We had lunch there on 7/19/2026. This a quaint little restaurant. My wife had a steak and cheese with tater tots on the side. Meat was tender, vegetables cooked perfectly. She really enjoyed it. I had the Monte Cristo. I love that it was served on texas toast. The bread was crispy, sweet, delicious. There was plenty of ham, turkey, and provolone cheese. I loved the raspberry jam on the side. Its a perfect compliment for that sandwich. One of best sandwiches I had in a long time. I had a dirty coke on the side. It was very tasty, although I think I'd prefer a regular coke. I also had the tater tots on the side. They were nice and crispy but could have used a little salt. Overall a delicious meal. We will be back and I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Ordered the 12-inch Philly and was thoroughly underwhelmed. For $19 (plus an extra $1 for tomatoes), the steak barely covered the bun and had very little flavor. The meatball sub was just okay. Walking out with a $46+ tab for two subs (Purcellville's 11% tax doesn't help) would have felt different if the sandwiches had been outstanding--unfortunately, they weren't. read more

Finally made it out to Purcellville Eats! It may not look like much, but you can't beat this yummy tomato and bacon grilled cheese and garlic tots for $7! The sandwiches are made to order. This place has a fun, hipster vibe to it. I should have taken more photos but the decor would definitely appeal to an artsy crowd. But the food was the main experience. I ordered the "Lobstah Grilled Cheese", which came with potato tots. It was excellent! This was by far the highest priced item on the menu, although there were other cheaper options. I might upgrade them to 5 stars on the next visit if my next meal is just as good. read more

They have a wide variety of grilled cheese sandwiches, either you can build your own or order from the menu. The prices are fairly reasonable. The food comes packaged in take away boxes. First time trying this place the food was pretty good the grilled cheese was good pricing is not clear they had extras added on they didn't mention the tater tots were a little garlicky but the most frustrating thing is the staff standing over you when they give you that touch screen and you're taking it to go and they're staring for your tip. I'm a person that always does some kind of tip even if it's a small one but when you're putting 15% and 20% or more on your touch screen there it's just not right. read more

What a great little spot for well prepared hot sandwiches. Their Cubano looked excellent and is a top seller, but I went with their new sandwich, the Beef on Weck. I've had plenty of disappointing attempts at a Beef on Weck at OTHER venues all over northern Virginia, but Purcelleville Eats did this sandwich justice. The garlic tots were a great side as well. I was passing by, driving for work and stopped to try it since it seemed to be a new fast food place, I haven't tried before, and I needed some lunch. I can't remember exactly what my partner and I ordered, but I do remember it was great! Very good sandwiches, tasty and fresh. I probably had the Cuban sandwich if I'm not mistaken. Not Good... Was in there to grab a bite for lunch today. 2 Hotdogs with cheese, a drink, and tots ($16.65). The food was not good at all. The cheese on the dogs had already separated into an oily mess by the time I got back to work (5 minutes down the road). The tots were just ok but at least the ice in my drink was cold. While looking at their site I learned that they over charged me. Per their own menu my meal should have cost $11.00 before taxes. I was Charged $16.65, I know taxes in the town are high but not that high. Overall the food was not good. Save your time and money, find another place to eat. read more

Pick a sandwich or make you're own. Good quality meat and a generous portion of it. Toasted perfectly and just the right amount of toppings. So happy this opened in Purcellville! The concept is perfect in its simplicity. Grilled cheese sandwiches of all types made fresh to order and if you don't like the ones they have on the menu you can build your own. Garlic tater tots (yum), and soft drinks & milkshakes round everything out. The food was meh, tater tot was over cooked the sandwich I got only tasted of avocado, couldn't taste the Brie or Turkey. The bathroom was very dirty and the soap dispenser didn't work. I really wanted to love this place but it was just okay. I got the Philly cheese steak the size was great but wish the onions and peppers were chopped and/or mixed in the meat rather than just on top. The cheese whiz was just drizzle on top so when they wrapped the sandwich and then you open it much of the cheese was on the wrapper. read more

I am not in the habit of knocking a small business. I have a ton of respect for the entrepreneurs out there who do invest their souls and money in what they believe to be a great idea. This is just advice to a new small casual food business. You have got to increase the portion. I ordered a simple grilled cheese on rye with bacon and jalapeños. It was too thin. It was absolutely not worth the price. I know ingredients and margins tight but if you make a grilled cheese that I could easily make at my home than why would I buy yours? After a while when enough people decide you make a joke of a sandwich, you're out of business. There was nothing unique or redeeming about the sandwich I ordered. Today my family had the honor and privilege of eating at Purcellville Eats. What a clean and welcoming spot in town. I had the Mexi Grilled Cheese, wife had the Italian, our kids got the chicken fingers and a plain grilled cheese. I was scared about the kids (they are picky) but wow... they loved it all!!! We all loved it. The tots were fantastic too. Afterwards we helped ourselves to a couple shakes and they were also on point, destroyed in minutes! Can't wait to come back. A+++ I'd say I'd get the Mexi again but next time I'll probably get the Pub & the Mexi! Lol read more

I'm talkin a feast packed within cheese and toasty sourdough! Well, EATS has you covered! I personally tried the Mexi Melt and it is fantastic...the chorizo and guacamole make it so filling, and the jalapeños add the perfect little bite to it. I also got a taste of the California Smash and the gooey brie mixed with fig jam is just WOW! I made mine a combo because I'm a sucker for tots and the garlic tots were top friggin notch. I'd eat a whole basket of just those! I left there stuffed like a Turkey on Thanksgiving. All of this and I haven't even mentioned the people...everyone who was working there were so nice and incredibly helpful. They had smiles on their faces and seemed to be having fun while working. My new favorite lunch spot in Purcellville, I stopped in and tried the Mexi-melt and Pizza Melt with my son. The entire staff was friendly and courteous, the food was delivered to us quickly and reasonable priced. the Mexi-Melt is our favorite so far. The tag art and sticker bombed wall is a different take on traditional restaurant art and kept us entertained during our brief wait after we ordered. What a great addition to our little town! Purcellville EATS! offers various gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, crispy tater tots, delicious soup, and heavenly milkshakes. They even have "basic" grilled cheese and chicken fingers for the little ones or picky eaters. I couldn't wait to try The California Smash and it was AMAZING! My husband ordered The Mexi Melt which is kind of like a hearty taco in sandwich form and I ended up stealing half of his and that was also delicious.
