Chicken and waffle. The rest is on other plate.

Had Sunday lunch today with mixed results. Ordered chicken and waffles and coffee. The coffee was either old or too strong which I can cope with. While the chicken was beautiful and fantastic, the sausage gravy with zero chunks of sausage was so awful and tasteless it was disappointing. Hardly ate any of the good as the gravy was all over everything. Mentioned it to our wonderful waitress who should have either offered a piece of chicken without gravy or no charge for mostly untouched meal but that didn't happen. No to the wise : consider getting the chicken and waffles without gravy. Note to this wonderful restaurant: please reconsider your gravy recipe.

The people of Reston love Red's Table so I had to give it a try. We went on a Saturday night and they only had bar seating available, so definitely make a reservation. For dinner, I got the Chesapeake Bay crab bisque which was creamy and delicious. I also got an order of mussels that I haven't stopped thinking about. The white wine sauce they were cooked in, I could drink. The portion size was great, I got a lot of mussels. It was very good, next time I want to sit on the patio and look over the lake.

Stunning lake side view at the patio. Requested for one after making a reservation the day before and managed to snag a nice lakeside seating for a Saturday evening. The wait in between food was a bit long but other than that, everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and I've been meaning to try out this spot after moving to the area. So glad that I did!

We used Red's Table private dining room for HS graduation dinner. Food was fantastic (i.e. crab cakes, cobb salad, burger sliders, grilled and fried chicken strips, pasta, and chocolate cake). Highly recommend for all your event needs. Special thanks to owner, Ryan Tracy, who quickly reserving the room and for Dom, our server, for making sure we had a great time!

A modern lakefront restaurant nestled in a busy shopping area. It's officially fall so the fall foliage is in full Autumn mode. This restaurant was massive in size. I noted that it had 3 separate dinning areas, an indoor, outdoor and indoor patio area and the architect designed all areas around the view of the lake so no matter where you were sat, even at the bar, you still had a great view of the lake. The staff was extremely nice and gave helpful recommendations on what to order .8 ended up ordering an espresso martini, shrimp saffron pasta and a brownie Sunday. The espresso martini was made using heated milk, espresso, cinnamon and other natural ingredients with a shot of their smooth house vodka native to Virginia. The shrimp saffron pasta was delicious, smooth, creamy saffron sauce with squash, sliced olives, Parmesan and some spinach. It gave a bold, eastern Italian taste that I thought wouldn't get unless I returned to Italy. The brownie was very decadent, homemade ice cream. It was more of a cake like brownie but still had that flaky top. Classic!! I met the owner while dinning as he noticed how appreciative I was was with every bite I took of the pasta and so he walked over and had a chat with me around the pasta item. It was neat hearing how he had come up with the idea! Parking: free and plenty all around the lot that is located right outside of the establishment.

We are regulars at Red's Table, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. For appetizers, we've tried the clam chowder, bang bang shrimp, and crab dip. Each one has been excellent. Our go-to entrée is the market steak with Brussels sprouts and potatoes, and honestly, we've never had a better steak dinner anywhere. We've traveled quite a bit in search of the best, and Red's Table wins--1000%. We've also had the Cobb salad (amazing), chicken sandwich, and burger, and there hasn't been a single dish we didn't enjoy. Everything comes out on time, cooked just right, and we always leave completely satisfied. The service is just as impressive as the food. The entire staff is polite, welcoming, and attentive. Meridith, who has been our server multiple times, is incredible!!! She even remembers our order from memory, which makes every visit feel personal. The atmosphere is another highlight. The back patio is absolutely gorgeous with views overlooking the lake, and there's also a side patio that offers a really nice view as well. We genuinely look forward to our biweekly dinners here. And one more thing, the coconut brown ale is outstanding, easily the best beer in town!! I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure the patio is open and available, as it tends to book up quickly. All in all, if you haven't been to Red's Table yet, you are making a big mistake.

