It was our first time at Red's Table. We discovered it by searching for "dog-friendly outdoor patios" here on Yelp. I was so excited to see a restaurant on the water! We made a reservation, but I decided to call since we were bringing a dog-to make sure we got a good table. Luckily I did, because the woman who answered the phone was surprised. She mentioned that sometimes people showed up with dogs; but were turned away, because they actually weren't dog-friendly. She hadn't realized that the mistake was displayed on their website, and therefore linked to other sites. She was so gracious, however, when I expressed that we would still come without the dog; and that I'd love to sit at a table right by the water! She mentioned that the tables outside were first come, first served; but thanked me for letting her know about the website mistake, and promised us a great table. We arrived and they were busy and the hostesses seemed very stressed. I'm sure it was due to the nice weather. There were two hostesses-One may have been the one I spoke with earlier, but I'm not certain. The other was unfriendly which was a bit off-putting. I mentioned I'd spoken with someone earlier & explained the situation. After some confusion, and a short wait, that hostess led us to an outdoor table. Unfortunately, it was furthest away from the water, and we couldn't see the water well while seated. We asked a couple times to move as we saw tables by the water being cleared. But we were told no, as others were waiting. We were hoping that we could move and someone who had been there before or didn't care about the view could have our table, since it would've still been outside: Win-win. But when I approached the hostess, I was met with the same unfriendliness, and it felt uncomfortable for a first experience/impression. We could understand the scenario, but would've appreciated better customer service -a smile, or perhaps an apologetic dismissal of the request. We still enjoyed our meal and our server was wonderful. I would love to see one or two more vegetarian options, as they were limited. We loved the Goat Cheese Fritter appetizer. My mushroom/rolled oat burger was ok, but I would not get it again. My cocktail was a "Reds Cosmo" which featured a touch of Rosemary, and it was perfect. We would probably try this restaurant once more, maybe for brunch, in hopes of an all around positive experience, and for a chance to sit by the water because the view is really what sets this place apart! I walked over to the railing to get a picture before we left. There is also an outdoor area next to the restaurant, where we could've ordered take-out and sat; which is just a public use area. We didn't see it until we were leaving, but we could've had our water view there, potentially.

A modern lakefront restaurant nestled in a busy shopping area. It's officially fall so the fall foliage is in full Autumn mode. This restaurant was massive in size. I noted that it had 3 separate dinning areas, an indoor, outdoor and indoor patio area and the architect designed all areas around the view of the lake so no matter where you were sat, even at the bar, you still had a great view of the lake. The staff was extremely nice and gave helpful recommendations on what to order .8 ended up ordering an espresso martini, shrimp saffron pasta and a brownie Sunday. The espresso martini was made using heated milk, espresso, cinnamon and other natural ingredients with a shot of their smooth house vodka native to Virginia. The shrimp saffron pasta was delicious, smooth, creamy saffron sauce with squash, sliced olives, Parmesan and some spinach. It gave a bold, eastern Italian taste that I thought wouldn't get unless I returned to Italy. The brownie was very decadent, homemade ice cream. It was more of a cake like brownie but still had that flaky top. Classic!! I met the owner while dinning as he noticed how appreciative I was was with every bite I took of the pasta and so he walked over and had a chat with me around the pasta item. It was neat hearing how he had come up with the idea! Parking: free and plenty all around the lot that is located right outside of the establishment.

My mom and I came for lunch. The food was AMAZING! Hot and flavorful. We are inside but the outside was beautiful. The drinks were iykyk. Will definitely be back for lunch and to try the brunch. The ladies were super nice too!

Red's is one of my favorite restaurants in Reston! I live nearby, so I often come here for summer nights by the water or to sit in the bar area and watch a game (although they only have 2 tvs so this isn't necessarily a sports bar atmosphere). I recently reserved their private party space and can't say enough good things about it! The staff was so incredibly helpful; they got us a drink while we set up, learned every single attendee's name and who their partner was to manage multiple tabs, and were so quick with service. Lastly- the food! I have never had a bad thing here, but their crab dip, clam chowder, cobb salad, and fried chicken sandwich are some of my most ordered. The serving sizes are generous, so I recommend ordering a few things and sharing to try more!

There's a reason this place has so many loyal regulars. I'm here about twice a week, drawn in by the consistently friendly service and the excellent food and beverage program. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance--elegant without ever feeling pretentious--making it ideal for locals, families, and professionals meeting over business meals. Pricing is right in line with comparable restaurants in the area, but the quality here is noticeably higher. Their monthly dinner events, in particular, are an incredible value and showcase just how much care goes into the menu. And of course, the lake view is truly special. Red's Table is one of the very few restaurants in Northern Virginia with genuine waterfront dining, and this view outshines all the others. It's a uniquely beautiful setting that elevates every visit.

    Red's Patio searing.

Red's Table Brunch is a must for Sundays!! The food, drinks and service are excellent! Highly recommend the blueberry pancakes!

