    3 piece chicken,Mac n cheese, fries biscuit

I have been awaiting their opening for a while. Earlier reviews looked intriguing as well. My first visit was on a Sunday only to discover that due to staff shortages they were only doing drive thru. So I returned later when the diving run was open. The menu seemed pretty standard and fairly priced for the area. First respondersand seniors can get a discount. I ordered the three piece dark meat chicken with fries drink and biscuit. I also got a side of Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was pretty standard Velveeta like sauce that you'd find at the major chicken franchises... nothing special there. The chicken...well, If you took KFC original recipe and mixed it with their extra crispy, that's what you could expect here. It was crispy, hot, and juicy...all good to start. But the coating was way too salty. The fries were pretty good. Crispy, lightly coated. Better than other places but not outstanding. They would be better uncoated. Overall I'd give it a solid 3 stars. I like to support local, independent businesses and I'll give this new business some time and try again. Watch this space...

Nothing much nearby to eat while my vehicle is being maintenances. Lady at the repair shop didn't give much feedback besides their burger is dry. To play it safe I purchased a salad and fry. Keep it simple!

My Favorite go-to place in Purcellville. You would think it was a copy off of KFC and McDonalds but not at all...the food is freshly made. Great salads, burgers and chicken. It's also exceptionally clean, friendly staff, and relaxing background music.

Never thought I'd find myself writing a review for a fast food joint but alas, here we are. I'm 7 months pregnant and all I wanted was a fat cheeseburger and fries. It was ON POINT. we needed something like this around here. I got the #1. The burger kinda reminded me of Wendy's. Fries were awesome and perfectly hot. These are my FAVORITE kind of fries. Crunchy crispy coating. Oh man, I'll be back. My pictures don't do it justice. I was in a rush. Baby was kicking & needed to EAT.

Ordered large combo meal of chicken Tender(3 pieces) we asked for a extra piece and they said it's 1.99$ extra for piece. They counted 2.47$ for the extra piece. They said , they put extra fries. This is what we got for 17$ This was my second time going there. Not at all like the first time. I will think twice before going there again

TL;DR: Amazing food and milkshakes!…read more Market Burger is our guilty pleasure. We've even joked about moving to Purcellville just to be closer to it. Whether it's a first date or your fiftieth, this spot always hits the mark. Food (5/5): My go-to order is a double patty burger ($12) (single patty burger is $10), loaded with herb mayo, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and a fried egg (+$1), plus a full order of fries. The burger is juicy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. If you're dining with someone, go for the full order of fries ($8). If you're solo, the half order is perfect. The food comes out on a big circular tray with your burgers and fries spread out. Messy and delicious! They also serve fantastic milkshakes in vanilla, chocolate, or coffee ($9). You can add Snickers, Oreos, or Heath bars for $1. The coffee shake is my personal favorite, and it's made with real coffee! Their fries are on another level. Sometimes they have weird fries specials that are a must-try! They used to have it all the time, now it's a rare surprise. Service (5/5): Service is quick and friendly. On the rare occasion they get your order wrong, they fix it right away. Ambiance (5/5): It's a fast-casual spot tucked into historic downtown Purcellville. You order at the counter, give your name, and grab a table. Sometimes they bring the food out to your table, sometimes you pick it up. Inside, the walls are lined with historic photos of the town. There are about six tables indoor and a picnic table outside on the corner. Free public parking is available just across the street.

I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with pickles. I also ordered the regular fries and a vanilla shake. The fries were very good, a bit on the saltier side, but balanced out with the rest of the meal. The shake was good, but I did not think it was over-the-top incredible. I thought the burger was a good value. The fries were too based on how much you get, but the full portion size was so huge that you cannot finish it yourself. It is best split amongst 2 or 3. Apparently there are half sizes, but it is not advertised on the hand paper menu, so I did not know it was an option. The overall price of the meal gets to be a lot if you factor in burger, fries, shake. If I were to come back, I would would do just the burger and a half order of fries, and skip the rest.

