So they basically took a former KFC and changed one letter to a B. The interior looks like it was not changed at all except for removing some company logos. Staff wasn't the friendliest but was pretty efficient. The one thing they did change was the food- and this is some of the best fast food I've had. Perfect fries, hot and well seasoned. An excellent fast food style burger that actually has real flavor. And chicken that can rival some of the trendy fried chicken places popping up everywhere. I have been awaiting their opening for a while. Earlier reviews looked intriguing as well. My first visit was on a Sunday only to discover that due to staff shortages they were only doing drive thru. So I returned later when the diving run was open. The menu seemed pretty standard and fairly priced for the area. First respondersand seniors can get a discount. I ordered the three piece dark meat chicken with fries drink and biscuit. I also got a side of Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was pretty standard Velveeta like sauce that you'd find at the major chicken franchises... nothing special there. The chicken...well, If you took KFC original recipe and mixed it with their extra crispy, that's what you could expect here. It was crispy, hot, and juicy...all good to start. But the coating was way too salty. The fries were pretty good. Crispy, lightly coated. Better than other places but not outstanding. They would be better uncoated. I posted some photos and I ordered the four piece chicken which was two drumsticks and two thighs. It was great, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The thighs were the highlight. Not sure what tiny chickens they are getting the drumsticks from. I also ordered the single Patty Burger combo and it's delicious it's got great toppings and a nice bun. Next time I'll order the double Patty because the bun is so substantial it overpowers the single Patty. The fries were perfect they still have the skin on them but excellent. Almost reminded me of five guys fries. Not quite but reminiscent. I also got a soda and it was just like a Coke from McDonald's. If you know what I mean, McDonald's Coke just Hits different. We've had takeout (drive-thru) from BFC a couple times and with the exception of one item, the food has always been hot, fresh, and tasty. We've tried the fries, fried chicken, burgers, and chicken sandwich. The burgers are fresh grilled and made to order, the French fries are the BOMB and the fried chicken is hot crispy and juicy. The only so-so food was the chicken sandwich. It was a thin patty and just not very inspiring. But no problem because there are plenty of food items to pick from! Recently we opted to dine in rather than take it home. When we sat down to eat, our youngest (who had ordered a kid's cheeseburger) noticed it had ketchup on it. Totally our fault as we had forgotten to ask for no ketchup. So my husband tried to wipe it off with a napkin. As he was doing that a gentleman came up to us (assume it was a manager or even the owner) and saw what he was doing and said he would replace it. We told him that he didn't need to do that as the error was out fault, but he insisted. So he brought her a new cheeseburger. Unfortunately, this one still also had ketchup on it (haha) so our daughter just had to deal with it as we did not want to get yet another one. Even though the second cheeseburger wasn't right, we were still very impressed with the customer service. In fact, while we were there, everyone was friendly and polite. Not coming here again. I ordered the #10 combo for chicken nuggets, fries, and a drink, and spent $9.93 for it. Needless to say, it was not worth it since the chicken nuggets looked like they were straight from a frozen bag and microwaved to warmth. That is not to say they weren't enjoyable, however, I have had better. Additionally, it was a waste of my time to wait as long as I did before I had to ask about my order for it to be brought out.
