I wanted to like this place. I ordered a half hawaiin pizza and a half double cheese, with mild wings and garlic bread. When I go there for pickup it was a whole hawaiin. The man said Ill make you another with no apology. I was made a new pizza after waiting 10 minutes. I asked if I could add a canned soda which he added for $1.69 which he made me pay for...whatever. i get home to have my mild sauced wings and this is what I get...completely charred and burned wings for little to no mild sauce. Maybe I was thinking of Godfather's Pizza when choosing this restaurant. My husband loves UNOs deep dish. That's why we choose this restaurant and ordered their Chicago deep dish meat lover's pizza (and chicken wings). The Yelp reviews were good. Disappointed. The pizza totally missed the mark! It was meat on top of dough, topped with dough, topped with mozzarella cheese, tomato paste and a little sprinkle of parmesan cheese. The pizza crust was doughy but burnt on the bottom. The tomato sauce/paste was bitter and just weird on the top. Reheating didn't help. The chicken wings weren't cooked hard enough for us. I like my Buffalo wings fried crispy then tossed in sauce. AWFUL PIZZA AWFUL SERVICE. I recently ordered a medium pan pizza from here and the pizza arrived burned and inedible. I called to tell the manager the problem and he told me to call back anytime and order a new pizza and tell them David the manager said it was free. I called on a Saturday and I was told the mgr wasn't there but I couldn't get my free pizza on a Saturday. Then he said he would call me back when I mentioned I would also order other items I'd pay for. No call. Still trying to give them a chance I call on Wednesday night. The guy said he'd get the manager and hung up on me! I called back thinking it was a mistake and they hung up again. I ripped up my menu and threw it out. Don't get Goodfellas pizza. We're a fan of the pizza and wings so far but look forward to exploring the rest of their menu soon. I'm from Chicago and have a high standard for pizza... personally I like a good thick pizza! Their Sicilian pizza is very tasty and reminds me of both NYC and Chicago! This is new our go-to for take out food. Food is clearly made when you order it and has always been accurate. Flavor is excellent across the board - pizzas, calzones, cheesesteaks, salads - it doesn't matter! On top of that, these guys smile at you and are clearly hustling which means they value you as a customer. Let them know if something is not right or if you have a suggestion. They've never gotten anything wrong with our orders but I've had great conversations with them. Dining in is limited. Outside dining is available but not a lot of it. read more

I've only been to Goodfellas twice. My first experience was great. I had their Chicago style deep dish veggie pizza and it was really authentic to Chicago style pizza in NoVa. Fast forward to my second experience and I can't believe it but they changed the pizza. It's called Chicago style but it isn't. Their is no sauce on the pizza. It's just crust and cheese and veggies. It tasted awful. I called them because I was so shocked and I thought they made a mistake, but the manager said no we changed it and this is what it is now. So sad I just hung up the phone as he tried to explain why but it made no sense. Too bad honestly. I would not recommend. read more

Ugh. Don't order from the slice app or on a Friday night. It's been 1.5 hours and we still don't have our food. We've called twice and we're told 'he's leaving in 5 minutes' (which was already 10 minutes after it was supposed to be here) and then we were told 'we are really busy, he will be there any minute'. 15 minutes later and he's still not here (btw it only takes 15 mins to get to our house from GFs). So it's been 45 mins since he was supposed to have been leaving 'in 10 mins'. This is our third time ordering from them and it will be our last. The first time everything was fine, but the zucchini sticks were super bland. The second time the pizza was horrible and had zero flavor. Been going there for quite some time. Kids love it. Wife loves it. Everybody we invite over to our house loves it. We're now regulars, so perhaps I'm biased, but there's a reason why we're regulars. Pizza and desserts are definitely their strengths. They'll accommodate custom requests too. Every pizza place has their own distinct flavor (think Dominoes vs Pizza Hut for example), and Goodfellas tastes awesome in their own way. Highly recommended. It was really good. Me and my boss work right down the road so we thought we'd give a try. The staff was friendly and quick. I ordered a pepperoni calzone. It's the best one I've had in this area. The dough was crispy on the outside and the perfect amount of doughy on the inside. The marinara sauce was delicious. They added a little red pepper which brought a little spice which kicked it up a few notches. I definitely recommend it. My boss got a steak and cheese. He said it was pretty good. He didn't care for the fries as they left a little to be desired. Maybe a crispy crinkle cut fry would set them off the right way. All in all the service was fast and friendly. not sure if something has changed or it's the specific items we've ordered but it seems like a lot of the proteins are made from frozen.. got the grilled chicken salad and it is very obvious its made from frozen chicken strips just dipped in buffalo sauce. Paid $10 for a sad salad. Also it's all iceberg lettuce, the lowest cost and least nutritional lettuce available. Blue cheese dressing tasted sad also, only flecks of blue cheese. Daughter order a cheese burger and the patty appears to have been a frozen patty which was extremely dry along with my son's chicken tenders, made from frozen. I've ordered from here before and I don't remember it being this bad. I wanted to take a break from cooking tonight only to order food that I barely want to eat, it was so very disappointing. :( read more

It was cooked perfectly, and was not overly greasy; too often are calzones still mushy in the center from being cooked unevenly, or overly greasy from the ingredients. The calzone at Goodfellas, however, was delicious. The star of the show was their sausage, which was very flavorful and unique. Also, at about $9, the price is perfect for a quick pick-up for dinner.
