Salmon, green beans and mashed potatoes next to my Solace Brewery's Partly Cloudy IPA before the big winter snowstorm in DC tomorrow.

Great atmosphere. Sat at the bar since I was by myself and the bartender was great! I got the salmon on a plank with mashed potatoes and green beans. The salmon was excellent and the green beans too. The potatoes had a funny aftertaste but maybe it was the two beers I had before 12 noon! Highly recommend this Ashburn bar/gastropub!!

Smokey old fashioned. Yum

Very conflicted and I've been here three times. I have some observations: staff was good, helpful and they worked. The place was clean. Bathrooms clean. Nice outdoor seating. Extensive beer menu ( although I thought beer pricing was inconsistent. Some seemed too expensive some value.). Smoke old fashioned was super! Now the food: bruschetta good but only 5 pieces making it harder to share. The wings were severely over cooked. I also mentioned the wings being over cooked and I was looked at like a weirdo. Pasta was good and large portion. Pork chop tough but good sauce.

What can I say here.....I so wanted to give them more because they are so nice, but I need to be honest, so here we go. Plus. Happy hour prices on drinks and apps, incredibly good. Drinks for $6, big plus. Server and Manager could not had been nicer. Cons. Big table of 12 had them overwhelmed, service was extremely slow. My wife had 2 bites of her burger, and was done. Said it just was terrible tasting. My salad was okay, not great. Will not be back, will not give them a second chance, too many other restaurants to choose from around here. I know they are trying, and best of luck.

The food was very bad. We had the nachos and they came with cold stadium style cheese and cold guacamole from a bag on top. Almost no chicken to be found. The beer on tap tasted watered down. The bathrooms were the same cleanliness and style of a mid tier gas station. The beer prices are the same as DC proper which makes no sense. Good TVs for football.

The cozy atmosphere, stone hearth, and warm decor make it the perfect place for a date night, a special occasion, or just a great evening out. The food is outstanding. The crab dip, the housemade pasta, and the burger are all incredible -- clearly made with real care and quality ingredients. The cocktails are equally impressive and keep pace with the food perfectly. The variety of seating -- dining room, lounge, patio, rooftop, and fire-pit areas -- means there's a perfect spot for any vibe, whether you want something intimate and quiet or lively with live music on the weekends. Service was warm and attentive, and the whole experience felt genuinely special without being stuffy. This place has become my go-to recommendation for anyone visiting the area. We made reservations since we were a group of 6 including 2 infants, and these were warranted as the restaurant progressively filled up as we got closer to peak brunch hours. We were offered a large booth, which was appreciated as we needed space for the babies. The food here tasted quite good. My wife ordered the Pork Belly Benedict, which offered tender-crisp, thick slices of braised pork belly atop soft, buttery focaccia and coated with well poached eggs and creamy hollandaise. We both highly enjoyed my Broadlands Breakfast Sandwich, a clever take on a standard bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich swapping crispy, perfectly sweet French toast for standard bread. The breakfast potatoes served alongside were crispy on the outside with fluffy interiors and good seasoning. Our friends enjoyed their sandwiches as well. As the name alludes, the drink program is strong and offers something for everyone. In addition to wine and whisky, a solid selection of both cocktails and draft beers are available. Prices for both food and drinks were quite reasonable given the quality of what we received. I do dock a star for just so-so service. Our waitress was a bit MIA during the first part of our meal when we were trying to order, and then kept checking in on us every 5 minutes once our food arrived. We also had to remind her a few times to get a high chair for our little one. Fortunately, the food and drinks all arrived accurately and within a timely manner once ordered. Service woes aside, the creative fare satisfied our taste buds and we look forward to returning soon for to sample more of the brunch menu and libations.

Our fantastic bar server was Abby. She joked about trying everything on the menu... and we almost did. Short of maybe one or two items, we did enjoy all the food. The drink pours really weee generous and the selection of crazy hour wines knocked it out of the park. Ambiance- well lots of outdoor space and garage door walls made it well lit and enjoyable. It's easy to slide from crazy hour to happy hour because of the food, drink and service.

I would recommend a reservation because with rain outside aka the patio being closed, the whole inside was packed. A lot of the seats are super close which feels very European but you can hear most peoples conversations which can be annoying. Our waitress was really sweet and stopped by a bunch. We started with French 75's, hot coffee, and an espresso martini. The drinks were refreshing and quite large for the price. The espresso martini really reminded me of a grown up hot chocolate, I really enjoyed it. I later also got a cucumber vodka martini and it was one of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had - definitely the drink of the summer. For our food we started with the baked brie with fig and garlic and the escargot. The brie was a unique take on baked brie, I loved the way the flavors all melded and the fact the cheese wasn't completely spilling out everywhere. The escargot was soft with a phenomenal crumb/butter mix, the whole things really melded well and melted in your mouth. The bread served with it was nice as well, if only I had a bit more of it. For our mains we were here during brunch so we got the lobster omelet and the French onion soup with the side of fries. The french onion soup was great, a good amount of cheese and onions without being overwhelming. Fries were fantastic and quite large, a big portion for $7. They hooked it up with the amount of lobster. I would definitely come back to try their lunch tasting menu or other brunch items as well!

Cute French style restaurant. We really loved the bouef bourginon and the desserts (profiteroles…read moreand lacherin glace). The short ribs fell apart without a knife bc they were sooo tender and the desserts were expertly crafted. I might go back just for dessert yum!! The Brie appetizer was enjoyable though a little small if splitting. The shrimp cocktail were very traditional. I enjoyed them. My husband loved the homemade baguette although I wonder if it's because the butter was so good; the bread itself was a little hard for me and of course room temp as is typical in France. Kids enjoyed the kids options (though preferred our dishes). Pasta in cream sauce and steak frites were their choices. It was really loud inside particularly when tables in the middle of the room were occupied. Outdoor patio might be pleasant for easier conversation. Also bring a sweater- if you end up under an ac vent, it can be cold.

For drinks, The Moussetache was smooth and velvety with rich chocolate notes, while Fetish felt like a true dessert in a glass, decadent and indulgent. The Conche Burger was juicy and flavorful with subtle cocoa depth, the Harissa Chicken Sizzle came out tender with a nice balance of heat and smoky sweetness, and the Ribeye was perfectly cooked, rich, and elevated by their signature touch. The ambiance is warm, modern, and intimate, perfect for a date night or a special dinner.
