    Salmon Kabob platter
    Jessica A.

Mediterranean food is my favorite, and Village Grill did not disappoint! We started out with the pita and hummus, and I simply fell in love with the bread. I probably ate too much bread honestly, but I just couldn't put it down. For my entree I ordered the salmon kabob platter with rice and salad, and I loved every bite. Great food to have after a long hike in Great Falls!

The food was pretty good. A small but quaint restaurant. The food was pretty good and the prices were not bad. They seem to do a lot of takeout. Service was friendly.

Staff at end of lunch serving.

Highly recommend! We were visiting the Great Falls Park and finished our hike at lunchtime. Car GPS recommended Village Grill only 8 minutes away. We tried it and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent, tasty food. The pizza was excellent and hot. One in our party had gyro wrap; she commented several times on the freshness of the ingredients. I thoroughly enjoyed the apple salad with delicious grilled chicken. The service was great. Atmosphere clean; they have outdoor seating. I will come again when I revisit the area with Grandchildren.

I love the fresh, plentiful food here and cheerful service. Grilled meats, a glass of wine- what could be better?

Thank you for your interest in our restaurant. Currently, we are using Halal meat for our chicken and Lamb Kabobs.

I think the chef got a little overzealous when seasoning that batch. Haha. The asparagus came out and it looked really good. The taste was a match! It was our first time and we weren't sure how things worked so let me help you out if you are reading this. A small plate is indeed a small plate of whatever you order. You can share to you cannot. But if you go the small plate route , you'll want to order between 3 and 4 items per person. The large plates are meals. The atmosphere was as expected. This would make a good date night. You could dress up or you could dress down. Either way, you'll be right at home. Our waitress Gabby did a great job and she was super helpful. My wife is allergic to rice so Gabby made sure to check with the chef about cross contamination and what was good for her on the menu and what not. Super appreciative of that. My wife tried two different sans spirits drinks. The espresso tonic. I tried it also. Big no! It has tonic espresso and grapefruit juice. Those did not vibe. We sent it back. She then tried the Purple Rain and loved it. All in all, it's a good spot and I'm glad we tried it. I think next time we will go exclusively with the large plates. The small plate route was kind of expensive for what we got and we didn't get a lot of food. We both actually left hungry. We are not drinkers but we accompanied two of our friends who are and they enjoyed the wine selection.

EXCEPT when the check comes and there is a $20 dollar open bottle fee that was never told To you. When we asked they simply said well it's on our menu. So our $30 bottle of wine now cost us $50. What a freaking rip off. This should be reiterated by the waitress when ordering to ensure customers are aware. I've been dining here since I was in High School - trying to impress my dates - and 35 years later it's even better than I remember. I even got engaged here 15 years ago. The service here is just unequalled. I walked through the front door and was immediately greeted by name - they just know somehow (magic). And the server became a good friend by the time we left. The ambiance takes you back to old-world France - simply gorgeous. The food was amazing as usual. I had the Beef Wellington with foie gras and it was cooked perfectly. The wine was amazing. Everyone loved their food. They knew it was our friend's birthday and brought them a free little desert treat. More than ever, L'Auberge is not just a restaurant, it's a magical experience worthy of being a culinary destination. Loved it and can't wait to go back.

And, if you get lost easily even with GPS, you might arrive with the gift of daylight. Especially if you are not familiar with Great Falls. The drive does really double the charm of the meal, here. I love the old world aesthetic of L'Auberge Chez Francois. It is intimate, elevated, classic and offers many diners Alsatian meals to remember. I used my hiring bonus to take a new hire here. We both enjoyed steaks. It's been awhile but I loved the French Onion Soup and whatever fabulous steak they were offering that season. I just took a look at the current menu and if I was ordering this season, the Chateaubriand de l'Auberge - for two - is looking like the winner. I think they have their own garden which the vegetables with the steak come with. We went in the evening, so I didn't get to see the lush gardens pictured on their website. And I am sure the béarnaise and truffle sauce are divine. I might have enjoyed a hot soufflé here. The current soufflé options, aside from the dessert tray, are Grand Marnier, Chocolate and Raspberry. Where else can you find 3 variations of soufflé? For that matter, where can you enjoy soufflés, at all? Definitely check their event list for the special wine dinners and musical events at www.laubergechezfrancois.com. Happy Hours are on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6pm. At time of writing, their famed Garlic bread and salads range between $6 to $10 and small plates range between $15 and $20. Craft beers, wine and cocktails range between $7 and $12. L'Auberge Chez Francois is a lovely and special place to dine and celebrate.

I had not seen this dear friend for over a year and so we met in the lobby and decided to just "stay in" and enjoy Entyse.
