Cozy spot but packed with goodness. So much delectables at the counter and a full sandwich menu too! Came in for quick stop of bagel & coffee on brrr April morning - honestly better than Starbucks and cheaper!

Weekends are made for lazy mornings and delicious omelettes. Today, we tried three new omelettes; the Greek omelette, the Western omelette, and the French omelette. The Greek omelette was filled with spinach and feta cheese. It was served with a side of tasty home fried potatoes. It was scrumptious. The French omelette included crispy fried onions, sautéed mushrooms and Swiss cheese. It was so good. It was also served with yummy home fried potatoes. The Western omelette included Canadian bacon, green onions, red and green pepper and cheddar cheese. It was so tasty. And, it also came with the same great home fried potatoes. We also ordered a gyro platter, for my granddaughter. She loved the meat. Instead of the pita, she put it on a bagel. : ) We also ordered an assortment of bagels, which were enjoyable too. Service was great. We ordered on the phone and it was ready for us, when we arrived. It was packaged well for the trip home. It is a bagel cafe with a comfortable ambiance and lots of choices. We usually order bagel sandwiches, but today we changed things up with the omelettes, and I am really glad we did. Service was great.

Love, love, love bagel cafe. The food coming out of here is always delicious and consistent. Ever since the first time my fiancée brought me, I've loved the bagel sandwiches here. My go to is normally the sausage, egg and cheese but I've also done bacon, egg and cheese. You can't go wrong with any of the bagel options. The jalapeño, cheddar cheese, everything bagel, plain, onion, etc all go well on a sandwich. For just a bagel and some cream cheese, the chocolate and blueberry bagels are amazing. The omelettes are also very good and you can't go wrong with any of them. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The same guy has been working the register for years now. I'm not sure if he's the owner or manager or what, but he's always a friendly face to greet us! The food also comes out fairly quickly. The ambiance is casual and reminiscent of a little bagel shop in NYC. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside (weather permitting).

This place SLAPS (slang for hits the spot )! I've been coming here for years and I've never had a bad experience. The only thing that sucks about this place is the tremendous wait on weekends. Everything is amazing and made fresh including their bagels. My go tos are the bagel sandwiches and omelets. I always like to get their chocolate bagel for little snack or dessert. Overall highly recommend this spot. There's parking out front, but seating is hard to get. The inside is fairly tiny and it's not great for groups.

Bright cute shop. I had very nice and very quick service. Was not super busy. I think it's a bit overpriced for what it is. The bagel and cc were decent enough. Consistency of the bagel was good. I'm a tourist in these parts so not sure if there's better in the area.

I don't recommend going on the weekend, very busy, in fact the first time I went was on a Saturday, it was so packed that I could barely see the selection, but judging from the crowd I knew I wanted to come back. So I went during the week for breakfast, still busy but not super packed. Lots of bagels to choose from. I purchased strawberry, blueberry, and chocolate chip to bring home. All were very good, strawberry my favorite of the 3. I got a breakfast sandwich and coffee to eat, coffee very good, sandwich was good, Service was great, everyone kind and helpful. Spacious and lots of seating when not super packed. I will definitely go again.

Stopped by the Bagel Shop in downtown Herndon on Nov' 23. I had the Ham and Cheese on Everything Bagel. Sat outside and enjoyed it. Taste was very good, everything bagel had large salt which was just perfect. The bagel sandwich as a whole, it can be viewed as a treatise to an ideal breakfast incorporating bagel, cheese, and ham. That is, a near-perfect combination of protein and healthiness for a first meal of the day. I enjoyed it and ate it slowly and languorously. Savored each bite. Actually tasted the meat (ham or turkey, both are good!), and the bagel, and the salt and seasoning, and even the cheese. This is how an ideal bagel sandwich is meant to be eaten / enjoyed! Savor each bite as if it were the last. This is what makes it worthy to pay out of pocket for a breakfast, especially one you could have easily cooked up yourself! Also I purchased a 6-pack of bagels (everything, have to try other flavors) as well as some cream cheese spreads (chocolate chip and cinnamon something). Liked the CC spread but it's a bit too sweet / sugary for me. Still great tasting. Not sure of the nutritional content of the bagels, but the everything bagel is pretty spot on. I usually don't like everything bagels, so when a shop does it right and you start liking everything bagel, that's when you know they onto something. Overall, awesome breakfast spot in downtown Herndon. I live relatively close by, so I'll likely be back again. Looking forward to it!

Lots of options, quick service, and a lot of outdoor seating. The fresh squeezed OJ appears to be really popular, as it should be. I'm not a bagel expert, but it seems like one of the better places to get a bagel in the area. I full on experimented and got a bacon egg and cheese on a strawberry bagel. Usually, I get a blueberry bagel but I just was having fun. Still was happy with how it tasted.

The bar area is self-seating.I chose to sit in the bar area...the only remaining big table with high chairs/table...it was packed! The happy hour is pretty awesome here. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 pm, which is pretty awesome, starting early and ending late. There is also a power hour from 3-6, where everything on the happy hour menu is $5, which is a little early!! The menu includes regular bar food and a variety of drinks (as shown in the picture). We ordered the following: -Let that "man"go - in general it's an iced drink, so I'd avoid. -Spicy pina marg - another iced drink. It was ok. -I'm Ron Burgundy (2x)- this had a nice strong coffee flavor, doesn't come with ice; I would highly recommend it...they made it so good!!! -Maker's mini nachos - There proportion of chips to toppings was off there wasn't enough toppings and too many chips, but there was a lot of cheese. -Calamari was a good portion, and tasty -Chicken tenders - they were delicious and moist There are so many items to choose from on the power hour/happy hour menu. I would definitely recommend lil B and the wings. There was live music, which was just way too loud for such a small space. We would have been okay with all the music. There is plenty of parking available in nearby garages, I believe free after 5pm. There is also timed/paid parallel parking. Would I return? definitely!

