There's lots of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating with umbrellas. The ambiance can be described as casual and good for large groups. The menu is diverse and affordable, there's something for everyone here. Our server was really nice. He handled our large group well and adapted quickly. I ordered a bowl of tomato bisque, which is different than tomato soup. The quantity was good for the price and I liked the creamy flavor. I'd probably come back here again to try other things on the menu with my family, for a casual outing, or for a happy hour. Good solid steak with a great sky sauce to accompany it. Fries were crisp and are a solid side. The real prize is the carrot cake. So much sweet frosting on the top of a nutty carrot cake. The chocolate cake had a caramel-sweet inside but you really have to dig for it. Came by for a quick lunch because I craved a juicy burger. I can't see myself paying $19 at a fast food burger place in Leesburg when I can sit in a nice restaurant and pay less for a juicy burger. Table service was excellent! Our server whose name escaped me, was so efficient. She was friendly and very accommodating despite some of the high maintenance customers around us. The juicy burger(mushroom Swiss burger) was SO good. It was huge and the other half was lunch the very next day. Their BRG fries came out hot and crisp. Next time I will prob ask for no salt. The food was so lack luster. Everyone at the table was pretty disappointed with the quality of food. The brussel sprouts had the texture of being over boiled and were just soggy and had no flavor. Someone got the fish special and felt sick after it. The Christmas drinks were also a miss. The one great thing about this restaurant was our server. I have to agree with the former reviewer. the staff is consistently running after one another sharing what they got from "Tik Tok" then providing good service. this is a recent change that I observed @ the bar and kitchen area. immature staff need to step up. we may not return which is a shame. the food is good with the exception of their coleslaw that has cinnamon. read more

I have been going to the Leesburg location for many years. This was my first time at the Ashburn location. The atmosphere was comforting. The service very polite and professional. I highly recommend asking for Dustin. I ordered a new dish which was a wedge salad. It was topped with crispy thin onion rings, a generous amount of blue cheese crumble, crisp, coursely cut bacon, boiled egg, blue cheese dressing and a piece of toast that was branded with "(blank) Grand". Clever. It could be broken up into croutons but they leave that up to you. We finished by splitting their trademark pumpkin cheesecake. A must have! Obviously only available during this time of year. Visited this restaurant as we normally do and love the food and service. Today's unfortunate events will not have us returning anytime in the future. A man sitting at the bar on several FaceTime calls out loud and very disturbing was starting to disrupt several guests including ourselves. He was scanning the bar with his call so the person he was talking to one by one was watching us eat, have drinks and mingle. As this became more and more disruptive to several guests the guests started talking to each other about how unnerving this was. He seemed to quickly get irritated at the guests talking to each other and getting along he moved to the dining room. As he complained to the manager we were disruptive by speaking to each other and being loud, he still had no self awareness of what he'd done. As the bartender became very uneasy and said this would all be taken out on him several groups asked to speak with him to assure the man was rude and this bartender had nothing to do with it as he tried to keep service spectacular and remain neutral. The manager came over spoke to a few guests sitting near us and they expressed their concerns. The manager simply told them the man was a doctor. (As if that had anything to do with his disruption or made him any more valid of a customer) he then said he just wanted the women to drop it over and over. It was very disheartening how these women were completely shut down after several guests complaints of the man being rude and not aware of his surroundings disturbing everyone's lunch. Unbelievable he would decide to throw out the man's profession as a saving grace for his behavior or make him holier than thou. The manager at this blue ridge grill on Sunday 5/24 will be the specific reason we will not return to this location. I feel for this bartender as he rendered great service and the kitchen, great food! The behavior and management of this man was degrading to everyone in the restaurant and very unprofessional. We used to frequent this location but unfortunately this will be our last return. read more

Went here on 05/24/26 at 2pm. Extremely disappointed with Management, very unprofessional, rude and degrading. Sat at the bar with several customers around when a man walked in and sat close to me and decided he was going to FaceTime call several people on full volume. Not only did he not get the hint that it was very annoying, several customers complained to the server about him and the manager said there was nothing he could do. When another customer called someone on FaceTime and started talking to their friend for about 30 seconds he decided to move and complain to the manager. The manager at the time then came up to the customer who had only gotten on the phone to show him how annoying it was and said that the man on the phone complained about them being a disturbance. Saying the man was Dr. which had 0 relevance to him being disruptive/annoying. The bar tender and food were great as always but the manager needs to be replaced and should probably find a new career as customer service is not in his wheelhouse. Came here on a Wednesday at about 2:30. Sat at the bar, nice warm friendly wooden bar. Brian was great!! Got our drinks quickly. Royal cheeseburger was fabulous! I had the sliced prime rib sammy. We visit Blue Ridge Ashburn regularly. The quality of the food is what brings us back consistently. A favorite is the weekend brunch served until 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The service is always impeccable. The photos are from brunch. Steaks are always cooked perfectly. Prime rib and the filets are of the same quality as more expensive steak houses in the area. The linen dressed tables are separated sufficiently to carry on private conversations and the only tvs are in the bar area. The food is delicious, delightful and varied from soup to nuts. I've passed by this place several times over the last few months. My family and I finally decided to stop in for brunch. The place was busy, which is always a good sign. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Our wait was not long at all. Once seated, our booth had a frosted window to allow for privacy between tables. I loved that we weren't staring at each other. Our server was kind and explained the menu, made some suggestions and provided great service. My husband and kids had the French toast with strawberries. It looked delicious and tasted even better. The portions are generous, but my family is greedy so no leftovers here. I had to be different so I got the shrimp and fries. The shrimp were huge and everything was seasoned nicely and absolutely delicious. The menu had plenty of options for everyone and I saw a few things I want to try. Dined with relatives who chose the spot. We had reservations but the place wasnt that full on a Monday night. We were seated quickly. One ordered a Vienna lager, I ordered a Zombie Ranger Juicy Haze which definitely had some grapefruit flavor. We had some rolls too, although it was a bit stingy with only 3 for the 3 of us. Our entrees were good too. I had the ahi tuna steak with asparagus - which I had seen online. It was all very good. No complaints from my guests either. We all gnawed on the Walnut Apple Cobbler too. We love dining here because the outdoor seating area is large and cozy. My family dines here more than any other restaurant and it's for all these reasons. I really enjoy the steak and egg burrito, the steaks are awesome and the ribs are consistently smokey and fall of the bone tender. They have a lot in common with NJ diners where everything on the menu is someone's favorite dish. We came AGAIN on a Tuesday for the taco special. Now, with that said, that option is the house salad and it really is one of the best salads I've ever had. How have I lived so closed to this place for years and never once checked it out? From the outside, BRG is truly unflattering. It looks like an old Applebees. But once you walk in, you know you're in a different kind of establishment. The food is wonderful and the service is top notch. The portions are maybe a bit too big and the prices are a little steep but I guess those things go hand in hand. It may be a good place to share a plate or be prepared to bring leftovers back with you.
