Got to check out Dig on Brimfield Drive, and I have to say--it did not disappoint! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their ingredients and flavors. I tried the beef and potatoes, and it was so well-seasoned and hearty--definitely something I'd order again. The ginger lemonade mocktail? Bomb! So refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. What I really love about this place is how their food feels both wholesome and satisfying without being too heavy. One of the highlights of my visit was getting to make my own focaccia--such a fun, hands-on experience, and taking it home made it even better! I think they don't actually offer for you to make it but they have their focaccia that already made for you. We went to a special event that allows us to do that. And let's not forget dessert--it was somewhere between a brownie and fudge chocolate, super rich and the perfect sweet ending. Overall, Dig is a solid spot whether you're dining in or grabbing food to-go. The flavors, the atmosphere, and the quality ingredients make it a place worth coming back to. Can't wait for my next visit!

My son visiting saw this location and invited us to have lunch. Unique food with plenty of it. Chicken, vegetables all tasty. Will visit next time in New York.

Custom Dig Bowl with Tofu, Sheet Pan Carrots and Broccoli with Brown Rice

Great experience and great meal. First visit while in NOVA for business and the staff was engaging and helpful from the second I walked in. The selections were fresh and the store was clean, neat and well organized. The food was flavorful and delicious! I loved the crispy chicken and crispy tofu topping my zippy sheet pan carrots and broccoli. The siracha and aioli were the perfect choice for my bowl. I've got a new favorite spot and the price is very reasonable for the ample portions. Will use for business catering too! Such kind staff at this place! check 32 on 3/12- Bravo Dig Inn!

DIG - Fresh, Flavorful, and Perfect for a Busy Saturday! Stopped by DIG on a Saturday, just in time for a surprise puppy parade passing by! The place was lively but not packed, so we ordered through the app to skip the line and try a few things. We went all-in with three hot honey crispy chicken sandwiches and a hot honey chicken plate, wanting a little variety to share. First impressions? The food looked fresh, wholesome, and definitely on the healthier side. Each sandwich was packed with crispy, tender chicken, and that hot honey drizzle brought just the right mix of sweet and spicy. It's the kind of sandwich that feels like comfort food but doesn't weigh you down. The hot honey plate was a nice change-up, with perfectly cooked chicken over grains and greens -- filling but still light. For $20 a person (with a voucher) plus a small extra charge, we got two entrees each -- pretty amazing for quality and quantity. DIG hit the mark with flavorful, feel-good food, and getting to enjoy it all while watching a parade of adorable pups was a bonus. If you're around on a weekend, DIG is a must for anyone wanting a fresh, satisfying meal without the guilt.

Ambiance: Simple and Clean interiors. They have really cute merch to buy. Staff is very friendly and helped me understand all the food options they have. Food: we had the crispy chicken bowl with cashew salad and Mac and cheese . We got another bowl with grilled chicken and Mac and cheese. I am a fan of their Mac and cheese, it is so unique compared to all the other places. Also the Cashew kale salad is delicious. I prefer grilled chicken over the crispy chicken as I found it a tad oily. Over all great place. Will go back to try their tofu and Fish options soon. Parking: there is ample shared parking in front of the store. Dog friendly: Their patio is dog friendly.

Hot Honey Chicken Bowl

First came here for an event and felt this place was awesome but just needed a touch more seasoning, and they definitely delivered this time! Dig has a phenomenal selection of health options that anyone can enjoy. I tried the hot honey chicken and it was amazing! The veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the whole bowl comes together nicely. I also tried the garlic aioli and it's not an overpowering flavor and pairs nicely with the bowl. I opted to try the carrot cake and it was sooo good! Definitely try this place out if your looking for a quick bite that won't cost alot and is also nutritious.

DIG is a casual spot good for lunch or dinner. I've been here a few times and it's always been a good experience. The staff is nice and the space is bright and open. I normally make my own bowl because I like the customization. There's nothing amazing about the veggies, the protein and sauces make up the flavor of your bowl. The charred and crispy chickens are nicely flavored and travel well. You get exactly what you expect from here! A small thing is that I wish the food was cut smaller simply for ease when eating. All the veggies are left close to whole and the crispy chicken is one large piece of chicken in the bowl. It's just inconvenient if you're looking for a quicker lunch or if you want to get all the components in one bite.

Herb Roasted Chicken with Mac & cheese and Charred Broccoli...Paired with a Ginger Mint Lemonade
Kenyatte S.

