We ordered our son's kid's meal first, before we ordered our apps, but it came out after our entree's which was closer to 7:15. I assume the kid's meal coming out late was an awful server mistake, I can't imagine it would take over an hour to make a burger and fry up some potatoes. The chef was nice enough to let us order the octopus from the tasting menu (it was the only reason we came here, didn't realize it was part of the tasting). I almost did order the 5 course tasting menu, because it looked really good- but I'm so thankful I didn't. The table behind us was seated before us and by the time we left he was only on his third course. I'm also always cold but it was really warm in the restaurant. Not sure if their ac was broken or if it couldn't keep up with the weather. Not knocking the restaurant for this, things happen. But they probably could've used another few fans. We were the one table in the middle so the air wasn't getting to us. Not knocking the restaurant at all for this, it's a hot hot summer and things like this happen. The kid's meal portion was huge, actually bigger than my gnocchi order. We also ordered the brussels, pork ribs, seared tuna, tagliatelle, branzino, and pork chop. The pork chop was the most memorable thing. Based on this experience we wouldn't come back here on our own. Lo and behold, a few friends of mine told me the same thing happened to them when they tried to pick up catering for a Fourth of July party, including the fact that, both times, when we called to ask for a refund, the people on the phone were rude & horrendous, and refused to refund us & apologize to us for the miscommunication because they claimed it was "for the chef's time", which means we wasted hundreds of dollars we can never get back on food that was never made, which is criminal. Who runs a business like that?!?! It's not our fault that they failed to communicate with us! To say I dare say that I encourage anyone who reads this here review to boycott Sully's is an understatement.
