It consists of: "Fresh mozzarella, vine-ripened tomatoes, olive oil, basil, balsamic reduction." There were 5 slices of tomato, each topped with a generous slice of mozzarella. We enjoyed this starter. The tomatoes were ripe, and the balsamic reduction added a nice flavor. For dinner, I ordered "lobster and crab ravioli, which consists of: "Brandy cream sauce, jumbo lump blue crab". This dish had 4 raviolis. From their appearance, one could tell they were handmade. The brandy cream sauce was well-balanced. I was glad to see that the brandy didn't take over the sauce, but rather, it complemented it quite well. I could taste the lobster and crab. The one thing I didn't like was the cost. For that reason, when we return for a meal, I would choose a different entree. Before heading here, I looked at the menu and told my husband that I thought he would like "Sausage and peppers rustica". The waiter apologized, but then it took him 20 minutes to return with refills so we decided to skip dessert. So then it took another 10 minutes to get my card back once he disappeared with that. This is the third time we've been underwhelmed with slow or disjointed timing. Some meals come out while others at the table have to wait. It's really odd. I don't think we'll give it another go. I prefer supporting local, but not while my meal goes cold waiting for people at the table to receive their meals.