Server Kelly M. took our order for a Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza and a glass of red wine (light meal). A different person delivered the salad and pizza to us, and the food was good. However, we never saw Kelly from the time she took our order until we finished eating. She then showed up with an empty wine glass, said the wine order did not get put in, and asked if I still wanted it. I said "no" since we were done with our meal. At that time, I requested the Cheesecake w/cherries for my complimentary dessert, a small box for pizza, and the check. More than 20 minutes later, Kelly brought a box and the check, but no dessert. She then asked if I "had decided" on a dessert. I repeated that I would like Cheesecake with cherries. After nearly 30 minutes there was no sign of our waitress and no dessert. We were not happy at this point, left cash payment on the table, and walked out. We have eaten at Reston 60 Vines multiple times. No complaints about previous visits; food and service were very good. However, due to the long waits, inattention, and mistakes by our server on this visit, we were very disappointed. We felt management should be aware of this so they can correct the problem. I'm sure you expect better from your employees. We will have to think twice about dining on your patio this summer. Linda

In comparison to our most frequented Ashburn outpost, the interior here feels more cozy and old school rather than bright and modern. Despite a very busy dining and waiting room, the host sat us almost immediately during peak hours at a generously sized booth, a nice touch given we had our infant son in tow. The food here tasted consistent with what we have had at other locations of Ted's. While the food here does not necessarily amaze the palate, it is executed competently and the large menu caters to a variety of tastes with some creative, global touches. My wife always selects the Turkish eggs, which comprise a trio of poached eggs swimming in a garlicky yogurt and topped with piquant chili oil. The dish makes for a light, fresh breakfast with plenty of flavor. I opted for a Sichuan hot chicken sandwich. The cripsy, juicy chicken breast coated in a heavily seasoned chili dunk yielded a surprisingly flavorful bite. Despite the chicken quality, I did not love the sweet American style coleslaw that topped the sandwich nor the limp fries that arrived alongside. Service ran smoothly, as our waitress promptly took our orders, remained available throughout service, and even subbed out my wife's latte for no charge when she found the taste too sweet. Prices here are about $15-20 per entree which is standard for the Town Center and reasonable given portion sizes. Overall, Ted's remains a reliable option for a satisfying and consistent lunch or brunch, and we are glad to have a location so nearby.

We got to Reston Town Center, it took a few minutes to get thru the intersections waiting for the pedestrians to cross, got a parking spot in front of Capital Burger and proceeded to walk down with my 88 yr old mother only to arrive to find the doors locked. As we were looking in trying to figure out what was going on, a young girl (I'm assuming she was the hostess) opens the door and says, "we're closed, we closed at 3, there's a sign right there"....I asked, why was I allowed to make a reservation at 3 if you were closing at that time? The time I was trying to get in the door was 3:03pm. She responded, "oh, you have a reservation?", I said yes, at 3pm....she then responded, "well, you're late, you had to be inside the door at 3pm" and closed the door and locked it again. I looked at my 88 year old mom, in case you didn't catch that the 1st time, and said what a rude, you know what, this girl was, and we proceeded to walk back to the car. Never, EVER, will I come back to this restaurant. On Christmas Eve, telling me that because it was 3:03pm, which I don't believe that the reservation should have even been taken if 3pm was your closing time, that I could not be served and to have the door shut in my face. I was grabbing to go - order taker was friendly and pleasant and my sandwich was made quickly. The rub for me though was how skimpy and anemic the bfast sandwich was! I took a pic of my sandwich and I'm sorry I didn't take the picture with something to show scale. First and foremost - Einstein bagels have gotten significantly smaller in all around size. What the HELL happened?? Dudes - you aren't fooling anyone with your version of shrinkflation! Laughable, the size of their bagels! Second - to add insult to injury - the bacon, egg and cheese portions in the bagel sando were skimpy as all get out! THIN SLIVERS OF EACH. Check out my photo. I will say that they do ask you if you want 1 or 2 eggs in your BEC sandwich - yesssss I chose 1 egg but ASSumed that 1 egg would be plenty enough. I mean "1 egg" is never really 1 egg, right?!!! WRONGGGGGGG. My reaction to that silly "1 or 2 eggs?" question is - c'mon Einstein - don't ask - just put a decent portion of eggs in the sandwich - it all comes out in the wash and you make your profit whether it's 1 or 2 eggs if you do it right and train your workers. (Anyway, with your shrinkflation-ed bagels, you should be able to afford to put more BEC in the sandwich and still maintain the illusion that the sando is stuffed to the gills. lol.) #eyeroll My goodness - dare I say - McDonald's makes a better and heartier bfast sando (for better value) than this place. First time back since pre-covid and sadly my last. With even fast casual joints fighting for every dollar in consumers' pockets, Einstein you need to show us decent value for our money - this ain't it. BIG RIP OFF AND NOT WORTH THE PRICE THEY CHARGE.
