My husband and I built our own bagel and it's so delicious! The bagel itself is really fluffy, and the outside is the perfect crispy. I ordered a jalepeno cheddar bagel, the cheddar was an off texture but the bread itself was so good. Their pastrami is a must!!! Also, the staff was so kind, they were very busy and kept up with orders very well. Lastly, the place is super cute and clean! Definitely recommend stopping by

They are only open till 2 pm. Very open space inside and it's a little loud. The staff was friendly and helpful. I just got 2 bagels to go with plain cream cheese and pumpkin cream cheese. I'd go back just to get the pumpkin again. The cream cheese is on the fluffy side and both were good. Lots of good options if you want a sandwich. They also had coffee but I did not try it.

everything here looks very modern clean lines and many options to choose from. The sandwich I ordered did take a little bit of time to get made so if you're in a rush, I would choose something that does not necessarily have to be hot. There weren't many tea options which sucks a little bit because every coffee house or bagel shop should have a variety of options when it comes to teas and coffee. must say they pay attention to detail when making the sandwiches. Everything was wrapped tightly and so soft and yummy. Great service. I will give it another try looking forward to some of their homemade cream cheeses.

One of the worst bagel I have ever eaten, basically got TMJ after biting into one. The bagels weren't even fluffy or soft, and keep in mind ya'll we got here in the morning, and the only thing that was good was the strawberry matcha iced latte that i got. Both bagels were so chewy and hard, our bill was around $40 bucks and wasn't worth it. Hot n Bother - on everything bagel, it wasn't not it. It was so tough, super dense and the only thing that sort of save it was the hot honey. Just to keep it moist. Save your money and head to some where else. I had much better bagels than this and if you like dense and tough bagels, this is your place.

Such an easy location to reach, it was very clean and modern inside. I wasn't sure what to order but the lady at the counter recommended a drink (not pictured, but it was a strawberry matcha) and two different bagel sandwiches. She was very nice!! We got a customized bagel sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese on an everything bagel) and a "hey girl hey" on a sesame bagel. The bagels were delicious! They were on the pricier side either the two bagels and the drink being 37-39$ (I can't quite remember). But we will definitely be back to eat the menu!

This is the largest of their three locations and also the busiest. Expect lines, especially on weekends. This plaza is really busy since Trader Joes became part of it. Bagels are great in texture and flavor. They are decent size but not too big. I especially love the flavors of their everything and their onion bagels. However, I wish they had a pumpernickel option. Sandwiches are good and they have lots of preset options or you can build your own. Coffee is good not great. Prices are reasonable for plain bagels and a little high for the sandwiches. Fresh bagel was fantastic. Service was very quick. There's plenty of seating and everywhere was clean.

yummiest bagels in the noVA area! Locally know in the Old Town Leesburg location, they have opened a bigger location and this place is still amazing! We got an everything bagel w EGG WHITES, avocado, and micro greens. The open toast was amazing! Crunchy, flavorful, and delish! Def check them out!

BKD Bagels was a great find! The location is clean and spacious. it does get a little loud, but since I was grabbing my bagel to-go, it wasn't a problem. I got the spicy everything bagel, and it was even better than I expected. The bagel itself was soft and fluffy, and the garlic and herb cream cheese paired perfectly with it. They also have a great selection of bagel sandwiches and coffee options. I'll definitely be back again soon!

Nothing I ordered was done correctly, my bagel wasn't toasted, my 16oz latte that was supposed to have an extra shot, vanilla (2 pumps) and cream AND whipped cream was a sad half cup of milk and one sad attempt at a shot of espresso. My bagel wasn't toasted, the entire thing was cold. I called to complain about the latte as I was trying to fix the mushy breakfast sandwich myself and was told by "Thai" and the general manager "Emily" that I was being rude. Thai actually said I was hostile after expressing my complaints. He definitely didn't like it when I turned his own adjective around on him. This place has the WORST customer service and clearly based on other reviews doesn't understand how to toast a bagel. Here's the pic of the order that EMILY the GENERAL MANAGER claimed they make all orders exactly as requested as well as the mushy bagel sandwich I paid over $20 for

I grew up in the tri-state area, so I'm pretty picky about bagels. BKD offers the best in Loudoun, and adds some unique flavors too. I'm a big fan of the spicy everything (with red pepper flakes), and there's also an Old Bay variety. The coffee is pretty tasty too.

