Checked this spot out as it was close by. Awesome spot to grab quick lunch / dinner and reasonably priced. Service here was very friendly and the gentleman that rung us up was very helpful and accommodating as we were a bit indecisive. Plenty seatings indoor and nice shaded patio outside. The burger was absolutely delicious and definitely hit the spot. The burger was juicy and flavorful. Got some onions, jalapeños, mushrooms, cheddar, pickles on it. We got it on Texas Toast, in which wasn't bad, but I'd go for a traditional brioche bun next time. We also ordered the Chicago Dog, which had relish, onions, peppers, pickles, and mustard. Good, but not something I'd go out of my way to get. Would stick with the burgers here. We also ordered two of their shakes, black & white and Colombian coffee. We had dinner there on 1/30/2025. My wife had burger on a plate with fries. She loved the burger, well seasoned. The burger was slightly over cooked but very tasty. Fries were nice and crispy. I had the Ring of fire burger and a coney dog. The ring of fire burger was very tasty. The burger itself was slightly over cooked but very tasty. All the components on the burger worked nicely together. I loved the coney dog. Who wouldn't love a hot dog with chili, mustard and onions. First time at this place. I had heard the burgers were good as were the shakes. Had early lunch on a Saturday. Large seating area and order and serving line(s) are clearly marked. Staff were friendly and took my order immediately. I went with the Traditional Cheeseburger and saw they had a Chicago Style Hot Dog that I had to try. Also got an order of french fries and a chocolate shake. I have to say the Fries and Shake were delicious. I did enjoy the Chicago Hot Dog. The hot dog (all beef hot dog) tasted awesome and they provide what I am used to (relish, tomato, celery seed, and peppers). I have to say it was my favorite of the meal. The Cheeseburger was not great. The burger had been burnt or grilled too hard. Not sure if others had the same burger experience. i'd come back for the Chicago Hot Dog, Fries and Shake. Asked the order taker what he prefers. He said the hot dogs were all beef and were good. Ordered a coney Hot Dog with cheese. Unfortunately, the fries were the best part of the meal. They were hot and crispy while the dog was cold and lacked the chili needed for a good coney. There were more onions than chili. Our first time ordering from here and the burgers were amazing! They were HUGE and juicy and very flavorful! The buns were soft and fresh as well as the toppings! I ordered the BLT burger with a 7oz angus burger, no shacksauce, and with an added fried egg as well as some avocado. Oh my, it was SOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!! The online ordering is confusing- which you only know after your order is wrong. I called to ask about it the employee was rude and not helpful. The burgers wet incredibly salty, the hot dogs were undercooked and the onions were old. The tots were very good, but needed salt. Stopped by the Burger Shack in Ashburn after a race since I was in the area and wanted a burger after the run. I absolutely love the Chantilly location, so I didn't think twice about stopping in once I saw how close I was to the Ashburn location. Pros: Located in a shopping center means a lot more parking options Same menu Bigger seating area Cons: Food didn't seem as flavorful I got my usual Build-A-Burger because it's delicious and I wanted to see if it was any different than the other location. While it was made relatively the same, something seemed off about the burger. I didn't seem as flavorful as I'm used to. I'll leave this review at 4 stars because on it's own, it is a solid burger joint. While I didn't think it was as good as the other location, it still filled my burger craving and was pretty good nonetheless. I probably wouldn't stop by again just because of how far this location is from me, but if you're craving a burger out in the Loudoun area, you should definitely check out Burger Shack! read more

OMG! The food and service is AWESOME! They deserve a 10! The food is always on point. I order and it was delivered and still hot and fresh.

The first couple of times I ate here it was fantastic. The last couple of times not as great, mostly because I ordered online and they didn't read the order. Twice they forgot my precious bacon and thousand island dressing, which in my opinion take the burger to next level. Bummed because bacon is $3 extra and my burger was dry without the sauce :( I really shouldn't have to look through an entire order to ensure it's done right, especially when paying $70... Also, the garlic parm fries were soggy this last time too. Hoping to try one more time next time I crave a burger because the first couple of times really was that good! Great burgers are as American as apple pie. And the burger shack does a fine job of it. Based on taste, it's hard to find a better burger elsewhere in the area due to the quality of the beef and the right simple amount of seasonings. My Philly burger (grilled onions, peppers, provo); at medium (well done belongs in hell), made with brotherly love, consisting of gooey cheese and translucency of the onions and peppers = burger awesomesauce. Also added a side of mild wings since I prefer protein over fries (healthier right?); they had a nice crispness and covered in sauce which is how wings should be done. For a burger place, the wings were nicely done. Thankful they are in Ashburn near my residence; I'll have to check out their original location in Chantilly. While burger places are a risky due to the competitive restaurant scene here, this place should be here to stay due to great food & customer service. This location seems to be fairly new. We have been going to the Chantilly location before, but this place is much cleaner and has a roomier seating area. Haven't really had any complaints about The Burger Shack's food. First time getting the loaded tots - yum! read more

If every day was cheat day, I'd be here. I legitimately have dreams about their loaded tots. I usually get the BBQ Bacon Burger and have it cooked medium. One time, I got it medium-rare but the burger ended up waaayyy too greasy and slippery so I switched to medium and it's been perfect ever since. Side note, the buns on their burgers are buttery soft, sort of greasy but I'm okay with that because it makes it delicious. Also, it's super clean on the inside. Service has been spectacular every time I've been here from when I order to the moment I get my food. It can get kind of crowded on the weekends but, that's to be expected. I don't have much to say, except that it's a really solid burger place in Ashburn (what we needed tbh) and that I'd like to come back here and try everything else on their menu.
