After stuffing my face with a biscuit sandwich and fries it felt like it was only right to get a juice on the way out. It's healthy and it's refreshing so why not???? Right??? Located in the same space as Daybreak, you can get a juice, a mimosa or a beer all in the same place. I got a Crisp and Crisp it was!!!! It combination of watermelon, green apple, mint and lemon. Sure enough you could taste all the ingredients too!!! So fresh that if I had not watched her pull on the tap and watch the juice flow into my cup, I would have thought she juiced it fresh while I waited. The location is lovely, well lit, wide open spaces with plenty of seating. They co-share a space with Daybreak so you can juice and eat at the same time. I did notice a stage in the corner so they may have live performances and such in the future. Looks like from the sign out front they have brunch too!!! Came here about an hour and a half before close on a Friday night. It was pretty empty for the size of the space but there was about 30 people in total and half were at the bar. There was only one bartender and he seemed pretty busy when we walked in. After sitting for a few minutes and listening to karaoke we decided to leave and try this place again another time. Nectar is my go-to bar in Sterling. Not only do they offer a variety of beers & wines, they also make fantastic cocktails. Nearly all the drinks are beautiful (picture worthy) on top of being tasty! The food is also amazing, although you have to purchase it at a separate counter from where you order the drinks (two different entities) I've tried their chicken sandwiches, pork belly sandwich and chicken wings and all were delicious. Every time my friends come out this way to visit me, I end up dragging them here. My goal is to eventually try all their cocktails. I wish they had more extended hours, they close at 10pm (last call is at 9:30pm) even on Friday's. I am also personally not a big fan of comedy/open mic nights. I accidentally came during one, one evening, when I wanted to catch up with a friend and it was hard to with a "show" going on. But I'm sure I'm in the minority (there was a large crowd) and will just avoid going on those nights in the future. Also while their menu advertises "select cocktails" on the happy hour menu, there's actually only one cocktail that's happy hour discounted which is the planter's punch! read more

This is a different concept for the area. It's attached to Crooked Run Brewery and next to Daybreak which is a new restaurant. All drinks here, alcoholic and non alcoholic, are based on cold pressed juiced. I tried the Bold and Brave which had tequila , watermelon, grapefruit syrup, soda and habanero shrub (shrub is a drinking vinegar). Sounds funky but it was a great combination of flavors. Okay I have to say, if this bar was a lot closer to where I live I would visit it more often! I love the look, I love the prices, and their mixing is on point. I order the Blood Orange Margarita on a Saturday evening as one of their specials and it was one of the best margaritas I have ever had. The price was great also, $5 and they didn't use cheap tequila either. What more can you ask for. Their specials were reasonable and they bar was clean. Everyone wore a mask and were super friendly. The best part is that it was busy and I still was attended to with professionalism and great customer service. I was also there during Battle of the Bands - we couldn't believe how much energy these live music events have. The cocktails are delicious and taste like candy but they are definitely poured strong. The juice is all fresh squeezed and all of the ingredients fresh. I don't know where to start, first if you are a female in a crop top, you'll likely disagree with this. Understandably. My group and I all ordered separately with my husband ordering drinks for the both of us as I was at the table with our child. The first round were all inconsistent. My drinks with my husband, the special had no ice and color was dark as the juice poured. My friend (crop top wearing) had a drink with blueberries, the works and ice and tasted delicious, could actually taste the alcohol that belonged. Her partner got the same but his was juiced down. We all took turns trying each other's drinks to compare. We then ordered food, which was delicious so daybreak has it together. Took awhile but expected on a weekend. We ordered a second round and this time the male bartender audibly said to my friend ( crop top) I gave you a bigger cup, both her drinks were served in a bigger cup. Ours were smaller, and again she got the blueberries and we got none. Our last round was mimosas, just traditional, my husband got one and the bartender served him that in a smaller cup, smaller than the mimosa cup I had. And it was LARGELY orange juice. My husband is passive so when he came back I went right up there and confronted the bartenders who KNEW I was coming back for that. I took the cup they gave him and poured it into the cup I had and showed them difference they were charging the SAME for. They looked at each with a loss of words almost with no explanation. It was embarrassing to watch them fumble over the fact they had been caught. I attached the pictures of what they did to try to get the same amount for. I've been here before and a LOVED it, even recommended it to people but the blatant misogynistic treatment was deplorable. Do better, it's 2020. We don't need crop tops and female body parts to be served equally. read more

Nectar shares a space with Daybreak, which I'd say is the main attraction. Nectar serves drinks only - fresh pressed juices, cocktails, some wine, and beer from the nearby brewery. I tried the blaze juice and it was really good, just not worth it for $7. I'd be happier if it were around $5, for the serving size.
