I was visiting the Ashburn area and happened to come across Juleps Kentucky Tavern. I am so glad I decided to stop in. The restaurant is beautiful and sits right on the corner, making it hard to miss. The first thing that caught my attention was the impressive bar in the center of the restaurant with plenty of seating. I always enjoy sitting at the bar, so it was the perfect place to relax for happy hour. Gabe was tending the bar and made the experience even better. His cocktails were excellent, he knew the menu well, and he helped me choose from several dishes that all sounded great. His recommendations were spot on, and his friendly personality and attentive service made me want to stay right where I was instead of moving to a table for dinner. If you are anywhere near Ashburn, I highly recommend stopping by Juleps Kentucky Tavern. The food is excellent, the drinks are outstanding, and the service is the kind that keeps people coming back. I know I will be back the next time I am in town.

Always on the hunt for a new restaurant in Ashburn area. Made reservations, was shown to our seats. Overheard grumbling from some walks in but it's Friday nite in the Burn ! Discounted drinks during the HH, mint julep for $7 was the deal. The little cornbread muffins were excellent , my entire, bourbon glazed pork chop was fantastic. Great service and atmosphere, will be back soon, this time for dessert.

Great spot with a menu that has a ton of options. The happy hour prices were reasonable, $5 drafts and $9 starters. We started with the fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese, which were excellent. The pork chop was impressively thick and cooked perfectly, and the cornbread stuffing side was extremely flavorful. The chicken cutlet caesar was huge and could easily be shared. They also have a cheeseburger and fries special for $5 on Tuesdays from 11am-3:30pm. Overall, a very solid meal with generous portions and good pricing. Would definitely come back.

We found this new Loudon restaurant by finding it on the In Kind App. We got a $25 coupon with a $75 purchase, which was easy with 3 people. Thank you for using In Kind app! Food (4/5): We started with drinks and I thought the Old Fashioned was on point - it was sweet, but not too sweet. The fried chicken was by far the best of the three entrees we tried - we had 4 pieces of delicious fried chicken. The truffle Mac and cheese was some of the best that I have ever had! That alone was worth the visit! My only complaint was that we discovered the fries on the bottom of the bucket of chicken about halfway through the meal and by the time we got it, they were smashed and cold...I wish these were served separately in a basket and this would make this one of the best values out there. My friend had the spicy avocado burger which looked good. She got a side salad and it looked like a solid meal. My other friend got the shrimp and grits. I liked that it was "soupy" - the shrimp was great. We asked for extra corn bread (they were small little mini cornbread that came as an appetizers.) It was covered in green and red peppers, though and I am not a fan of peppers at all. Service (5/5): The server was kind. Ambiance (3/5): The place is cute, but on a Sat night the noise level was so loud that I could not hear my table mates from across the booth. It has been years since I have been in a place where the noice level was so loud. We will return again - maybe try out lunch and see if it is not so loud.

Tried this place for Sunday brunch. The place is made for bar experience and happy hours. Tried the Nashville Hot Sandwich. Sadly the sandwich was disappointing. We also had tried an appetizer - also disappointing. The tallow fries were probably the best part of the brunch - tasted more like boardwalk fries. I'll probably try their happy hour. However, I would not return for brunch nor dinner.

Came for brunch one Saturday morning with three of my friends. The restaurant is spacious and the decor is on brand with the Kentucky vibe. They have a variety of seating options from booths, to bar stools, to arm chairs, and regular chairs. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. I liked how they offered us some seasoned popcorn while we decided what to order. We decided to get a few dishes and share all of it, family style. We got the hot honey bourbon wings and the wings. The sauce was unique and delicious. The fried green tomatoes were a hit for everyone at our table. Chicken and waffles were pretty standard. Short rib hash was flavorful and tender. Eggs on top cooked perfectly. The tallow fries could have been crispier, but they very well seasoned, and I couldn't stop sticking my hand in the basket for more! Would definitely go back to try more items on the menu.

We went for a date night and we're truly surprised by how great the spicy chicken sandwich, and drinks were! We also grabbed drinks an appetizer that were awesome. Great service, a very comfortable environment, and wonderful food.

