. Both were delicious! I definitely recommend the Labneh. The bread was very good too. I got the rigatoni with bolognese sauce. It was tasty! I also recommend it! My friends got the osso bucco and the branzino. They both liked their dinners. The metal chairs are a little uncomfortable after a while but I guess it keeps the people from camping out at their tables for too long (LoL). I would definitely return here next time I am in town.

A generous 3.5 star review. It was good enough to try again but some things just felt just short of great. We were presented with a farm to table speech and the service and decor were great. The Brussels sprouts immediately tasted frozen or maybe they were boiled. The texture was on the mushy side. The accompaniments made it taste bareable. Felt like if they were fresh Brussels they would had a better foundation for the extra flavors. My lamb burger needed a little basic flavor. (Salt and pepper) but again the additions made it bareable. Overall I enjoyed my food and I think some small changes would have made the experience AMAZING.

The food was beautifully presented and the wine pairing was superb. Definitely recommend having them pair your wines. The grilled shrimp was a great start. The sparkling rose made the shrimp taste even better. The goat cheese ravioli was probably my favorite savory dish of the evening. The sweet sage-maple syrup-tomato sauce was fantastic. The Sancerre was pleasant with it, although I thought the ravioli itself was more impressive than the pairing. I had to order bread so the sauce wouldnt go to waste. I ordered the lamb medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium, and initially it was somewhat underseasoned. After adding salt and pepper and getting some of the thyme from the plate into the bite, the lamb became significantly better and worked better with the Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The creamed spinach underneath was delicious on its own, but I didn't enjoy it with the wine. Interestingly, the absolute highlight of that wine pairing was the braised garlic. The sweet, mellow garlic and Châteauneuf-du-Pape were wonderful together. Dessert was the highlight of the entire pairing. The lavender ice cream was outstanding, the Chantilly surrounding it was light and delicious, and the strawberry sauce wasn't overly sweet. The Sauternes was excellent with the dessert, particularly with the fresh strawberry. This was the pairing where the food and wine truly made each other better. Even though I was one of the last diners of the evening, I never felt rushed. My server was very attentive and social which I love. It was very romantic and yet comfortable enough that dining alone wasnt awkward. I'd happily return.

While there are some good things about the place, which I will list first, there are some not-so-good things. The good --- When we arrived, the place wasn't busy at all. There were a few people sitting outside. The dining room was empty. Throughout our meal, we had the place to ourselves. Our server greeted us and seated us. Masha was very friendly, polite, and efficient. The dining room was decorated with artificial hanging plants. Also, there was a large mural of Eve holding the apple with the serpent coaxing her to eat it. Now for the not-so-good things --- getting to the entrance wasn't easy, especially for my husband, who is waiting to get his knee replaced. To reach the entrance, you had to walk down a paved path with descending steps after parking the car. Upon entry, we had to climb a somewhat long staircase. On the way out, Masha stated that there was a ramp and pointed to a door leading to the kitchen and said we could go out that way. We chose to exit the way we entered. Also, they don't have any printed menus -- just a QR code to scan for the menu. We found that to be off-putting. Fortunately, we had already decided what to order before coming here. We chose to start with "Zaytoun", which consists of "Mixed Pitted Olives Tossed In Extra Virgin Oil. GF". This was a tasty starter. There were a few different types of pitted olives. However, we didn't think that there was any olive oil in the small bowl; rather, it appeared to be brine. For our main course, we both chose "Beef Kofta" which consists of: "Beef rolls served with Lebanese Couscous, Refreshing Tomatoes, Cucumber, & Labneh". The beef kofta was very dry. Growing up, I sometimes had Kofta, and it often turned out quite dry. The kofta did have some kick, and the small amount of very tasty labneh helped mute the spiciness. The Lebanese couscous portion was huge. That, too, helped give moisture to the kofta. This was a filling meal, and we ended up taking some home. Weighing the pros and cons, the cons, alas, outweighed the pros for us.

Food is OK quality and prices are reasonable if not inexpensive on their specials, like the steak and ribs for only $25. Good flavor and cooked ok but a nice combo for the price. Service is OK with some wait staff being more efficient than others. There were some who knew their customers by name and took time out to talk with them but that slowed down service a little for the rest of us. Nothing too bad but you might wait a bit for refills or something you need after your food or drinks arrive. We had cool fries and it took a bit for the staff to come back to our table to check in the dining room. Similar response time for wait staff outside when we needed condiments that were ordered but didn't come out with our entrees. Cigar menu is an ok selection where there is something for everyone; however, our experience was the place ran out of the first four cigars we selected and each time the wait staff had to come back to our table to tell us they were out of that cigar. Wait staff didn't know what cigars were in stock and which they were out of. Overall, very good experience for both inside the dining area and outside where you can smoke. The choices were: outside, the sports bar, or the dining room. We chose the dining room. A large group of people was sitting at a table. We were given a booth by the window and right by the server's station. Looking over the menu at home, we both decided that we would get a bacon cheeseburger. The entrees seemed, to us, to be too filling. The bacon cheeseburger consists of: "100% angus burger, apple-wood smoked bacon, vermont white cheddar, canadian cheddar, sliced tomato, and crispy leaf lettuce". We both ordered it cooked medium. The dish comes with fries. To drink, I had ginger ale while my husband had a Heineken 00. Our server was friendly and efficient. He made a mistake, bringing my husband a Coke instead of the beer. My husband corrected him. He apologized and retrieved the correct drink. The burger was dry and overcooked. It was more on the medium well side. In one way, I didn't mind that as I didn't end up with greasy hands or a burger that falls apart. The bacon and the cheese provided some relief from the dryness. The fries came out hot, which we appreciated. All in all, it was an OK experience; we would consider going again sometime.

We came for brunch and ordered the breakfast burger and pork belly breakfast sandwich. We also split the avocado toast as a starter (we were starving!). The avocado toast was perfectly prepared - toast was cripsy on the outside and chewy and thick on the inside. Ample smattering of smashed avocado with the fixin's. The burger was very good and my friend said they would totally order it again. The pork belly breakfast sandwich held together perfectly despite the inside being heavy. Pork belly remained perfectly crunchy and it had a heavy helping of melted cheese that was not overpowering. All lovely and all perfectly mixed. I would return here if nothing more than the cocktails! For starters, my daughter shared the Pate De Campagne, which consisted of country style pâté, cornichons and toast points. They loved it! My wife enjoyed the Salad Verte and I loved the Roquefort Salad. Both salads were simply marvelous and went well with the freshly baked bread. On to the main event! Fo her entree, my youngest daughter had the Roasted Cornish Hen. She had never had Cornish hen before, but this particular rendition made her a fan of the dish. Perfectly cooked, juicy and savory. My older daughter enjoyed the Salmon en Croute. The salmon was perfectly cooked to the correct temp and the pastry was spot on. A lovely dish and one I will try on our next visit. My wife and I each devoured the Chicken Paillard. This is one of those dishes that is so simple, but the lemon butter knocks your socks off.
