The meat pizza here is great as long as it's specified to not bake too much. Otherwise the crust is inedible and the texture is bad. The service is prompt. The store inside has weird flickering lights that goes off like strobe lights. This makes for a place not for people with epilepsy or wanting relaxing dining experience. Would I return again? Maybe. I've been on the hunt for the best chicken Caesar wrap in the Northern Virginia area, and I noticed that Andolini's has one on its menu. I had never been here before. It's sort of a hole-in-the-wall (which isn't always a bad thing). We decided to give Andolini's a try for lunch - had pizza, spaghetti, cheese bread, meatballs and mushrooms. It was all very good. The location caught us off guard because it is kind of a warehouse feel but the inside is nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Overall I would recommend giving it a try. read more

We tried this place on a whim because of Yelpers and you didn't disappoint! I know this is a pizza place but we actually ordered the fried calamari and the baked ziti - for delivery! The delivery time was a little over an hour so plan accordingly...however, the food was delicious! The calamari was still hot and crispy even after the travel. The dipping sauce was a bit weak, but the calamari itself was not chewy or rubbery at all so I was pleasantly surprised. The baked ziti with meat sauce was HUGE. Seriously it took two people three days to finish this thing. Honestly you could feed a family of 3-4 on this thing! The meat sauce was perfect and the pasta was cooked perfectly. We found this little pizza and sub joint near our hotel. Very simple little place much like you find in any small town or hidden away within big cities. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Seemed as though it was family owned and operated. You order at the counter and they bring it to you as it's prepared. We got chicken nuggets for the baby, my wife had a pizza, son had a turkey wrap and I ordered a Greek Chicken Wrap. Also an order of fried mushrooms for the table. The wrap was pretty good. The chicken was seasoned, and the yogurt sauce was very tzatziki ish but a little lighter than a typical gyro. The feta cheese was strong but didn't overpower the wrap. They used just enough to give it a little kick and nothing more. I also enjoyed the mushrooms. They were not too big and the batter complemented them well. Combined with what tasted like a home made ranch made them very tasty. My son even complimented the turkey wrap saying it had just the right amount of mayo to be good with the turkey and lettuce. He's not much of a mayo person. I didn't get much from my wife about the pizza but my daughter liked the chicken nuggets. I'll admit they even looked and smelled good but I resisted. I was already eating fried mushrooms lol. So ultimately I would recommend this place. The food is pretty good and the prices not too crazy. Atmosphere very comfortable and low budget. I looked up Andolini's and noticed people had left good reviews, especially about halal food being available at this location. So I called to confirm and was greeted by José. He answered all my questions patiently and was super helpful and kind. I called back later with my order and it was ready for pickup within 30 minutes, as promised. Decided to go exploring for a new pizza place since we haven't found the perfect one for us.... This pizza gets closer to what we are looking for. Our goal is a thin , crispy, cracker like crust with a nice balance of toppings, sauce, cheese. Our first pizza was a medium thin with sausage and mushroom overall and half onion (my fav). Was so pleased at the crust as it was crispy enough to stand up to the toppings without sagging. Enjoyed things enough that we will return to try more. Menu was surprisingly large with subs, strombollis, pizza, and pastas. The place smelled heavenly from cooking sauce and garlic. A no frills space hidden in a industrial building. The sampler was decent, there were 3 pieces of fried chicken wings, 3 jalapeño poppers which was filled with cream cheese (yuck), 3 mozzarella cheese sticks, and 3 pieces of fried chicken strips. The strips didn't taste all that great, semi flat and it was not breaded well, still ok. Mozzarella sticks were not gooey, bite into it and it was solid. The white pizza was soggy, I guess it's because of the olive oil but the sauce was very chunky. The regular cheese pizza was just ok... crust was hard and chewy. read more

A fridge full of food and all I wanted was Stromboli. Checking out Yelp Reviews, I decided to give Andolini's a chance. I called and was told it'd be ready in ten minutes. I walked in the door and it was ready to go, piping hot. The dough was soft and fresh. I was going to eat it with a fork and knife, but it was easy to pull apart (more fun for sauce dunking purposes). Copious amounts of onions, green peppers, sausage, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese stuffed the interior. The marinara dipping sauce was just okay, but it's rare to find a good sauce in NoVA. Where countless numbers of MASSIVE grey and white colored data centers in various phases of construction dot the land. Sandwiched in between are thousands of cookie cutter style condos the worker ants call home. A city with no character but very cost effective. In the middle of the big steel boxes and paper thin walled condos lies a pizza joint that, according to my fellow Yelpers, is pretty close to authentic New York style pizza. Desperate to escape the dull and depressing views, I made my way to Andolini's thinking about the fresh NY style pizza I was about to enjoy. Looking at the facade, you'd be forgiven to think that the strip mall this place resides in was once a data center too. Who cares, it's the taste of the pizza that matters! Well unfortunately this is not NY style pizza. The crust seems like it was made in a factory and the cheese was too salty. However, the sauce was delicious and the toppings were generous. This is the best service I have had at any restaurant in Northern Virginia. Hands down. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The niceties seemed to be very genuine.