Yummy food, fairly quick, clean place! My three year old gobbled her sandwich up! Food was delicious!

Danielle, the owner, was up front taking orders and was incredibly friendly and welcoming -- the kind of personal touch that makes a place feel special. I ordered the brown sugar iced latte featuring their house-made flavoring, and it was absolutely delicious -- smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. Paired with the Lox Star on their rosemary salt bagel, it was the perfect breakfast. The bagel itself was phenomenal: fresh, chewy, flavorful, and that rosemary salt combination took it to another level. Great coffee, amazing bagels, and genuinely kind service. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

**** updated response to owner ***…read more I hear what you're saying about space and production limits, but that's exactly the point. If your setup can't support the volume and variety you're offering, then the issue is planning, not just space. Offering 16+ flavors while running out of plain bagels (or any bagels for that matter) before 10:30am isn't a demand anomaly, it's a mismatch between your menu and your capacity. Make fewer varieties, produce more of the basics, and you don't lose customers walking out. This isn't about comparing you to high-volume shops, it's about getting the fundamentals right. Plain bagels are the baseline. If those are gone, the rest of the menu doesn't really matter. End result is still the same, long wait, no product, lost sale. ***** Waited 12 minutes at Weird Dough Bagels this morning just to be told they were out of multiple bagels, including plain. Plain bagels... gone before 10:30am. If your concept is 16+ flavors, maybe figure out how to not run out of the one thing every single customer expects you to have. This isn't "high demand," it's bad planning. I'm from New York and I've never seen a bagel shop miss on basics like this. And in all the years going to Bodo's Bagels, I've never seen them run out of bagels, period. As a former café owner, running out of core items isn't quirky or artisanal, it's a failure. Walked out without ordering, about a $50 ticket lost because you couldn't manage inventory on the most basic product you sell. Do less, do it better. Right now it's neither.

I was there to pick up a sandwich for lunch and witnessed very entitled customers treat the staff disrespectfully. Unacceptable. THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THOSE TOP 10%-ers! * Conveniently located (even though I hateeeee that little gummed-up stretch of Main Streer in Fairfax!!) but the shop is on the little side strip out of the fray of the main retailers Ace Hardware and TJ Maxx. Lot parking is abundant for a quick in and out if you're grabbing to go. * SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF and FAST, EFFICIENT SERVICE - I went in around 9AM on a Sat - no long line - walked right up to the counter and ordered - sat at a table and my order was called about 10 minutes later. * It was bfast time and I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sando $8 on a lightly toasted ET bagel - delicious and they didn't skimp on any of the ingredients! The bagel was big, hearty and chewy. A perfect breakfast to go. * PRICES ARE VERY FAIR and I felt I got good value for what I paid. $13 basically for a bfast sando and a bottle of juice (drinks are always a rip-off - $3.50, half the cost of my sando but it is what it is...) * The inside of the restaurant itself is sorta small and cramped - as you walk in, the left side is the ordering side, the right side is the seating area with a good amount of tables and chairs - most importantly, they keep the place neat and clean which is a big deal to me. It's a little dark and drab in ambiance/decor and I could see it getting a bit chaotic if the place fills up and with long lines at the counter. On nice weather days, there are some outside tables. I don't come to this area of Fairfax all that often - just happened to be in the area that morning and literally searched for a bagel place on Yelp and hardly any came up. Fortunately I happened to be close by. When I'm in the area again AND happen to be hankerin' for a bagel sandwich, I'll most definitely come back here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS INDIE BAGEL SHOP IN DOWNTOWN FAIRFAX!
