It's fine for a quick bite in the morning on a walk with my dog. The bagels are a bit tough so the sandwiches can be hard to eat and dry. I do like their service and the ambiance is perfect for Old Town Leesburg. I've tried them a few times and not much improved. Probably will go again if its convenient but won't go out of my way.

I've visited BKD Bagels a couple of times now - both for breakfast sammies. BKD is located in a really old house in Old Town Leesburg. Most of the parking spots are around back behind the business. The first time I ordered the "People's Champ": Cold-smoked Lox, plain cream, cheese, tomato, red onion, and capers - on a Jalapeño-Cheddar bagel. Overall, a tasty version of the classic - I wish they also added some fresh dill to it - that would have put it over the top. I also would have liked a bit more capers to add a bit more brininess to it. The second time visiting - I ordered the "Hangover," on a Jalapeño-Cheddar bagel: Sausage, fried egg, American cheese, cream cheese, and a hashbrown. Overall - tasty - but really messy to eat. The addition of the cream cheese makes the whole thing want to slide apart as one is eating it. Next time - I'll have them hold the cream cheese and replace it with extra American cheese. Both times I also ordered a cold brew. Their cold brew is pretty good. There is seating on the main floor, as well as in several rooms upstairs. Paid with Apple Pay. Service was good! #BKDBagels

Next time you're in Leesburg you must try a bagel at BKD! I highly recommend the everything bagel. It's delicious. And the amount of cheese they give you is amazing!

Came here for breakfast on a friends recommendation. First thing I wanna say is that they have a big variety of type of bagels to choose from which is really nice. They got everything from sweet (such as chocolate chip) to savoury (like spicy everything) bagels. They got different sandwiches and you can pick what type of bagel you want with it, or you can also make your own sandwich. I got the hot and bothered on a spicy everything bagel and it tasted good. I wasn't blown away or anything, and it was kind of pricey. My favourite thing I tried from here was their whipped cream cheese! It's a small shop so there's limited tables and seating, but it's got a very cute atmosphere. They're also pet friendly! The staff were very patient and fast at making the food.

BKD Bagels is a bagel shop that offers small batched, hand-rolled bagels in DT Leesburg. The menu offers bagels with shmears, sandwiches, create-your-own items, and drinks (coffee, tea, mimosas, etc.). We came here for breakfast, wanting to check out their bagel options. We ordered: +the 'cado toast - open-faced, topped with avocado over-easy eggs, pickled onions, deli dressing, sea salt, and crushed red pepper on any bread of your choice; we opted for the plain bagel - the hubs enjoyed this; it was freshly prepared, but a little 'drippy' with the deli dressing; pickled onions weren't necessary, but a nice add-on for those who are into pickled/vinegary toppings; definitely a messy item, so you'll need a fork and knife +a jalapeno-cheddar bagel with lox & scallion cream cheese - the bagel is automatically toasted; this is a considerably large bagel, I felt, which had a nice mound of melted cheese on it; it could have been more spicy with the jalapenos, but there wasn't any kick to it; the amount of cream cheese provided was overly generous, which could have been used to shmear another 1-2 bagels! Service was friendly and welcoming, and there were a handful of tables inside as well as some on the porch for al fresco dining; a popular spot with the locals, it seems, as there was a line and multiple to-go orders placed. A good option if you're in the Leesburg area! +good tasty bagels +friendly staff +limited street parking available

No complaints here! I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast bagel sandwhich!! I ordered from Doordash and the food came with no mistakes I got The Hangover on an everything bagel. It comes with hash brown, egg, sausage, cream cheese, and cheese. I opted the sausage for bacon. Definitely will order it again. The sandwhich alone on Doordash was $13 but I think it's cheaper in store.

Noms! The hangover bagel sandwich was HEAVY but really good. It makes sense why it's named hangover. Service was friendly and fast. I got a pager for my sandwich and it only took about 5-10 mins. It's a very cute place and gives you some small town feels. Bagel was really fresh and soft! Stop in if you get a chance to try!

My first time here and a solid bagel spot. I got the hot and bothered bagel sandwich (without bacon) and it was delicious, the hot honey really made it!. Friendly staff and quick service.

