Another blast from the past! When my brother and I were younger, I vividly remember my Aunt taking us to the then RVA location (currently Buz and Ned's near Broad and Parham) because a lot of little league teams would celebrate there plus they had yummy food! While in NOVa we decided to visit the Ashburn location and it did not disappoint! Customer service was great , helpful and welcoming! The decor was a lot like the other locations we've visited (we've been to the then Woodbridge location as well as one in 757 and not like the OG restaurant but the Ashland location is good too). Mimi and I opted for the 1/2 lb combo (she added bacon and cheese) with wedges (could've been cooked and seasoned more but ok with cheese sauce (3.3/5) and I opted for no additional toppings but to I did upgrade to onion rings (great portion but your run of the mill o-ring 3.1/5). Both burgers were seasoned well and a great portion on homemade buns toasted and buttered perfectly and just like back then you add your own condiments and toppings like lettuce, tomato etc...slight disappointment in that their toppings bar didn't offer the diced onions, relish, mild peppers and pico but everything was fresh and well kept. Mixed situation. What's to like: The fries are thick cut steak fries style. They are cooked perfectly and have a great seasoning. The burgers are thick and flavorful. I like being able to add onions and other condiments myself. Downsides: Burgers are overcooked. I asked for med rare and got med well. It was raining last night and this location has more than one hole in the roof. They literally had bus pans out to catch the water. Price point is high relative to the quality. The 1/2 pound bacon cheddar burger I got was $14.49. That's roughly the same price as the vastly superior bacon cheeseburger at Melt in Leesburg. read more

Was in Ashburn to pick up something, and it was lunchtime so we decided to eat nearby. My wife found a Fuddruckers, and remembered how I would always say good stuff about the place. So, we decided to have burgers and it was such a great decision. Stepping inside was like going back in history. The decor looks the same as how I remember it. I haven't been to a Fuddruckers in over a decade- I thought this place went out of business. Went to this location for a friend's birthday on a Saturday night (party of 30). The host called and made a reservation. Service was great and reservation seamless. I had the 1/3 lb burger and split a chili cheese dog. Both were awesome. The burger topping bar (leaf lettuce, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles) was packed with ice cold, fresh toppings. The kids meal comes with a free cookie that is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I tried my friend's chocolate shake and it was delicious. It's been a while since I have been at this location and restaurant. My son has never heard or been to Fuddruckers. The place is kinda old and rundown. They really need to renovate. The back area was leaking rain from the roof to the dining areas, hence the buckets. My son got the Wagyu burger and I got the bison burger. It took about 10 minutes to get our made to order food. My son remembers the Fixins Bar at Roy Rogers and this place had a bigger condiments bar. He loves making his own customized burger. One thing Fuddruckers should do is label what burger is what. Overall the food was good and so was the service. I assume the young men working there look like High School football players working a part time job over the weekend. I got the 1/2 pound " the work" burger($12) with cheese fries. It came out in about 10 minutes and had mushroom and bacon with topping bar. Burger was juicy but on the oily side. I've been a fan of Fuddruckers for a long time and love coming here with the kids now so they can enjoy the experience also. My kids often have activities nearby and I'm a regular, stopping in to grab dinner to go, or get some work done while waiting for a kid. The restaurant is spacious and offers booth areas where I can tuck away and take some calls while enjoying a shake. Family owned restaurant, & they give back to the community, service is great and everything comes out fast. Haven't been to a Fuddruckers in years and made the 20 min drive to see if it was what I remembered. I was kind disappointed. What happened to the bottomless fries? The condiment bar was surrounded by fruit flies. The overhead lighting/bar area was covered in dust. All of the tongs were tucked under the condiments, very unsanitary. I haven't been to a Fuddruckers in 15ish years, and my husband had been talking about it for a while. So we decided to come here when we were back for the Holiday's for a nostalgia kick. When we got here, it was very much the same Fuddruckers we remember. Even the decor was the same. My husband, father in law, and I all ordered Combo #1: 1/2 lb burger, a drink, and potato wedges. We were given one of those alert square indicators that would let us know when our order was ready. We picked a table and were super happy to see the fixing bars still there. And an arcade. Once our order was ready, we went up and grabbed our food. I loved being able to put my own toppings on the burger. And super happy they had the nacho cheese machine. The burgers were so good. The buns are buttery and delicious. It hit the spot. Our cravings were very much satisfied. It was a lot of food, I probably should've gone for the 1/3rd lb burger. Thank you to a friend. When so many Fuddruckers shut down years ago, I mistakenly thought all of them were gone. Yet like a phoenix out of the ashes, this one stood strong. What a joy it was, to dine with my son here yesterday. This is a real burger spot. You can order a 1/4th pound or up to a pounder. We went with the half pound. What a delight to have potato wedge fries again! The fixings bar and in house bakery are here too. We will certainly be back soon. My son is a picky eater, yet finished with a empty plate. Their 100% angus beef was perfectly cooked, and the dining area was clean and comfortable. Yes it's a drive, but here it's worth that. Some of my happiest memories were at the Fuddruckers in Annandale, especially when their kids meal came with a free cookie and a modest fee for a milkshake upgrade. Fast forward 30+ years. The fix-ins bar isn't as good (I miss the spoon for tomato salsa and relish) but the selection has evolved (ostrich and bison burgers, gluten free, etc) to the point where I do not have to be in a nostalgic mood to look forward to my next lunch there. Maybe a little less dancing by the kids behind the counter and paying attention to what the customer is paying for. I ordered a hamburger and wanted a hot dog but I like to have relish as a topping. Last time I came here they ran out and not a problem. Today I asked ahead of time if they have it and he said yes it's behind the counter and they will put it on. So my buzzer goes off and I go get my order and the guy dancing by the stove says oh we don't have relish right now. I told him then I want a refund and he said he couldn't do that and kept dancing to whatever music was playing back there. I wanted to jump the counter and explain myself more clearly to that dummy. Dad used to take us to Fuddruckers as kids, so this place is complete nostalgia. This is the closest Fuddruckers to home and so its convenient. This place is perfect for our little one. The ambiance is laid back in here and very kid friendly. They offer burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, cookies, etc. I love that they have a produce bar where you can add sliced tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles and other condiments to your burger. Lets not forget about the complimentary Fudds Cheese Sauce which is dangerously good. Dip your fries in them, yum! Their burgers aren't the best out there but still quite flavorful. The burger buns are well made and fresh. Every kids meal comes with a free cookie as well. I love how generous they are with the milkshakes. They have a little game area towards the back of the restaurant, which is nice since our 2 year old doesn't like sitting in one place for long. Employees are all friendly and helpful.
