I stopped in on COLD day to pick up some coffee and sourdough bread. The coffee was pretty good and kept me warm as I walked back to my car. They had a decent selection of baked goods, coffees, and teas.

The food was delicious. I had shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries. The drinks were tasty and they have happy hour 7 days a week which I love! The service was a bit slow but hospitable. The floor was broken directly under my chair which was a bit of a challenge. Super cute vibe and definitely a great place to grab a bite

This a great downtown Leesburg bar/restaurant. It has seating everywhere. Great happy hour starting 2pm. The happy hour bites are pretty good. A very causal place to relax and enjoy drinks and food with friends.

I hate writing this review because I don't want you here. Night Shift is the coolest little speakeasy bar ever. Hard to find but well worth it. Tell them what you want and they will build it, and it will be great. Quiet place with nooks and crannies to hang out in. Music is fine, atmosphere is ultra cool. Can this be my private place?!

They get a four because of their cinnamon rolls which are flaky and very layered like a croissant with cinnamon sugar, sticky, sweet goodness. It is thick and doughy in the middle and this location is very well known for their cinnamon rolls. I can definitely see my boyfriend coming in here just for that. Their brunch is OK but nothing necessarily to write home about. It makes for a very good brunch place after a night out of drinking, but the Hangover is very heavy and oily and greasy. The biscuits and gravy were also good, but not necessarily outstanding. Pretty good mimosas though!

Great food, cozy vibes, and lovely staff! Sidebar is one of my favorite spots -- I've been there several times, and every visit has been a great experience. The appetizers and main dishes are always delicious, and the cozy, beautifully designed atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a meal. The staff are friendly, polite, and all professional, which adds to the overall positive experience. One thing to keep in mind: make sure to ask for the appetizer to be served before the main course. In my experience, they sometimes bring everything out at once -- even though it's called an appetizer for a reason! Highly recommend this place -- definitely worth visiting.

Came here tonight with a party of 8. Despite no reservation we were able to be seated quickly. We opted to sit inside due to the summer heat. However, I do not believe there was AC on inside and there was a decent amount of bugs (wasps and flies) Our sever Shea was great and attentive. She also did not rush us. The food and drinks were excellent. Love sidebar !

Still a great place to grab a great afternoon lunch, the Cali chicken sandwich was flavorful and not dry! The bread was also a great option, not too soft and not too hard and held the sandwich together! The service was speedy which I enjoyed a bit

I stopped by just for coffee on a rainy afternoon and it was a nice little pick me up. The space is tiny especially compared to the restaurant next door, so it's more conducive to grab and go rather than to sit inside. Service was very fast and friendly, and the barista was kind enough to hold my order while I used the restroom. I got the cold brew and it was strong and flavorful. They offered a variety of flavors, alternative milks, and sweeteners to customize your drinks. I would stop by here again and maybe try a pastry next time.

We enjoyed brunch at Sidebar! Cool vibe inside and a cute outdoor space that's dog friendly. Friendly staff as well. We ordered the Hangover skillet and crabcake Benedict and both were tasty. Solid spot overall!

I stumbled across SideBar Coffee this morning - - it's a tiny little coffee shop on South King Street in Old Town Leesburg, VA. I ordered a cold brew with a splash of Half n' Half. A lot of places will make a cold brew that is strong but does not taste great - or they'll make one that tastes great - but is not very strong. SideBar nails it on both counts - their cold brew is strong - gets the ole neurons firing; and it tastes great! It's a small place - a very limited amount of seating inside (no seating outside). The building is very old - lots of old, exposed brick gives the place a nice ambiance. Service was good. They do not currently accept Apple Pay. When I inquired as to why they do not support it - I was told their POS is to old. It's time for an upgrade! #SideBarCoffee

We started with the guacamole and Spinach & artichoke dip and both were great. The chips were super salty, which I loved. Service was not the best. Took about 20 mins for someone to come take our order but the food was fantastic. The shrimp tacos were some of the better I've had. Great bar area and cute patio.

Lots of local items throughout, from the art to the flowers to the hand-thrown cups. The pistachio cold foam cold brew and (local!) chai are my favorites. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels genuinely welcoming -- warm lighting, a relaxed vibe, and staff who actually seem happy to be there. The coffee is exceptional. My go-to is their latte, which is consistently smooth and perfectly balanced -- never bitter, never over-roasted. It's clear they take real care in sourcing and preparation. The espresso has great depth and the milk is steamed just right every single time. The space itself is cozy but not cramped, making it ideal whether you're catching up with a friend or settling in with your laptop for a few hours. The pastries are a lovely bonus -- fresh and worth every bite. Leesburg has no shortage of coffee options, but Second Nature stands apart. It feels like a neighborhood gem that actually cares about its community and its craft. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality cup and a genuinely good experience.

This place is just stunning...the dining area, stairs with positive messages, the ordering/"shopping", even the bathroom! The service is just exceptional, above and beyond. It was a seameless process to make the reservation online and edit as needed. There were automatic emails and texts for the reservation confirmation and reminder. Each afternoon tea includes 2 pots of tea, 1 macaron/person, and additional bites (savory & sweet). Luckily, there were 2 of us, so we each ordered our own teas. I'm not sure how flexible they are if requesting additional tea pots for larger parties (max 8 people). The weekdays tea is $35/person, weekends $40/person (needs a reservation). There is an 18% gratuity to all the final bill regardless of the number of people in the party. I would highly recommend the Thai tea...I don't add any sugar or cream to my tea and it was still so tasty. I ordered the coconut macaron, which is the newest addition the the macaron family. Parking: there is parallel parking available in front of and around the establishment. There is also a parking garage roughly 1 block (walking distance), which is free on the weekends. If planning a visit on the weekdays, be sure to read the parking signs carefully. I would definitely return to try other items on their menu.

Towards the back of the store they have a lot of cute toys and accessories for kids. The store is very clean, pretty and well organized. Sitting inside is very limited, only a couple of tables but they also have a patio with more tables and chair and a play house for kids. The ice cream was very yummy and served very cute- with a purple cone and a macaroon! My girls thought this place was awesome.

Walk-in's are welcome, but I wanted to ensure we could come at the time we wanted. Parking was a but limited, but available early when they opened. The shop owner was so kind and was very thorough. She was hospitable and walked us upstairs to the cat room, introducing us to the cats and telling us about each of their personalities. The cats are all rescues looking for a forever home. What a great way to introduce them to people! There were tons of toys to use to interact and play with the cats. There was a basket of combs and some really enjoyed being brushed. They had several bowls of food and water and were very well take care of. The warm cookie was delish and tea and coffee were also available. Upon leaving there are lint rollers available because cat hair is inevitable; however, the cat area was very clean and tidy! The air purifiers helped, especially because the doors couldn't be opened in the winter. There is a screened in balcony I assume can be used in better weather. My daughter loved this place and wants to go back! While the experience was a bit pricey, I know it's going toward a good cause.

The space was well-maintained, clean, cozy and decorated cute! It did not smell and we could tell the staff takes really good care of the cats and their living area to ensure they feel clean, safe, and comfortable. All of their cats at the café are available for adoption through their rescue partner Last Chance Animal Rescue. Such a great way to meet and interact with the kitties (and fall in love with all of them!) before deciding if you mesh with one and are interested in adopting. They also have a book of information on adoption details and a bulletin board that features the cats in a humorous way so you can get to know them! Overall my experience was fun and a relaxing way to spend the afternoon hanging out with cute cats! Happy to support this small woman-owned business as well :)
