To drink, we both had ginger ales. After looking at the menu, we decided to order a "DOC" Margherita instead of the non-"DOC" one. We got a ten-inch pizza. BTW, the difference between DOC and non-DOC is that the DOC has smooth, watery tomato sauce and bison mozzarella, while the non-DOC has a chunky tomato sauce and mozzarella made from cow's milk. Even though we were among the only ones in the place, the pizza still took what seemed like a long time. Plus, it sat in the window longer than it needed to. The pizza needed to be baked longer and have less sauce. It was messier than average to eat. Careful as I was, when I got a slice, some cheese and sauce fell off. Two bites had cheese with an unpleasant taste, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. My husband was so hungry that he ordered a second DOC margherita pizza.