After a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is cook. DIG offers delicious options to satisfy any palate. My favorite is the herb roasted chicken, sweet potato and charred broccoli. I tried the Mac and cheese for the first time and it was good. It's a very unique texture with the breadcrumbs on top. I normally go for water but this time they had a ginger lemonade, which paired nicely with my meal. The food is freshly made and affordable. Perfect for family dinner. The staff was welcoming and made suggestions. The dining room was spacious with lots of seating. It felt very inviting. I plan on making this my go to place when I want comfort food without the fuss.

Build your own bowl: maples glazed tofu, side of mac & cheese and roasted carrots, brown rice
Grace W.

**Ate on September 15, 2024** Food 4/5 - I got the maple glazed tofu as the main protein, sides of mac & cheese and roasted carrots on a bed of brown rice. Everything was cooked well and tasted good, but unfortunately a 4/5 because the sides were disappointing: carrots were over seasoned and the mac & cheese was bland. Service 3/5 - Service was friendly, however I noticed that the "for here" plates were dirty (the sides of the plates were crusty and smudged). There needs to be more attention to detail there. - Note: since it's a fast casual restaurant, most of it is self-service and you can get your own (water) drinks and utensils. Ambiance 5/5 - No complaints with regards to the ambiance. Overall minimalistic but nice. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

First time at Dig and WOW! This place nails the vibe of seasonal comfort food with a fast-casual twist. You can build your own bowls or pick one of their curated special bowls. The modern, green interior with wood seating creates a fresh, earthy feel--and yes, there's an open kitchen so you can watch all the cooking magic happen! Here's what I tried: -Chicken Tray Bake: Juicy, flavorful chicken paired with apple and kale over pickled onions and farro. It was everything you want in a cozy, savory dish. -Crispy Chicken Bowl: A delightful mix of farm greens (with a pop of mint!), sweet potato, mac and cheese, and a drizzle of vegan ranch. Fresh, savory, and seriously satisfying. -Charred Chicken Bowl: Packed with brown rice, sweet potato, creamy avocado, and gooey mac and cheese, all tied together with a pesto drizzle. Talk about flavor overload! -Ginger Lemonade: So refreshing! Not too sweet, just the right amount of zing to keep things light. -Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie: OMG. Freshly baked with gooey chocolate chunks and a sprinkle of sea salt. Perfect balance of sweet and salty! There are so many options and combos to try--I'll definitely be back to explore more! The seasonal aspect is super cool, and the menu changes often, keeping things exciting. The cook and staff were friendly and patient during my first visit. If you're into fresh, fast, and flavorful food, Dig is a must-try!

Chicken. Sweet potatoes. Salad. On farro.

This review is from the soft opening. It definitely a work in progress. Service was good but inconsistent with others. The chicken said blackened but wasn't. Grains done well. Carrots done perfectly but over spiced. On a side note the minimalist interior had booths made of plywood and the chairs uncomfortable. I will return soon to see if they improve.

Chicken bowl

We stopped by to pick up dinner for three. The store is like chipotle but with a novelty and without the long lines or food preparers rushing you like they do at Chipotle. We ordered a chicken, a steak and a salmon bowl and they all tasted pretty good. Needless to say the food is more expensive than chipotle.

Make your own bowl with steak, tomatoes & cucumbers, roasted sweet potatoes, and brussel sprouts.
Shelly A.

The food consistently hits the mark. Five out of five! Staff are welcoming, service is fast and friendly and well, I already told you... it's fabulous. I found this place though a yelp elite event and I honestly can't say enough good things about it. Try it out and see for yourself. I have had the salmon, steak and the chick thighs, all were exceptional. The roasted sweet potatoes are wedges, perfectly cooked and sweet. Brussel sprouts and the cucumber & tomatoes are some of my favorite sides. Makes your own bowl or select one that that has been perfectly curated. Seriously, get over here!

I rate restaurants within their category and concept. I am not comparing a neighborhood breakfast…read morespot to a Michelin star dining experience. If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll. It is definitely generous in size. It is decent and worth trying, but it can be a lot, which is probably why we only order it occasionally. For the kids, the hot chocolate is always a favorite and something they genuinely look forward to each visit. Overall, Ted's Bulletin continues to deliver tasty breakfast food, dependable quality, and a family friendly experience that keeps us coming back. Easy 5 stars from me.

