Came at 7pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. Enjoyed the indoor/outdoor feel in the bar area with the doors open. Jasmine was an excellent server. I got the fried chicken sandwich and tossed it in the Nashville hot sauce - highly recommend, it was delicious. Huge/thick cut of chicken and the sauce does have a kick. The truffle fries were delicious too. I was also super impressed that they had a NA beer on tap. Highly recommend and would come back!

Came for happy hour on Wednesday. Javi helped us at the bar and was lovely. We had the happy hour hazy IPA, which was a Solace, Partly Cloudy (one of my faves!) The restroom was fabulous. Very peaceful. Don't usually comment on that but it was! Stopped back by the same night after my event and had a glass of wine and there was live music. Pretty cool for a Wednesday night! Will be back to try food and other treats.

Fun experience. Stopped in on a Saturday, college football just kicked off, lots of people watching football at the bar, we were just looking for a semi- quick lunch. Service was friendly and attentive. Drinks came out quickly. Good seemed to take a while. Pricy for what it is (well over $20 for a salad with grilled chicken?) but atmosphere was great, gorgeous day to be sitting inside but close enough to outside to enjoy sunshine.

I came here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend for dinner. We had seen their menu online and already knew what we wanted, but when we got to the restaurant, they had a completely different menu than the one online so that kind of threw us off and we had to go for other items. For example, my boyfriend had wanted a grilled salmon dish on the website menu, but that was no longer on their actual menu. Our waitress was honest that they changed out many items on the menu that she liked and thought were good. I will say she was very straightforward and gave her honest opinion on what to order and what not to order. For instance, I had wanted the carne asada tacos but she recommended I do the shrimp tacos instead. She said those were tastier and I trusted her judgement. For starters, I had the charred Brussel sprouts. She had mentioned they were fried, but they were actually grilled and they were very tasty and cooked the way I liked. The shrimp tacos were also delicious and I liked the combo of flavors, especially the pickled onions and cherry peppers. My boyfriend opted for the ten spice wings. He doesn't care for fried food, and we asked if they could be baked but she said they bake them first and then fry after. I couldn't understand why they couldn't modify it by just not frying it, but she said it couldn't be done. They were very flavorful and he enjoyed them for the most part. Ambience is pretty relaxed. Lots of people were there watching the game and there were all types of people, from families with kids, to couples, and everything in between. Our table was spacious and it looked like a step above from the standard pub restaurant. I wouldn't mind going back but they should really update the menu on their website so it matches what's in the restaurant.

City Tap is an essential element to One Loudoun. Quality food, excellent servers, and comfortable (and importantly warm) interior and exterior seating options. We came here for a quick dinner in New Years Eve amidst the expected heavy crowds. The theme was Cowboy night and seeing folks all around in hats and bandanas was a fun experience. I got the Tandoori Chicken Kabobs and the taste was excellent. The chicken fell right off the sticks, the tabouleh salad was refreshing and perfectly accompaniment by the pomegranates, and scooping the smooth hummus up with the pita was excellent. My only real complaint is that I found myself still hungry after completing the dish, although that might be more easily attributed to my appetite than the serving size. I recommend checking the menu ahead of times if you end up going on a busy night like we did!

I'm not sure if 3 stars is a little generous or a little low. Apparently I've been here before and ordered a kid's cheesburger. Not sure when I came or how my visit was since I didn't review at that time. Hmm. This review will be for my recent visit. I wish I had the option of ordering the kids cheeseburger because I didn't want to order a large entree or any of the sides. I ended up ordering the Black Angus Tap Burger with mozzarella instead of yellow cheese and unsalted fries. I asked for well done, but it was a little too pink for my liking. I just ate it anyway...but it wasn't the best burger I've had. We were seated in the bar area, which was fine. Our server was nice and attentive. Unfortunately we came on a Saturday..so i guess that's DJ night? The music was just terrible, with maybe 4 good songs and some random Hindi songs. He kept trying to hype up the "dance floor" section. The music was just unbelievably loud for such a small area. I was just ready to leave. Would I return? Yea, probably...but not when the DJ is there!