Visited for happy hour and so happy that I did. We sad at the bar and received great service. Restaurant is a pub-like design, very spacious, clean and ample seating. We wanted to try a little of everything and were pleased with our selections. The popcorn was a nice treat as we waited for our food. The shrimp and grit bites as well as the wings were good. But the star of the show was the short rib grilled cheese. It came with a garlic aioli which was good but I also added bbq sauce and that made it even better! This is so close to home so I know I'll be back to at least try out some of their desserts!

If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll. It is definitely generous in size. It is decent and worth trying, but it can be a lot, which is probably why we only order it occasionally. For the kids, the hot chocolate is always a favorite and something they genuinely look forward to each visit. I went with the club sandwich--perfectly fine, but about as memorable as a meeting that could've been an email. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing that would ever bring me back for round two. There are plenty of solid lunch options in the area, and in hindsight, I probably should've explored one of them instead. I did spot a grilled cheese that looked great walking by--but let's be honest, grilled cheese always looks like it has its life together. It wasn't crowded, service was fine, and nothing was outright bad--it just didn't deliver the kind of experience I've come to expect from Ted's. It was by no means packed, there were a few tables empty the duration of our meal as people ate and left. But the service was INCREDIBLY slow. We ordered our son's kid's meal first, before we ordered our apps, but it came out after our entree's which was closer to 7:15. I assume the kid's meal coming out late was an awful server mistake, I can't imagine it would take over an hour to make a burger and fry up some potatoes. The chef was nice enough to let us order the octopus from the tasting menu (it was the only reason we came here, didn't realize it was part of the tasting). I almost did order the 5 course tasting menu, because it looked really good- but I'm so thankful I didn't. The table behind us was seated before us and by the time we left he was only on his third course. I'm also always cold but it was really warm in the restaurant. Not sure if their ac was broken or if it couldn't keep up with the weather. Not knocking the restaurant for this, things happen. But they probably could've used another few fans. We were the one table in the middle so the air wasn't getting to us. Not knocking the restaurant at all for this, it's a hot hot summer and things like this happen. The kid's meal portion was huge, actually bigger than my gnocchi order. We also ordered the brussels, pork ribs, seared tuna, tagliatelle, branzino, and pork chop. The pork chop was the most memorable thing. Based on this experience we wouldn't come back here on our own. We wouldn't rule it out though- if someone wanted to go here with us for any reason, we would consider giving it another shot.

It's a favorite among locals and regulars, with the kind of old-school diner charm that's becoming harder to find. The first thing you'll notice is the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner has an impressive collection of military challenge coins and patches displayed throughout the restaurant. Now, the food--it's simply tasty. If you're having trouble deciding what to order, the Joe's Breakfast Platter is the perfect solution. It gives you a little bit of everything, and the staff makes sure every item is prepared exactly how you like it. The hollandaise sauce is rich and creamy without feeling overly heavy, letting the flavors shine without overwhelming the dish. And for coffee lovers, you're in good hands. The coffee is bottomless, and the attentive staff somehow always seems to know when your mug needs a refill before you even notice. You'll rarely see the bottom of your cup. The variety of seating -- dining room, lounge, patio, rooftop, and fire-pit areas -- means there's a perfect spot for any vibe, whether you want something intimate and quiet or lively with live music on the weekends. Service was warm and attentive, and the whole experience felt genuinely special without being stuffy. This place has become my go-to recommendation for anyone visiting the area. Don't sleep on The Lost Fox -- it's a true Ashburn treasure.

It projects an English modern cabin vibe, but with a touch on whimsy (see mustache coat hangers on booths!). The fireplace is centrally located and gives off an essence of coziness. Complimenting the ambiance, the service was great! The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations. We came for brunch and ordered the breakfast burger and pork belly breakfast sandwich. We also split the avocado toast as a starter (we were starving!). The avocado toast was perfectly prepared - toast was cripsy on the outside and chewy and thick on the inside. Ample smattering of smashed avocado with the fixin's. The burger was very good and my friend said they would totally order it again. The pork belly breakfast sandwich held together perfectly despite the inside being heavy. Pork belly remained perfectly crunchy and it had a heavy helping of melted cheese that was not overpowering. Brunch was amazing and we want to go back and experience the patio when it's warmer and also some live music! Such a great vibe and good food!