The place was busy (as to be expected on a Saturday night) but they were well staffed. Service was excellent! I wish I could remember our server's name. She was very attentive and had no problem keeping up with my boyfriend drinking gallons of tea. I tried it, I can see why, they have really good sweet tea!! I had the BEST Hefeweizen and we started with an order of calamari to share which was cooked perfectly. It was served with some sort of mayo-based sauce which I don't like, so I asked the server if they had cocktail sauce. "We don't.....but I think I can make you some!" She came back a few minutes later with a cup of cocktail sauce they whipped up for me!!! For entrees, he ordered the filet. It was a beautiful cut of steak, tender, and cooked perfectly. I was craving fish n chips but my friend had demanded I try the jagerschnitzel....so I ordered both lol. I'm going to have leftovers for days and I'm not mad about it!! Both meals were incredible and very generous portions. Fish was perfectly crispy and the gravy on the jagerschnitzel....mmm....I don't even have words! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming with a variety of seating options. I tend to have anxiety in crowded spaces but I was perfectly comfortable here. The beer selection is awesome, they have an exceptional Heffervisen. However, the service has always been sketchy. I'm giving it a one star because this last experience earned it. We were seated at a table that lines up against the wall, guy brought water over, and then nothing. No one ever talked to us or even acknowledged our presence. There were not a lot of customers and most of the staff were very busy on their cell phones. After 10 minutes we talked to a busboy, I think, because they don't seem to have a uniform, and asked if we even have a waiter or waitress. He went over to the hostess (only person that actually did their job) and it looked like he yelled at her. Lot of finger pointing. After another 7 minutes (I timed it) we called it and were starting to get up when the water guy came over to take our order. We said not a chance, thanks, goodnight. Both my wife and I have worked in the service industry, we treat staff well, we tip well at 30% at least, and we don't bitch a lot. When I write a critique it's usually in the hopes that the manager or owner will reach out, say they are making corrections, and then we will try it again. If there is nothing then that's exactly how much of our business they get in the future. Easy fixes, pick a uniform, train your staff, manage your staff, and make sure they keep their cell phones out of sight of the customers, no one wants to see that. Thanks, hope to hear something back.

They have a few parking spots in the front with additional parking in the back. I would say this is more of a deli/sandwich shop featuring a few Greek items on the menu (gyros, dolmades, souvlaki, etc.) as opposed to a full-on Greek bistro/cafe. I will note that their catering does have more Greek variety (pastichio, spanakopita, moussaka, etc.). We called in a pick-up order for lunch. Online ordering is also available on DoorDash. Food was ready for pick-up within 15 minutes. I got the regular gyro on pita bread (just the sandwich, not the platter - the platter comes with a side salad... I wish they had fries as a side option instead of chips or a salad, but if they're not really frying anything else, I get it... but I digress). The gyro came with a good amount of thick slices of the gyro meat (which is a mix of beef and lamb), tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce. I'm used to red onions served with my gyro, but they used white onions instead (not a big deal, but the red onions give the gyro a different bite). The gyro came in a thick, fresh pita and a small handful of potato chips (I wasn't aware that the sandwich came with any sides, so the chips were a nice surprise). No complaints about my gyro, but I would've liked some feta on my gyro and more tzatziki. I think next time, I would get the platter because then I could use the salad to add some more toppings and sauce to the gyro. Overall, the gyro was a good, filling serving size for me, and the price was reasonable at $11 for the gyro (it's $13 for the gyro platter aka gyro + side salad). We also ordered the King Gyro on pita bread (double portion of meat; $15) and the Gyro Salad ($15). The king size's gyro portion was definitely more substantial, and it also came with a handful of potato chips plus an extra container of tzatziki. The Gyro Salad was a simple Greek salad with gyro meat and pita pieces. Dressing and tzatziki were served on the side, and it was topped with feta. The veggies were fresh and crisp - again, no complaints. We also ordered a Reuben ($13) thinking it would be a classic Reuben served on rye, but note that they only have two bread options - a sub roll or pita bread. Ours was served on the roll, so it ended up being more of a Reuben sub/panini. The sandwich was still enjoyable, but it wasn't what we were expecting. My Deli & Cafe is a solid lunch option in Purcellville. Support local!