Look g for an easy outing? This is the place. And they have happy hour specials. Went here on a Friday afternoon and it was easy to get a table and the service was great. The ambiance was awesome with music and tvs. They also have live music after certain hours.

We wanted to venture out for brunch on this rainy Sunday and said we needed to try somewhere new that also offered comfort food options given the weather and we decided to give City Tap Loudon a try. We made a reservation and were promptly seated but it took our server a while to get to us although she apologized and her service was PHENOMENAL for the entirety of our dining experience (Michelle was her name) . We ordered their 10 spice wings, pretzels and pimento and the hangover pizza for appetizers to share. The star appetizer was the wings which I unfortunately don't have a pic of for some odd reason and the pretzels and pimento were a close second (I would come back just for the wings). For entrees we ordered the shrimp and grits which were a very nice spin on the original where these had a side of collard greens and 2 sunny side up eggs on top. They were DELISH! My friend had the pecan French toast and said it was delightful and sweet! We will definitely come back and probably sit in the bar area where they have TVs and show the games since we got to experience the more traditional brunch dining experience today.

Great ambience with an inviting bar, rusty wood with velvet seating, linen pendent lighting with a total shabby chic decor. A couple fire towers on the patio that I will return to experience when the weather gets warmer. Fantastic service and wait staff - Food came out in less than 15 mins, water was refilled multiple times. Another wait staff delivered my sangria who enthusiastically described how fresh this batch [of sangria] was and greeted us with a big "salute". I am a sucker for fun and friendly service! Food was nicely portioned and delicious. They were flexible in letting me to sub out the beans & rice with a basket of fries. In celebration of International Women's Day, they are having an all day Happy Hour for all ladies with select beers, wines, cocktails, and select appetizers all are half price. DJ starts at 10:00p so come on out!

*tap, tap, tap in* Let's tap into the review that you need to read! For starters, the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially our waitress. I wish that I could have remembered her name but I would say that we came here, Saturday night before Halloween and were seated in the booth. Restaurant ambiance: as mentioned, it was the Saturday before Halloween, so the restaurant was perfectly decorated to match the occasion and provide that spooky yet sexy vibes. This place is great for sports fans, excellent for a cute date night, or some fun with friends! I had an absolute ball from start to finish. For my drink, I had the Halloween special which was the "Devil's Sangria" I wasn't too sold on it because it was a little too acidic and lacked liquor LOL so I ended up getting another drink (not pictured here) and that drink was AMAZING- the bartender didn't miss on the pour. For dinner, I had the Ten spice wings and my friend had the prime burger. The wings were DELECTABLE!!!!! Whatever the ten spices were, the flavors left me weak in the knees. It was absolutely delicious and the wings were perfectly smoked. I had a side of French fries with it but man, those were some delicious wings. My friend said that his burger was on point and that the bread was buttery soft. He also noted that they didn't miss on preparing the burger as ordered. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. No desserts were available nor ordered and that's okay. We knocked back a few drinks after our meal and had a great time jamming to a live dj, who was fire!!!! And catching glimpse of the World Series on the TVs at the bar. I live in DC and I am very familiar with the other location but I must say that this location is by far, my favorite. Both the customer service and food flavors were on point! Overall, I had a great time and wouldn't mind revisiting this place.

Shrimp and grits with an addon of Brussel sprouts

This place was pretty good. We tried a number of happy hour appetizers: pulled pork nachos, margharita pizza, corn crab cakes... I'm addition to the spicy cauliflower. All were pretty good. I ordered the shrimp and grits. I got Brussel sprouts instead of collard greens because I'm not too much of a fan of collard greens. My meal was satisfying, although i was between the shrim and grits and the chicken pot pie, and two of my colleagues got the chicken pot pie and were raving about how good it was, so it left me a little jealous that i ordered the wrong thing. Lol

