I've lived in Ashburn forever and had no idea this place existed! Got recommended this restaurant by someone else and this was a great recommendation. There's a reason why this place is rated so high! For appetizers I ordered the potato stick and nachos with chicken. For entrees we ordered two rice bowls, one with chicken and the other with fish. We also ordered a Greek salad with crispy eggplant. All of the portions are very generous and very flavorful with the different seasonings and sauces. The workers are very friendly and the food came out in a reasonable time. There isn't AC inside but they have fans blowing around. The chicken skewer meat with slightly dry, but other than that everything is amazing! I definitely recommend and my family enjoyed this place as well.

Hands down the food is OUTSTANDING!! Has so many options on the menu with each and every one being delicious. I feel as if I found my GO TO SPOT!!

Bit of an odd location, but their food is delicious. When you eat it, be prepared to go into a food coma and get nothing done for the rest of the day. Interior is definitely kitschy, but it's a fun and unique (get it) atmosphere. Would personally not recommend the chipotle bbq pita chips. I was expecting a powder flavoring, not a sauce. The sauce makes the crispy pita chips get soggy. The tatziki is top notch, though. I'm a big fan of the Artemis sandwich. Chicken is very crispy, plenty of sauce and cheese. Delicious! A bit out of the way but man is it worth it!

Still recommend this place to everyone. It's quality food and it's delicious. On this most recent trip I ordered the Morpheus Burger. It's a burger that has a middle bun and top layer of gyro meat and feta cheese. It's a monster burger but it's so delicious. Beware that it is hard to get a bite of everything all at once lol. My fiancée ordered the Olympic gyro and it's also solid. It's not quite as good as our favorite gyro from Greece, but it's the best gyro in NoVa that we've found. We also had a falafel appetizer to start. The falafel here is crunchy and amazing. My fiancée orders falafel everywhere and she loves how crunchy and flavorful it is here. The service here is great! The guys who own it are super friendly and are passionate about putting out good food. It's super clear to tell when you talk to them about it. The ambiance is very casual here. You can sit down at one of many tables inside. There's some Greek themed things on the walls. Love this place and will continue to dine here. It's a little hidden so definitely check this place out and support a great small business!

Artemis (close up) , pita chips with spicy feta dip, and the Minotaur.

We realized we hadn't visited for a while so we wanted to give it another try. Everything was 10/10. We got the Minotaur, the Artemis, and crispy pita chips with spicy feta dip. It was really good! We visited around 3:30pm on a Saturday and the quality of everything was great! The pita chips were fresh and crunchy , the dip had feta in it, and the sandwiches had a ton delightful toppings.

This spot is slightly hidden among business buildings and data warehouses, but somehow my friend found it! I've been here before years ago, it used to be my post-workout go to spot! The gyro sandwich is my favorite. I also tried the fried eggplant from the Hermes sandwich and ended up ordering some fried eggplant for takeaway. I really wanted to try the Moussaka, but didn't have anyone to share it with. There was plenty of seating, and they were quite busy during the weekday lunch time. They have such an extensive menu, I do want to come back and try other items, but it's a bit overwhelming! One note, they don't serve halal.

    Philly Kratos Sandwich

I discovered this place on Yelp's list of top restaurants in the country. I was in the area visiting a florist with one of my brides, and realized I was only eight minutes away. Since the traffic headed home was ridiculous because of rush hour, I decided to stop by and treat myself. The menu has so many options I had trouble choosing, but the cashier (who I later learned was also one of the owners) helped me narrow my choices. I settled on the Kratos, which is a Philly cheesesteak version of a lamb gyro, with a small side of garlic Parmesan pita chips. Adding the peppers, onions and the melted cheese inside of a soft, warm pita was a nice twist on the lamb gyro. This was the biggest, meatiest gyro I've ever had. It's definitely enough to share but tastes so good I wanted to keep it all to myself. I absolutely love fried pita chips, but typically they're just served with salt. This is the first time I got to choose a flavor. They actually have eight different options but I selected the garlic parmesan chips. Just when I thought fried pita chips, couldn't get any better, here they go adding garlic and parmesan! Delicious. I was shocked to know my order was a small order. This place believes in big portions, at least for the two dishes that I had. I see why Greek Unique made the Yelp list and why they have so many five star reviews.

