Very hard to find...it doesn't have the same logo as the other spots in the plaza. You have to take these stairs upstairs that are indicated from a teeny tiny sign. The cashier wasn't welcoming and seemed annoyed. The pastries were stale. The decor seemed tacky as well. Trying out a new coffee shop in Reston, Simply Social, and it did not disappoint! The shop is located in a strip mall, so parking is easy and not a problem. You have to go up the stairs to reach the entrance, because it is located on the second floor. The atmosphere inside is bright and welcoming, with plenty of seating whether you want to hang out with friends, read a book, or get some work done. The coffee and pastries were also excellent. I ordered an oat milk latte, and I loved that you can still taste the natural bitterness of the coffee instead of it being completely masked by the oat milk. Perfect companion for the butter croissant I ordered. It also came with a delicious waffle cookie on the side, which was a nice little treat with the coffee. The only thing I wish is that the coffee were served in a mug when dining in, but they mentioned that they plan to offer that eventually. Other than that the service is great! I didn't have to wait for a long time. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can come back and sit outside on their patio while sipping my coffee. Tried the waffle breakfast here and it did not disappoint! The waffles were crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside -- just perfect. They came topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and a drizzle of honey that added the right amount of sweetness. I also got a side of sausage, which paired really well with the waffles. The space here is much bigger than the Fairfax location and way more decorative -- bright, stylish, and super cozy. It has a fun vibe that makes you want to stay and hang out for a bit. The waffles took about 10 minutes to make, but honestly, totally worth the wait once you take that first bite. And best of all? This location is only 5 minutes from my workplace, so I already know I'll be coming back often for my breakfast fix! read more

Loving their new location. A lil bit out of my way, but when I have business on this side of NoVA or just want to work from a quiet shop, I choose this one. Their food is so healthy and fresh and filling. You really can't go wrong, what ever you try. For the drinks, it takes a while to choose what you might like. They drinks are great - I stick to my london Fog and sometimes get curious and slip for a red eye chai. The place is stunning from ascetics perspective. Warm and cozy like coming over to a friends house - where you def want to try out all the seats as they are not all the same. Bird cage, to studying couch or a cute nook loft hide away. There is something for everything space wise to collab, or discuss business, take a afternoon off to work from outside the house. read more

It could be a little confusing to find at first but there were sign to head up the stairs and find the coffee shop and you'll be right on the outdoor patio. Love the love the ambiance and decor as you walked in, cozy couches, a swing chair, and plenty of seatings with a glass fireplace. It gives you that warm cozy vibes. Only here for a little bit to get one of the Fall special drinks and choose iced Creme Brulee special latte. Welcoming and smiley service all around, she even brought up my drink to me as I walked away few mins to the bathroom. Wonderful new addition to the neighborhood! Bright and spacious interior with scenic outdoor seating with views of the golf course. Lattes were delicious and staff were super friendly. They even brought your order to your table. Only downside is there is no ramp to access the cafe (or at least I couldn't find it) The cafe can only be accessed via a set of stairs. read more

I got the spinach and avocado salad here with a friend who got the chicken quesadilla and we both enjoyed our food! The food was tasty with a generous portion of dressing and avocado with high quality chicken. The service was excellent with a lovely person at register and spacious interior. There are no cups of water and you would have to buy a bottle of water or bring your own water bottle for the fountain-the cheapest water bottle is a dollar each. I would definitely would be interested in returning :) Like the other reviews are mentioning, the location is a bit difficult to find compared to other nearby businesses without its own large sign-it's between Sunrise Valley Center and Elite Supermarket on the second floor. I took the stairs up and not sure how accessible it would be to those in a wheelchair or who cannot climb stairs easily. read more

TLDR: good little cafe with solid food and drink options. My wife and I had been to the location in the Fairfax area before and it was really good. So we had an idea of what to expect coming into this new location. I just got a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It's a solid sandwich for a reasonable price. I didn't get a coffee this time but I remember it being okay last time. Mind you I get a black coffee, no cream or sugar so idk what their lattes or cappuccinos taste like. The ambiance here is fairly open and inviting. There's a little fireplace on the right when you walk in. There's some seating but not a ton. There's an upstairs area that I'm not sure if they're planning on using but it would definitely add a cool little focus area if they did. The service was pretty quick for a Saturday morning. read more

But i checked out their new place at Reston, soo much closer, and it was amazing! We got the usual: iced vanilla latte, caramel latte, and pastries, all which were DELICIOUS! Although they use a specific type of oatmilk that leaves a noticeable note on the overall flavor, it sill reigns as one of the best coffee shops in nova! Super excited to live nearby to this new location. It's spacious, clean and inviting. I love the fireplace set up. I want to come here to work one day because they have free Wi-Fi. They also have a nice outdoor area so you can sip your coffee in the sunshine. The service was fast and friendly. I really like their coffee and they offer a full menu of food as well. Coffee is pretty good. I just had a bagel, but other food selections look nice, with typical prices. Friendly staff. The vibe is bright and open, maybe a little more harsh feeling than cozy vibes. Music choices were not great for me. Some nice tunes mixed in with hard rock before 10am on a weekday. That's the wrong vibe for morning coffee for me. Also a pet peeve - when eating in, I prefer a real cup and maybe a plate. Everything is paper cups and paper wrapping even to eat in. Maybe not an issue for others.... Parking is very easy, so that's a plus, or more typical cafe tables. Couches and cushy chairs available. Boosting by one star here because when the weather gets better the outdoor patio next to a large, open field green space will be wonderful. I don't think this will be my main go-to for now, however. read more

This is a coffee place. If you want coffee to drink or to go, fine. They do not have plates, butter, decent silverware, wait staff, or dishwashers. Everything is served in a box or takeout foil which is unpleasant unless you expect a picnic. The waffle was soggy from way too much whip cream. And messy because you're pouring syrup into a cardboard box. Anyplace that has croissants should have a pat of butter but not this one. For the price, get breakfast elsewhere. The shop itself is very spacious with plenty of tables to hang out, have a coffee date, or even telework (if the owners are fine with it??). I was immediately greeted by the works and potential owners (?) and they were so helpful with the menu and kind! I was told they just opened up a week ago so please check it out if you're in the area!!