We entered through the distillery, which was hopping, and slid into the secret cubbyhole that led to heirloom. The noisy World Cup crowd immediately silenced as we walked to the bar. It was like being in a completely different atmosphere. You can see from the photos attached that the meal was /cr B/ /ump I/ Teges. We started out with these great appetizers. I make a Barada burst at home, we learned in Italy how to do it. Yours was one of the best I've ever had. Same with the lemon ricotta ravioli. It's like we were in Sicily again. Sitting at the bar, we decided sure why not have their best steak? And we did. And it was. This was a Prime Kansas City strip, 18 ounce bone in. on top, a buttery braised shallot. Cooked to perfection, tasty and buttery. Our sides were these nice parmesan crispy, layered potatoes and a delightful grilled leaf spinach. We were a little disappointed we had no room for dessert. But we will be back! The service was spectacular. Sitting at the bar, it was like we had two personal servers and a third on standby at all times. It was fun watching them make the drinks, there is a lot of attention to detail. If you have not tried heirloom, I cannot recommend it more highly. We look forward to returning!

Come on, that's an instant five stars in my book. We ended up talking wine with him for a good part of the afternoon. He had us sample a few different pours before we landed on a Nebbiolo we loved. Later, after another conversation about wine, he brought over a taste of a white we'd never even heard of because he thought we'd enjoy trying it. It never felt like an upsell. It just felt like talking with someone who genuinely enjoys wine and likes sharing it with people. Relaxing patio, great food, excellent cocktails, and genuinely memorable service. Nothing exceptional but good quality, good food And a fair amount of steak in mine for $16. I wish I could say the same about the service or lack there of provided by the two young female servers. For starters, they have zero communication skills. They drop things at the table and just stand there without a word. I did not receive the Vietnamese coffee that I ordered until I asked for it nor was I asked whether or not I wanted it with whipped cream - there's was no description on the menu so I wasn't aware it came with whipped cream. When we placed our order we asked for extra cilantro and received no cilantro at all. Once the runner delivered our food no one came over to ask how everything had turned out, if we needed anything else etc. The lack of communication, lack of attention to detail and quite frankly complete lack of personality turned a pleasant afternoon meal into a disappointment. It's a shame because I saw several other things on the menu that I'd like to try but I'm not interested in being in that unpleasant atmosphere again

I would recommend a reservation because with rain outside aka the patio being closed, the whole inside was packed. A lot of the seats are super close which feels very European but you can hear most peoples conversations which can be annoying. Our waitress was really sweet and stopped by a bunch. We started with French 75's, hot coffee, and an espresso martini. The drinks were refreshing and quite large for the price. The espresso martini really reminded me of a grown up hot chocolate, I really enjoyed it. I later also got a cucumber vodka martini and it was one of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had - definitely the drink of the summer. For our food we started with the baked brie with fig and garlic and the escargot. The brie was a unique take on baked brie, I loved the way the flavors all melded and the fact the cheese wasn't completely spilling out everywhere. The escargot was soft with a phenomenal crumb/butter mix, the whole things really melded well and melted in your mouth. The bread served with it was nice as well, if only I had a bit more of it. For our mains we were here during brunch so we got the lobster omelet and the French onion soup with the side of fries. The french onion soup was great, a good amount of cheese and onions without being overwhelming. Fries were fantastic and quite large, a big portion for $7. I was here twice over the last two months. The first time, I ordered off the regular menu. The second time, I did the AYCE dim sum/tapas. Obviously, ordering a la carte, you'll get larger portions. It was all fantastic. The server was attentive and friendly. Dishes came out lightning fast. And the food itself was stellar! I'll let the photos speak for themselves. You can't go wrong here, especially if you're getting one of the AYCE specials (there's a similar one at Mama Chang's). I want to note though, three of the dishes have the same flavor profile, just different main ingredients: spicy dry fish, spicy dry cauliflower, and dry fried spicy eggplant. They use dry fried red chili and ground Szechuan peppercorn. If you like this, great! Just know it's the same seasoning across these dishes. I didn't take photos of everything, but if it's braised pork xxxx, get it! I will gladly return to this location or Mama Chang's for another AYCE adventure.

The duck roll was amazing and fresh, flavorful, great execution. The cucumber salad was refreshing and perfectly balanced. But the Mongolian chicken was phenomenal. Staff was accommodating when we wanted to customize it, and it came out exactly how we wanted and crispy outside, tender inside, loaded with flavor. Service is attentive and willing to work with you. Quality ingredients, skilled preparation, and attention to detail throughout. This is serious Chinese cooking. Highly recommend.