I alwayssssss enjoy their food!!! If you're debating, just do it. I would consider myself a bit of a foodie and I love flavorful food. Everything I've tried has been good. If it's your first time go with the top two below. The service is always great. They're kind and super helpful with menu details. I've ordered the 1. Olympic Gyro (a go to fave) 2. Morpheus burger (go to fave) 3. Grecian 4. Flaming discus 5. Chicken souvlaki 6. Quesadilla My fave app is their falafel It's a casual little spot. It's not a huge got big groups. They have to go options.

Greek Salad and Chicken Parmigiana sub with Vodka sauce!
    tony P.

Revisiting a loved place! Was in the area and had to go back to this awesome lunch spot! My wife and I wanted a sub and salad, so we decided to go with their Greek salad, filled with Dolmas, olives, cucumbers, peppers and feta. We also ordered the chicken parm sub topped with vodka sauce, and lots of mozzarella. We made the right choice, oversized portions so we split both entrees and enjoyed them!!! As I said, this was a revisit, and we previously had their Greek salads and their gyros, they were great too! You have to give Greek Unique a try, their food is awesome and the owners are Great people!

Potato twist with a side of cheese sauce - YUMMY!!
    Linda B.

The food was super unexpected since it was definitely unique as described! It was our first time ordering from here and we loved it! We ordered the potato twist with a side of cheese sauce and it was SUPER YUMMY!! We also ordered a gyro BLT which came with panko crusted gyro meat, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and Taziki sauce. We also ordered the gyro dog which was a gyro with a split grilled hot dog and gyro meat with spicy creamy feta, which is REALLY SPICY, by the way, and cheddar sauce. We opted for no caramelized onions. We also ordered a Greek salad, which was delicious!! We would definitely order from here again, but keep in mind, their portions are HUGE so you most definitely get your moneys worth!! We will just order less and split the food next time!! : )

The service at the Sterling location on the day I visited was excellent. Friendly, patient, helpful, and polite. The feel of the location itself is your typical fast-food joint. Get in. Get out. Seemed clean enough. Not very cozy as in a great place to hang out. Not sure how it is during peak hours but the parking lot might get a bit crowded. The street for sure is busy & can cause cars to back up into the parking lot. The food, while not as awesome as I remembered it 5 years ago in MD, is still tasty. Today's visit, the meat in gyros was a bit dry & the gyros & the side of fries I paid full price for were rather skimpy in serving, given that the gyros used to be served with fries included in the price of the gyro. Still, the fries & the gyros still taste good. Not as good a value as in days of old...even on $7 gyro Wednesdays (which used to be $5 gyro Wednesdays). The fried fish sandwich was a good deal in these horrible economic times because it comes with a good-sized filet and fries. Although, $2 extra for Greek fries that only had a tablespoon of garlic, dry herbs, and feta crumbles tossed on top rolling off the fries then pooling at the bottom of the container. The garlic, herbs, & feta are supposed to stick to piping hot fries steaming with the awesome garlicky oil. What I received was really underwhelming and didn't even come close to the Greek fries I remember. So, I'll preface this review conclusion with this: Big Greek Cafe was one of my absolute favorite local joints... the food made me drool just thinking about it. The food was always plentiful in servings, hot, fresh, aromatic, wonderfully delicious, and everything on the menu was such a good value, you'd end up buying a ton of food. Was this trip worth the drive? Glad the curiosity about whether this VA location equaled the MD experiences was satisfied. Probably no longer high on my list to go out of my way to drive 30 minutes to get what used to be my fav sandwich. It seems a little too fast-foodsy, mass-produced now than the original delectable hole-in-the-wall local joint. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely pick up something because it's still tasty...just not as fantastic as I remember.

So, my baseline remains at what I remember about the MD location I frequented often. It was reliably delicious. Today's visit at the Leesburg location was a pleasant one. Staff were pleasant, welcoming, helpful. The restaurant itself was fairly clean, though upon entering, a table hadn't been wiped off, and there aren't many tables in this small space. Fortunately, it wasn't too crowded. The food was ok. Whiie it was too salty at the Sterling location, it was a bit bland and really greasy at the Leesburg location.
