First time at Pazzo. Service was attentive and seating was immediate. Had a reservation on Father's Day. Apps were pretty good... The Calamari (fried) was pretty good, and there was some fried zucchini in the mix. Cooked to perfection. They offer garlic bread... It looked like half a ciabatta loaf, and to my surprise, it was covered in mozzarella cheese (melted well in the pizza oven) not used to garlic bread covered in cheese, but it was a pleasant surprise and very good. The entrees were passible; however, the Veal dishes were not as tender and enjoyable as they should have been. They need to tenderize the veal properly before preparation. I thought there may have been a bad piece, but all three veal dishes garnered the same complaint. I am a veal snob from NYC, so proper meat prep is a must for this dish. (Happens in other Va Ital restaurants too.) The chicken marsala was good with no real negative complaints. The only thing I can say is that for the price charged, a larger portion would be a better model. When the plate looks sparce when they put it on the table, the impression is not a favorable one. Now that being said - The deserts are huge. Perhaps to offset the meal size. Tiramisu could feed two to three (with extra spoons supplied). Cannoli were pretty good - expected one and received two fairly good-sized cannoli on the plate - took one home. Will give them another try at some point. Maybe the Father's Day rush limited performance. We'll see. read more

Had fettuccine a couple days ago for carry out. Usually it's over the top but this one was more like a bunch of butter noodles. Slopped over with bacon and cheese. When I took it out of the container it was missing ingredients and had no taste whatsoever. Lastly, please train the hostess so she can ring up the food and she doesn't listen. My family and I have been dining at Pazzo for a number of years now, and the great service, truly Italian style atmosphere and food, and always upping-their-game weekly specials have kept us coming back! My husband and I had a rare night to ourselves (September 27, 2025) and were drawn to the weekly specials menu and we loved everything we ordered. Making it an even better experience, our waiter Daniel was incredible and thoughtful. We've been going here for a while now and have enjoyed food. Tonight it was terrible. Something feels different. The food was cold -and not good- and it took forever. I think my biggest complaint is the 3% up charge for using a credit card. A friend recommend this place and we usually go to Travinia in Leesburg. Bottomline: The food is ok. The noddles taste like box spaghetti noddles and the calamari is just ok. We will not be back. read more

This place is truly a hidden gem. I am so impressed with their food. It's really high caliber and delicious. Perfectly cooked pasta and delicious cream sauce. It's hard to get every detail right on an Alfredo but they did. Also my husband and MIL ordered the Ducati and Margherita pizza and loved it. We were incredibly impressed with the food. This place is hit or miss. Good wine selection but the food is sometimes delicious and sometimes terrible. I ordered the gluten free pesto and shrimp pasta and when it came out it was cold and had very little pesto. Basically pasta on a spoon full of pesto. So I asked for a little more pesto and to heat up the pasta. They brought it back to the table and told me that pesto is supposed to be cold. So I still had a plate of cold pasta. They should add cold pesto pasta to the description or move it to the salad section if they really intend to serve it cold. read more

Most bland chicken Alfredo I've had :( I had to add a ton of pepper and salt to make it taste better. The only thing it came with parsley the sauce didn't taste like much. However, it was a veryyy creamy sauce. This is my second time coming here and I didn't like the food much the first time I came either. You get complimentary bread. The bread was good and fresh. I feel like the Chicken Alfredo is extremely over priced for the quality. Service: the waitress was nice. The food came out quickly, but it was a Sunday night and only me. It took about 10 mins for my food to come out. They do offer to box the food for you. To note: they only have like two white sauces on the menu but you can substitute any of the red sauces for a white sauce. read more

The wine list is excellent. PP is a multiyear Wine Spectator award winner and Mary, the Sommelier, is not only knowledgeable but a big part of the fun. Like having dinner with your family. Yikes. Walked in and waited at the front for 10 min when the resultant wasn't full. Hostess came back and finally sat us. Took another 10 min to get waters and was told to wait a little bit longer for the waiter to order. 25 min into the Pazzo experience, a waiter showed up to take our order. If you like bland Italian American $40 entrees with boxed and not freshly made pasta, this is your place. Loud place, warn out look, okay food and $$$ isn't for us. This restaurant is usually full later in the evenings, so we went before 5pm to give it a try. It's much larger than I thought it would be. The hostess walked us through the entire restaurant and bar to seat us in the glassed in area on the side. It was a little chilly compared to the warmer empty 'inside' seats (it was about 30 degrees outside). There was one other couple seated out there. The server initially stood about 6 feet from us while we looked at the menu. She never offered us a drink, or even water, for that matter. She only had our table and the one other. Once we decided what we wanted, we waited for her to come back over. Meanwhile, she gave all of her attention to the other table (just two people). We waited a good 15 minutes for her to approach us or even glance our way. During that time, I counted, she went to the other table five times, but never came to ours. I tried to make eye contact so I could smile and show her we were ready to order, but she never looked our way. She would bring them bread, drinks, etc., but walked away afterward. Ultimately, we decided to leave. On our way out, she was standing at the hostess stand casually talking to the hostess. I stopped and politely told them that nobody had taken our order or even approached our table the entire time since we had been seated so we were going to leave. The hostess apologized, but the server didn't even seem to realize I was talking about her. Very disappointed. read more