I have come here a few times: a couple times with a friend and the most recent time was by myself. The first couple times, the service was pretty solid: we were seated quickly, and our orders taken shortly after we were seated. We got nachos and a couple other finger foods. The most recent time, I came in by myself in the afternoon. I was immediately greeted by the host, and I requested to sit at the bar. It took about 15 minutes (maybe even longer) before the 2 gentleman bartenders acknowledged me or even ask if I was ready to put in an order. I was only acknowledged when a lady bartender came in. She greeted me and asked if I was ready to place an order, which I was. I was waiting to get a margarita or long island iced tea, but with how irritated I was becoming waiting to place an order, I opted for a mocktail recommendation. She recommended a black cherry type of mocktail based on what I tend to like. She checked in on me several more times while I waited and after I had gotten my food. I appreciated her service; I didn't appreciate the other bartenders just ignoring me. that was a little bit annoying, especially since several customers who came in after me got waited on first. I had ordered the pulled pork nachos along with the recommended black cherry mocktail. Some of the nacho chips were a little bit stale, so it was a bit disappointing. The mocktail was a tad bit too sweet, but the bartender was kind enough to dilute it for me with a little bit more lemon juice and club soda. There was a live performer singing for some of the time that I was there. There were different kinds of groups that were in there: some families with kids, friend groups, solo diners, etc. It was a pretty laid-back atmosphere, and I quite enjoyed it. Overall, good service when I actually received one. Food was okay. I liked the atmosphere, but the food and the length of time I had to wait to actually receive service makes it unlikely for me to come back.

Made a reservation for 3 and we were seated immediately on a Friday night. The place was busy but our server was attentive and came right over to take our drink order. The restaurant had a nice vibe, we sat in a comfy high booth, lighting was a little dim for my old lady eyes, but my readers helped lol! We ordered the crab and corn hush puppies for an app. They were served nice and hot, with butter on the side and a delicious remoulade for dipping. Definitely recommend. My daughter had the grilled cheese and tomato Soup. She's very picky about her tomato soup but said it was delicious! Husband has the Cuban and said it was very good. I had the fried chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were ok. I expected crispier for shoestring style. The chicken was cooked well, but was a little dry in spots. It came with pimento cheese on top but not much. Overall, good dinner out at a new spot.

The cozy atmosphere, stone hearth, and warm decor make it the perfect place for a date night, a special occasion, or just a great evening out. The food is outstanding. The crab dip, the housemade pasta, and the burger are all incredible -- clearly made with real care and quality ingredients. The cocktails are equally impressive and keep pace with the food perfectly. The variety of seating -- dining room, lounge, patio, rooftop, and fire-pit areas -- means there's a perfect spot for any vibe, whether you want something intimate and quiet or lively with live music on the weekends. Service was warm and attentive, and the whole experience felt genuinely special without being stuffy. This place has become my go-to recommendation for anyone visiting the area. It projects an English modern cabin vibe, but with a touch on whimsy (see mustache coat hangers on booths!). The fireplace is centrally located and gives off an essence of coziness. Complimenting the ambiance, the service was great! The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations. We came for brunch and ordered the breakfast burger and pork belly breakfast sandwich. We also split the avocado toast as a starter (we were starving!). The avocado toast was perfectly prepared - toast was cripsy on the outside and chewy and thick on the inside. Ample smattering of smashed avocado with the fixin's. The burger was very good and my friend said they would totally order it again. The pork belly breakfast sandwich held together perfectly despite the inside being heavy. Pork belly remained perfectly crunchy and it had a heavy helping of melted cheese that was not overpowering. Brunch was amazing and we want to go back and experience the patio when it's warmer and also some live music! Such a great vibe and good food!

I would say that Sense of Thai St. has become a neighborhood staple and stands strong among the other great Thai places in the area. Definitely has improved and remained steady over the years. I still think the prices are a little hard to swallow for the portion sizes in terms of how much actual protein you get with any one dish. But it's undeniable how perfectly balanced the flavors and spices are, and the menu is always evolving with a very wide range of Asian fusion and traditional Thai dishes.