Server Kelly M. took our order for a Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza and a glass of red wine (light meal). A different person delivered the salad and pizza to us, and the food was good. However, we never saw Kelly from the time she took our order until we finished eating. She then showed up with an empty wine glass, said the wine order did not get put in, and asked if I still wanted it. I said "no" since we were done with our meal. At that time, I requested the Cheesecake w/cherries for my complimentary dessert, a small box for pizza, and the check. More than 20 minutes later, Kelly brought a box and the check, but no dessert. She then asked if I "had decided" on a dessert. I repeated that I would like Cheesecake with cherries. After nearly 30 minutes there was no sign of our waitress and no dessert. We were not happy at this point, left cash payment on the table, and walked out. We have eaten at Reston 60 Vines multiple times. No complaints about previous visits; food and service were very good. However, due to the long waits, inattention, and mistakes by our server on this visit, we were very disappointed. We felt management should be aware of this so they can correct the problem. I'm sure you expect better from your employees. We will have to think twice about dining on your patio this summer. Linda

In comparison to our most frequented Ashburn outpost, the interior here feels more cozy and old school rather than bright and modern. Despite a very busy dining and waiting room, the host sat us almost immediately during peak hours at a generously sized booth, a nice touch given we had our infant son in tow. The food here tasted consistent with what we have had at other locations of Ted's. While the food here does not necessarily amaze the palate, it is executed competently and the large menu caters to a variety of tastes with some creative, global touches. My wife always selects the Turkish eggs, which comprise a trio of poached eggs swimming in a garlicky yogurt and topped with piquant chili oil. The dish makes for a light, fresh breakfast with plenty of flavor. I opted for a Sichuan hot chicken sandwich. The cripsy, juicy chicken breast coated in a heavily seasoned chili dunk yielded a surprisingly flavorful bite. Despite the chicken quality, I did not love the sweet American style coleslaw that topped the sandwich nor the limp fries that arrived alongside. Service ran smoothly, as our waitress promptly took our orders, remained available throughout service, and even subbed out my wife's latte for no charge when she found the taste too sweet. Prices here are about $15-20 per entree which is standard for the Town Center and reasonable given portion sizes. Overall, Ted's remains a reliable option for a satisfying and consistent lunch or brunch, and we are glad to have a location so nearby.

We got to Reston Town Center, it took a few minutes to get thru the intersections waiting for the pedestrians to cross, got a parking spot in front of Capital Burger and proceeded to walk down with my 88 yr old mother only to arrive to find the doors locked. As we were looking in trying to figure out what was going on, a young girl (I'm assuming she was the hostess) opens the door and says, "we're closed, we closed at 3, there's a sign right there"....I asked, why was I allowed to make a reservation at 3 if you were closing at that time? The time I was trying to get in the door was 3:03pm. She responded, "oh, you have a reservation?", I said yes, at 3pm....she then responded, "well, you're late, you had to be inside the door at 3pm" and closed the door and locked it again. I looked at my 88 year old mom, in case you didn't catch that the 1st time, and said what a rude, you know what, this girl was, and we proceeded to walk back to the car. Never, EVER, will I come back to this restaurant. During the warm season I enjoy eating outside while reading and sipping my coffee. Sometimes, I just sit and watch the cars and people walk by with their dogs. This was the most delicious healthy food I've ever had! I always get it to go so I can't say much about the service or ambiance other than the fact that they are always kind and never get an order wrong. I ordered a lot the first time because I wanted to have a good idea of what the quality was with True Food Kitchen. I ordered their guacamole with flatbread which was perfectly tangy and fresh and has 6g of protein and only 330 calories! Even if I ate the whole thing by myself I wouldn't feel guilty. I would say that the flatbread is a bit bland but other than that it's a pretty good starter especially for those macros. I give it a 3.5/5 Next I had the Edamame Dumplings which has white truffle oil, dashi, thai basil, sesame seeds, has 12g of protein and is only 270 calories!! This one was bursting with flavor in every bite, from the mouth watering truffle flavor in the sauce to the dumplings which tasted as indulgent as mashed potatoes, this was probably one of my favorites at True food Kitchen. I would rate it a 5/5 for sure! For sides I had the cheesy mashed potatoes which has 5g of protein and only 200 cals. I would say these are decent but not my favorite as it had a flavor I didn't quite like, but still is a good option for those not as picky as me. I would rate it a 2.5/5 Next I had the kale salad, and OMG it was amazing! I usually hate kale but True Food Kitchen's kale salad is so good that I actually would eat this every day! It has Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs and a perfectly blended lemon based dressing which is so good I scrape the bowl clean. It's also only got 120 calories and 3g of protein for the huge portion, so it's super healthy for you, and filling. I rate this a 5/5 Don't forget to get the Kale aid as a drink as well, which has organic kale, ginger, organic apple, celery, cucumber, and lemon and is only 100 calories. It's very refreshing and the flavor is so good you don't taste the greens. It's a 5/5 for sure! Lastly and one of my all time favorites here is the Turkey Burger which has Diestel Farms turkey, smoked gouda, avocado, tomato, butter lettuce, jalapeño remoulade, and their TFK house special sauce. The turkey by itself is delicious and such a huge portion! It's perfectly spiced and doesn't need anything else, though the other ingredients are fresh (I love that they have butter lettuce so it's a nice texture, plus it's tasty), their tomatoes are always red and top notch. But omg we need to talk about their sauces! The house sauce is delicious! It's unique to their store, but kind of like a mayo ketchup blend but more sophisticated. The jalapeño remoulade is tangy and addicting but not spicy despite the name. I love that they have two unique sauces on one burger! To top it off the whole thing has only 600 calories and a whopping 43g of protein! Talk about nutrition goals! It's definitely a 5/5 for me! TLDR: True Food Kitchen is truly healthy food that will leave your mouth watering! Every bite is a joy, and still keeps you on track with your healthy goals. The prices aren't bad, but definitely more than fast food for sure. The service is always great and this is one of my new favorite places to eat! Definitely recommend!

Not ordering a mountain of them. * Longanisa breakfast sandwich: solid and yummy, but I wouldn't write my lola about it. Egg cooked to perfection though! * Silog breakfast bowl: oh. my. GAWD. Flavor bomb! The garlic fried rice, tender pork, egg, and peppers all danced together like they were meant to be. I'd come back just for that bowl - and the lumpia, of course.
