This is such a solid brunch spot. It has everything! I can order something on days when I'm craving a healthy breakfast or on days when I want something that makes me feel like a big back lol. They usually have a seasonal menu which is nice to try new options. They have full bar options, juices, coffee, teas, and mocktails. You can also get health shots and juices. I love to typically order the Trifecta as a waffle girlie. What I ordered: Cheesy grits 10/10 Blueberry cornbread 8/10 Bacado omelette 10/10 Frittata Rustica 10/10 Service was fast, informative, and kind. Overall, a great experience! Was hesitant to try to the sausage gravy and biscuits because it's turkey sausage. But I did and...OMG NOM NOM NOM that's good!!! Biscuits are obviously fresh-made in some sort of skillet biscuit recipe - they are fluffy, light, with a crispy crunch base. The gravy is absolutely to DIE for!!! Eggs were ordered over medium - arrived exactly how I'd hoped. Wifey had the eggs benedict -said they were perfect. Place is a bit spendy...but worth it. Wifey even told me we've spent as much at Taco Bell recently; so there's that. The issues my group had are related to service. My friend ordered the multigrain pancake but was served a buttermilk pancake and no syrup. She had to request it once she was able to get someone's attention. Our server never offered refills, never cleared plates or trash like empty creamers, didn't replace our empty water carafe or coffee pot, and had the temerity to ask us to leave a review, giving us his name several times. When we went to the register to pay, we evenly split the bill three ways. The automatic tip suggestion was not based on the 1/3 of the bill but on the whole bill. That is really shady and seems purposeful deceptive. We can't be the first guests to point this out, so how many others have erroneously tipped off the full bill vs their portion? Food was very good. I was very excited to see that they opened up a new location in Sterling! It is in the building where Outback used to be. Every location I have been to is very consistent. The food is fresh and beautifully presented. I had the Tri-Fecta. I chose two eggs over easy, pork sausage links and a huge blueberry pancake which comes with a blueberry sauce and a generous amount of soft butter as well as a warm carafe of maple syrup. It was a birthday breakfast and I was truly disappointed. I know it was busy but we also were in the front and the service was not great. we ordered everything all at once only for our surroundings who sat after us to get their food first. Their orders looked more complicated then our eggs bacon and a waffle. We also ordered sangria pitcher light ice and the whole pitcher was full of ice. Nothing light about it. We went here for brunch and had the Farm House Hash with the Million Dollar Bacon on the side, Floridian french toast and side of fruit. It was a 45-min wait so if you're in a rush, go elsewhere. They were pretty packed and the line kept getting longer. The place is decorated nicely and they had outdoor patio seating. Bathrooms were clean. Our server was attentive enough. She took our drink orders and we got the morning meditation and blackberry tea. They were actually very tasty and was one of the best part of our meal. We got our food faster than our wait time for the tables so that was good. The food was just ok to be honest. Nothing to rave about. The potatoes was not cooked all the way and there was hardly any cheese on it so it was pretty bland. I had to put a lot of ketchup on it to make it taste better but underdone potatoes just doesn't hit it right for me. I'm glad we ordered a side of bacon because they inly gave you so little of the bacon crumbs (I asked to have it kn the side). The Floridian french toast was not bad, the fruits were actually the highlight of the dish so I ate most of that instead. The waitress gave us our check right after our food arrived which I thought was weird but not a big deal. I think it's nice but it's prolly not worth the 45-min wait (IMHO). We went to First Watch in Sterling VA, and the experience was incredible. When we walked inside, we were greeted right away and got seated. The waitress did an amazing job, she took our drink orders and food orders with such great hospitality. She was attentive and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious, the pancakes and scrambled eggs were to die of how delicious it was. The building itself showed a welcome vibe. The style of the building felt warm and didn't show a standard blend vibe. This is a new location. I normally visit the Leesburg location but I prefer this location since it's more spacious. I ordered the lemon curd pancakes with extra berries and lemon curd in the side. One of the best treats on the menu if you love lemon.The service was great and the staff were courteous. I witness a moment that touched my heart. A young woman maybe late 40s was assisting a much older elderly woman to the restaurant's entrance. I'm thinking I should grab the door before I could leave my seat an employee hustled to the door before they made it to the entrance to assist them. Today's service today was very good, but the ambience was very uncomfortable. We were eating in the patio area, but at 2:00 one of the employees started moving chairs around. They close at 2:30. An employee started turning chairs upside down on tables (3 of the 6 tables were empty, 1 of they still had not been cleared). I was assured 3 different times that there was no rush, but being right next to the six top that was empty, it still made me feel rushed. The manager said she asked her employee to put up the chairs. I had been out running errands in my own when I got hungry. First Watch was nearby. I had been to other locations before and had great experiences. When I entered, there was no one at the front counter and several people waiting to pay their bills. When it was finally my turn, I was confronted with "JUST one?," like I should somehow be ashamed for grabbing a quick bite in my own (I'm not). The hostess/server brought me (more like hid me) to a table immediately next to the kitchen entry/exit, under a noisy vent blasting cold air. I went to lunch today and my 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad took about :40 minutes to arrive and after all it was the wrong sandwich. Send it back and after :20 additional minutes they brought me the same order with the incorrect sandwich. Once the order finally came my melt sandwich was not melted and it was still somewhat not the right order. I ate it as I was starving by then. Place was pretty empty too so I don't understand why it took so long. Don't go here if you only have one hour for lunch, you won't make it. Oh, and I didn't realized until later that they charged me for two coffee instead of one. My wife and I went there for the first time. First impression is poor. There was no one to greet us or seat us. We wait some time, several wait staff saw us and did not bother to help or get anyone else. Once seated the menu is geared for the younger audience. There is only one simple traditional breakfast on the menu. Our waitress was great, the kitchen slow and didn't get the eggs right. We sent the eggs back twice. I really wanted this place to work, it is bright, modern, and fresh, to look at. Sadly, the service is not there, and the food, hit or miss. I ordered Eggs Benedict and my wife, a salad. Mine was served first, stone cold. It was dropped off, with no cutlery, so I just looked at it for the next ten minutes before someone came back. I explained it was cold, and they took it back to make another one. Then my wife received her salad, ate the entire thing, and 15 minutes later, my new EB arrived. It was weird, EB was fine, but had a huge handful of lettuce there too. Just odd. After finishing, we waited for another 15 minutes for the check and in the and, we just got up and walked to the payment counter, and finally got the check. Then the payment took another 10 minutes, as someone entered something wrong. Just a bit of a mess. I don't expect it to be here long, unless they hire a really good manager, I for one am over it.