I happened to be in the area during a weekday and stopped by since I heard their lines were crazy on the weekends. I parked in the back and it was really easy. I placed an order for a custom everything bagel with egg & cheese and added tomato & onion to it, which is my go to bagel. The service was prompt and friendly. The aesthetics of the place are cute as well but it was freezing inside and I even went upstairs to see if it was warmer it was not. The bagel itself was really small compared to most places and I didn't think anything special. I'm not a big eater but for $6 or $7 can't remember for just one egg & cheese bagel seemed steep and I think they literally just put one egg inside of it. I usually give my husband half of my bagel sandwiches this wasn't the case. I'm just happy I didn't wait in line for mediocre bagels. Also they charge $4 for a coffee can when I can get a specialty latte elsewhere for the same price. Their drip is also self serve but at least that wasn't overpriced.

I only wish I had discovered this place sooner. The food: I ordered the People's Champ to share with my partner. As a big fan of lox bagels, this sandwich immediately stood out to me. We got it on the jalapeño cheddar bagel, which was delicious. My only complaint was that it tasted a little too salty because of the amount of capers, but aside from that, it was super yummy. I also ordered the Iced Nilla Berry Latte, which came with a raspberry cold foam. The cold foam flavor was very faint, and there was barely any coffee taste. Overall, it felt a bit watered down. Danielle, the owner, was up front taking orders and was incredibly friendly and welcoming -- the kind of personal touch that makes a place feel special. I ordered the brown sugar iced latte featuring their house-made flavoring, and it was absolutely delicious -- smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. Paired with the Lox Star on their rosemary salt bagel, it was the perfect breakfast. **** updated response to owner ***…read more I hear what you're saying about space and production limits, but that's exactly the point. If your setup can't support the volume and variety you're offering, then the issue is planning, not just space. Offering 16+ flavors while running out of plain bagels (or any bagels for that matter) before 10:30am isn't a demand anomaly, it's a mismatch between your menu and your capacity. Make fewer varieties, produce more of the basics, and you don't lose customers walking out. This isn't about comparing you to high-volume shops, it's about getting the fundamentals right. Plain bagels are the baseline. If those are gone, the rest of the menu doesn't really matter. End result is still the same, long wait, no product, lost sale. ***** Waited 12 minutes at Weird Dough Bagels this morning just to be told they were out of multiple bagels, including plain. Plain bagels... gone before 10:30am. If your concept is 16+ flavors, maybe figure out how to not run out of the one thing every single customer expects you to have. This isn't "high demand," it's bad planning. I'm from New York and I've never seen a bagel shop miss on basics like this. And in all the years going to Bodo's Bagels, I've never seen them run out of bagels, period. As a former café owner, running out of core items isn't quirky or artisanal, it's a failure. Walked out without ordering, about a $50 ticket lost because you couldn't manage inventory on the most basic product you sell. Do less, do it better. Right now it's neither.

THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THOSE TOP 10%-ers! * Conveniently located (even though I hateeeee that little gummed-up stretch of Main Streer in Fairfax!!) but the shop is on the little side strip out of the fray of the main retailers Ace Hardware and TJ Maxx. Lot parking is abundant for a quick in and out if you're grabbing to go. * SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF and FAST, EFFICIENT SERVICE - I went in around 9AM on a Sat - no long line - walked right up to the counter and ordered - sat at a table and my order was called about 10 minutes later. * It was bfast time and I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sando $8 on a lightly toasted ET bagel - delicious and they didn't skimp on any of the ingredients! The bagel was big, hearty and chewy. A perfect breakfast to go. * PRICES ARE VERY FAIR and I felt I got good value for what I paid. $13 basically for a bfast sando and a bottle of juice (drinks are always a rip-off - $3.50, half the cost of my sando but it is what it is...) * The inside of the restaurant itself is sorta small and cramped - as you walk in, the left side is the ordering side, the right side is the seating area with a good amount of tables and chairs - most importantly, they keep the place neat and clean which is a big deal to me. It's a little dark and drab in ambiance/decor and I could see it getting a bit chaotic if the place fills up and with long lines at the counter. On nice weather days, there are some outside tables. I don't come to this area of Fairfax all that often - just happened to be in the area that morning and literally searched for a bagel place on Yelp and hardly any came up. Fortunately I happened to be close by. When I'm in the area again AND happen to be hankerin' for a bagel sandwich, I'll most definitely come back here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS INDIE BAGEL SHOP IN DOWNTOWN FAIRFAX!