I went with the club sandwich--perfectly fine, but about as memorable as a meeting that could've been an email. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing that would ever bring me back for round two. The fries, on the other hand, showed up crispy and confident... easily the highlight of the plate. There are plenty of solid lunch options in the area, and in hindsight, I probably should've explored one of them instead. I did spot a grilled cheese that looked great walking by--but let's be honest, grilled cheese always looks like it has its life together. It wasn't crowded, service was fine, and nothing was outright bad--it just didn't deliver the kind of experience I've come to expect from Ted's. If I return, it'll be for breakfast, where they seem to know exactly what they're doing.

Oh have the mighty have fallen - if it wasn't for a friends birthday, I would probably have not…read morecome here but there I was, Saturday night, hoping it was as good as I remembered. First- we sat by the fire for a round of drinks and appetizers. The service was ok- she seemed confused when we listed off menu items but perhaps it was harder to hear us outside. I ordered the MOST expensive (and overpriced) drink on the menu- the smoked old fashion. It came out in a dirty glass with no smoke....for $22. Outback steakhouse smokes an old fashion in front of you for cheaper than that. My friend got the same and someone came out to try to smoke it for her, with our waitress saying "wow you were able to get it to smoke?" I would have loved to know that it cant be smoked so I would have ordered a cheaper drink. The spinach dip was nice but could be bigger but the table bread was tasty. We moved inside for our reservation and were sat in the bar area. Our server started strong, getting our drink orders, etc but she was once again confused by the menu when I ordered a Surfside canned cocktail (on the menu and I pointed to it). Instead she came out with a normal iced tea and then when I corrected her, she was asking what alcohol I wanted which once again, is on the menu. After our drinks, we ordered two salads (they were out of the pear one) and the caesar was good. Then we lost the waitress for a while to order our pizzas, and when we ordered a bottle of champagne she was once again confused (there are two options on the menu). Maybe she is new but I found the behavior a little strange. We had three pizzas, the pepperoni, the margarita, and the fire and smoke- skip on the first too. They are the most generic and basic tasting pizzas I have had in a while (especially when there are so many options out there now). The fire and smoke was the only original and tasty one. We also ordered the 6 sliders and it came out with 9- cant complain on that and the burgers were good but the onions were on the undercooked side. Then we could not find anyone to order dessert with (we are now 2 hours into a dinner). They were out of key lime pie so we got two brownie desserts and it was pretty generic but good. Then we couldn't find our waitress to close out with and when we finally flagged someone down, the other waitress rolled her eyes at us like it was an annoyance we wanted to leave after our 3 hour adventure at this spot. We just paid with one card and wanted the receipt so we could split it later on- the waitress never came back with it. We had to go up to the bar to ask and we saw 2 individuals attempting to print one receipt....I am so sorry, this is not rocket science here. Food- mediocre at best. Service- god awful (Saturday night with 4 hours spent here). Drinks- overpriced and not even smoked. Save your money.

We took a look at it and thought it looked good. So...we headed there for a Saturday dinner. Upon entering, we noticed that there was no host stand. A server called out to us and said "sit wherever you want", which we did. I'm never comfortable with places that have you sit where you want. If no one notices that a customer came in and sat down, it could take a while until you get noticed. The same server approached us and gave us menus. We had noticed that the online menu mentioned sandwiches. There were none listed on the menus we got. When the server came back, she said sandwiches were on the lunch menu and she got us that menu. For starters, we got drinks. I had a "virgin mojito" mocktail while my husband tried to order a beer (I forget which one) but they were out. The server recommended one called "Crazy Pils Beer", which he agreed to try. For dinner, I ordered a BLT and for my side "old bay French fries". My husband got the "Potomac Taphouse burger", also with "old bay French fries". The place struck us as understaffed. Our server was also doubling as a bartender. Fortunately, only a few people were sitting at the bar. She mixed up my mocktail. It was bitter as I think she may have left out the "simple syrup". My husband liked his beer. The kitchen was very slow despite the fact that there weren't many customers Here's why I can't give them a higher rating --- When the food came, the fries had an awful smell that was really off putting. We reluctantly tasted them and noticed that there was no old bay seasoning at all---just bland fries. Neither of us could figure out what the awful smell was. I had to push them aside while I ate my BLT. The BLT was fine---it had good portions of lettuce and tomato, plus the amount of bacon and mayo was decent. My husband thought his burger was okay. He was pleased that there was onion on it. After our food was dropped off, the place got busier so our server couldn't be as attentive. We never got to point out the awful smelling fries. Needless to say, we won't return. Those memories of the fries will stay with us.
