Went to Sunday brunch today and it was one of the best brunches I've had in ages! The avocado toast was fabulous, as was the waffle...and the bacon was incredible!!! My friend had the shrimp and grits and thoroughly enjoyed it. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive and even made coffee special. I am looking forward to going back (probably next week). We ate outside; both the setting and the weather were beautiful.

    Amazing Valentines Menu

I can't say enough about the new management and owner of BRX! First off, Valentines menu was superb. Steak cooked to perfection, lobster was buttery and delicious, lobster bisque was off the chain. YES CHEF! But once again their amazing wine menu just knocked our socks off, plus a delicious "French Kiss" cocktail for our dessert.(GO SEE MARKO at the bar) I loved this place before when Ash owned it and I love it even more as my beautiful date was overjoyed by the amazing service and romantic ambiance. We can't say enough.

Truly enjoyed my first dinner experience this evening at BRX. The cream of mushroom soup with truffle oil was exquisite and the mushroom flat bread with goat cheese is a must. The Chef special Beef Bourguignon was tender and perfectly seasoned and the pork chop was yummy. The sea scallops according to Mom were "muy delicioso"! We will definitely be coming back for more......

First time dining at this Restaurant with my dad and partner! We were pleasantly surprised by the nice decor as soon as we entered! Very spacious with a lovely bar with tables and booths in the front and a very nice seating area in the back with fireplace and large sliding glass doors that open up to a beautiful patio! Dining inside and out! Started with the delicious beet salad (nice portion) Entree: I had the salmon with rice and artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomato's. Excellent dish, salmon was cooked and seasoned to perfection! My Dad had ravioli with short ribs and meat sauce and my partner had short ribs with veggies! They both enjoyed them their dishes immensely! See photos.. I would have given this restaurant five stars but the service was not good! First they forgot the watermelon salad we ordered and our waiter had some sort of attitude and never came back to see if we needed anything and I also had to wave him down to get the check. The person filling the water glasses, only filled one glass and walked away even as I tried to get her attention to fill the other two, she avoided us the plague! Our waiter was definitely annoyed by something and really didn't care about our table! Anyway, I would definitely go back because the food was amazing and fresh and beautifully displayed!

Wasn't sure what to expect but am really glad we went! Service was wonderful, atmosphere was relaxing, & food was exceptional....best mussels I've ever had. We will definitely return!

The chicken piccata was excellent and the salmon with Jasmine rice was delicious. The fries was great with the burger.

I think the chef got a little overzealous when seasoning that batch. Haha. The asparagus came out and it looked really good. The taste was a match! It was our first time and we weren't sure how things worked so let me help you out if you are reading this. A small plate is indeed a small plate of whatever you order. You can share to you cannot. But if you go the small plate route , you'll want to order between 3 and 4 items per person. The large plates are meals. The atmosphere was as expected. This would make a good date night. You could dress up or you could dress down. Either way, you'll be right at home. Our waitress Gabby did a great job and she was super helpful. My wife is allergic to rice so Gabby made sure to check with the chef about cross contamination and what was good for her on the menu and what not. Super appreciative of that. My wife tried two different sans spirits drinks. The espresso tonic. I tried it also. Big no! It has tonic espresso and grapefruit juice. Those did not vibe. We sent it back. She then tried the Purple Rain and loved it. All in all, it's a good spot and I'm glad we tried it. I think next time we will go exclusively with the large plates. The small plate route was kind of expensive for what we got and we didn't get a lot of food. We both actually left hungry. We are not drinkers but we accompanied two of our friends who are and they enjoyed the wine selection.

I've been dining here since I was in High School - trying to impress my dates - and 35 years later it's even better than I remember. I even got engaged here 15 years ago. The service here is just unequalled. I walked through the front door and was immediately greeted by name - they just know somehow (magic). And the server became a good friend by the time we left. The ambiance takes you back to old-world France - simply gorgeous. The food was amazing as usual. I had the Beef Wellington with foie gras and it was cooked perfectly. The wine was amazing. Everyone loved their food. They knew it was our friend's birthday and brought them a free little desert treat. More than ever, L'Auberge is not just a restaurant, it's a magical experience worthy of being a culinary destination. Loved it and can't wait to go back.

And, if you get lost easily even with GPS, you might arrive with the gift of daylight. Especially if you are not familiar with Great Falls. The drive does really double the charm of the meal, here. I love the old world aesthetic of L'Auberge Chez Francois. It is intimate, elevated, classic and offers many diners Alsatian meals to remember. I used my hiring bonus to take a new hire here. We both enjoyed steaks. It's been awhile but I loved the French Onion Soup and whatever fabulous steak they were offering that season. I just took a look at the current menu and if I was ordering this season, the Chateaubriand de l'Auberge - for two - is looking like the winner. I think they have their own garden which the vegetables with the steak come with. We went in the evening, so I didn't get to see the lush gardens pictured on their website. And I am sure the béarnaise and truffle sauce are divine. I might have enjoyed a hot soufflé here. The current soufflé options, aside from the dessert tray, are Grand Marnier, Chocolate and Raspberry. Where else can you find 3 variations of soufflé? For that matter, where can you enjoy soufflés, at all? Definitely check their event list for the special wine dinners and musical events at www.laubergechezfrancois.com. Happy Hours are on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6pm. At time of writing, their famed Garlic bread and salads range between $6 to $10 and small plates range between $15 and $20. Craft beers, wine and cocktails range between $7 and $12. L'Auberge Chez Francois is a lovely and special place to dine and celebrate.