This place captured my heart! The ambiance was amazing!! Our server and ALL the staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. Now the Food--BABYBEEE...if you love Italian food run over there. Now you know it's good if you can't even pronounce the name of the dish because it's in ITALIAN. At our table the younguns had lasagna (meat)--Loved it! I had the Swordfish OMG!!! First of all I have never had a piece of swordfish that big--EVER!! Hubby had the Penne with Salmon--DELISH!! The sauce took me back to a little Italian restaurant we used to frequent when we lived in Germany!! Your girl had a moment after tasting that!! Pretty decent Italian and way bigger than the vienna location! The calamari was average but that's okay. I tried the chicken Marsala which was cooked pretty well and I loved the Marsala sauce. The experience here was impacted by a rude and unpleasant staff member. Cindy was abrasive and unaccommodating at the bar. We were reprehended for asking for bar stools because they were "reserved" when they were not used our entire visit and there were plenty more around. Our drinks were good! The other employees definitely don't fall into this review. They were conversational, kind, and engaging. However, Cindy also spoke poorly towards her own bar staff and it came off extremely aggressive. The ambiance is cozy, but I couldn't leave a glowing review. read more

The prices have gone up drastically. A 12inch Pizza is $15 plus extra for toppings and the calamari has skyrocketed to $18 it's hit or miss if you even get a lemon! I understand prices have gone up but this place is off the charts! I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't lost business for their high prices! I had to ask three times for a plastic fork, so that my kid could eat, as the metal one was too heavy to maneuver. -The pasta dishes were a disappointment. The noodles did not taste freshly-made in house. There was no seasoning, or even a hint of garlic or herbs in any of the dishes; just like the other reviews noted. -The calamari was plain, made with a simple egg batter wash and was too salty for my liking. -The layout of the restaurant is a bit odd. -Freshly-cracker pepper would've been nice with the olive oil and bread. -The 85 out of 100 health and safety inspection score is a bit worrisome. Save yourselves from tummy ache or customer dissatisfaction, and skip this restaurant. You'll have a better experience across the street at Baker's Crust. read more

My guests and I all ordered the pappardelle bolognese. The noodles were overdone and the bolognese itself lacked flavor, most notably salt. The portion was generous for the price of $21, but it was just missing the culinary oomph and overall balance of flavor we were expecting for the price. It simply fell flat. I ordered a house salad, which consisted of handful of spring mix with shaved carrots, two grape tomatoes, and four cucumber slices with a very thick, gelatinous balsamic dressing of some sort. That cost me $12, which I feel was extremely overpriced for a house salad. We also ordered garlic bread, which was priced high, in my opinion, at $9. My husband did have a single glass of their own label of red wine, which he said was very enjoyable, so don't pass that up. Overall, none of us were impressed and the caliber of food just wasn't worth the price of $105 for three people and we all agreed we probably wouldn't return for that reason. read more

Ordered ravioli, the sauce was not pleasant and the pasta itself was tough. I explained to the waitress, and she was very accommodating about it, and said she would take the $32 ravioli off the check. I then ordered a $16 pizza and we paid without checking the receipt first. We saw afterwards that she took off the pizza instead of the ravioli which was double the cost. I have worked with many POS systems in restaurants, and I am aware it's not easy to make that kind of mistake, which feels really slimy to do purposefully. Of course, we should have double checked the receipt before giving the card, but the overall experience was very poor and food was subpar even without that bad experience happening. read more

I do like their food but unfortunately I have decided not to go back until they do away with the service charge they now attach to your check if you pay with a credit card. To me, that is the cost of doing business and you should raise your prices or figure a way to absorb the cost. That service charge is like a penalty for not having cash so I am happy to take my card and go somewhere else that doesn't slap me with that fee. read more
