Daybreak is a small food hall style place to relax and hang out. The menus are limited so make sure you check with your picky eaters to see if there's something they enjoy. All the food is straightforward Americanized, I had the burrata over toast and it was a little dry and boring since there wasn't really any sauce and it was a little expensive for not having any sides and the service being counter service. Looks like they have some fun events every so often so check their calendar!

We had breakfast there on 12/15/2024. My had the breakfast wrap with sausage. It was very tasty. Hashbrowns did seem to be homemade. I believe it was called the daybreak special. It was biscuits, sausage gravy and eggs with hashbrowns on the side. The biscuits were light and fluffy, delicious. The sausage gravy was pretty good, there just wasn't very much of it. I would have liked more sausage gravy on my biscuits. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Hashbrowns weren't anything special. Hashbrowns didn't seem to be homemade. A very tasty meal. I am torn on rather to give 3 or 4 stars. I would give 3 1/2 stars if that was an option.

Food quality has declined since I first went here Fried chicken just isn't the same quality as when they first opened Service was slow for 6 orders, 4 of us got our food pretty quickly but 2 of my friends waited quite a while for their food to come out Plenty of seating inside though for large parties

Such a cute place! I was not really sure what to expect but I wanted to meet my friend who lives in the area for brunch. I was really excited to see the pictures of mimosas for $12! The food was really good and the serving size was huge! I would definitely be back again if I'm in the area.

My girlfriend and I have been here quite a few times. I feel like it's been consistently good. I've had quite a few of the biscuit sandwiches and personally love the Nash the most. I'd say the southern Cali is second for me. But recently they've added waffle sandwiches to the menu and that's a game changer! I got the Nash with the waffle instead of the biscuit this time and it's gotta be my favorite. The waffle is soft and fluffy and the sausage gravy goes well with it. The service here is typically quick and friendly. It's inside of a little food hall so you order at the counter and they give you a buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready. The ambiance is open and welcoming to large groups. They even have an area that can be rented out with a greenery wall. Some nights here have trivia, live music, etc. so that may impact your time here

Although I do like their biscuits it's not the best biscuits I've had in town. We came a little later in the day on a Sunday and the biscuits were hard AF. The components in the breakfast sandwich were good though. I got the Southern Cali and my bf got the homeboy which doesn't come with any chicken so FYI. We added a chicken to it but a grilled patty was apparently $5. Which is crazy because the homeboy is already like $12. Also, home fries is like $5 and is not included with your food. Tip: There's a cool local vending machine with fun gadgets There's live music on Sundays There's a $5 mimosa deal There's good drinks, plenty of group seating, and Senor Ramon's us also here

Stopped by Daybreak K&B to try their biscuits and chicken sandwich. The overall ambiance was nice and welcoming. It's more of a small foodhall. The sandwich and biscuit were ok. The batter was thick and hard. The chicken inside was small, thin and dry. If in the area I'd try again to give another chance.

The southern cali was delicious, but it just fell apart so we ate it open face. The biscuits and gravy were money; the breakfast wrap was well made and the extra gravy for dipping was a nice touch.

Great biscuits and fast service! This place is next door to Crooked Run brewery so it's nice to sip on craft beers and eat brunch food! The loco biscuit I got was a little dry, I wish there was some kind of sauce. The biscuit texture however was still great! Flaky and buttery! The sandwiches look small but are actually really filling, so I think $11.50 for sandwich is pretty good? The spicy chicken sandwich was moist and delicious!

A cool biscuit/brunch spot in an inconspicuous location. Nowhere near close to my home but me and my girl were out in VA for another event. I had the Nash biscuit, my girl had the Loco and we shared home fries and Bonuts. Yes our eyes are always bigger than our stomachs but who knows when we'll be out here again! The biscuit sandwiches were good and definitely hit the spot. We seemed to have arrived at a bit of a rush and had a lengthy wait to receive our order - biscuits were baking and we were told it would be about 20 mins. Unfortunately it took longer and that rush on ordering also created a rush on pick up. Many orders were placed together in the pick up area (an open spot on the counter under the warming lamp) and just as many people were hovering maskless over those orders looking for theirs. Yuck! I was annoyed when I found our food just about ready (only missing the bonuts) and the server took the home fries from our tray and placed them on someone else's order. That wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't have to wait another five minutes for more home fries to come up. And our tray was sitting off to the side of aforementioned warming light so our sandwiches got a little cold. The annoyance was amped up a level when I asked for ketchup after only finding 1 packet in the container. She rudely snapped out her response of them being in the container....let's just say when things get hectic they seem to lose their cool. This place is popular and busy so I'm sure this wasn't the first rush they've dealt with. Sooooo - to wrap it up. I'm glad to have tried Daybreak as the food is pretty good for a "quick" casual spot. The pick up experience left a bad taste. I recommend trying it if in the area.

My GGF and I were looking for a yummy spot to brunch on a Sunday after a long day at a wine festival. We stumbled upon this food hall - thanks Yelp - and checked the menu. The biscuits sold us! Now there's outdoor and indoor seating at this food hall place...We ordered the bonuts, home fries and two breakfast/biscuit sandwiches. After about 25-30 mins, our freshly made order was ready. It was a little crazy picking up the food as the workers place it in an area where people congregate - I didn't like that - who wants people breathing over their food before they are notified to pick it up? I should have snapped a pic of it but either way it wasn't appealing...or appetizing. Anyhow, the biscuit was yummy - nice and hearty but a little dry. I asked for honey and got maple syrup so I kept it moving. The bonuts were yummy! Definitely worth it which is where this spot redeemed itself! If you're not a "food hall" fan, move on to another spot but if you don't mind folks standing over your yummy food, give it a go!

    Dave C.

Food was mediocre. We ordered the nash and southern cali. Chicken was poorly seasoned - they gave the same chicken for spicy and regular. Breading and chicken meat was consistent of a frozen chicken patty. The toppings were not cooked to description ... caramelized onions were pretty raw. The sweet potato fries were good, and the ambiance was nice!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!…read more I posted a review several months ago about Ridgetop CoffeeTop consistently running out of coffee and giving customers a 16-ounce cup when they actually paid for a 20-ounce cup. As a result of that review, I spoke with Christina, who manages the shop. She was genuinely sincere, apologized for the issues, and assured me that things were going to change. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. On Friday, July 10, at approximately 9:30 a.m., I visited the shop again. I was the fifth person in line, looking at my phone, when I heard the first customer being told they had no coffee. He immediately walked out. The next two customers ordered iced tea. The fourth customer, who was directly in front of me, ordered two cups of coffee. I clearly heard the employee tell him there was no coffee available and that he would have to wait 5 to 10 minutes. Although he was obviously frustrated, he agreed to wait and took a seat. When it was my turn, I asked the cashier if I had heard correctly that there was currently no coffee. She confirmed they were about to brew a fresh pot. I pointed out that five customers had already been in line and that this was a coffee shop with no coffee available. After already turning away one customer and asking another to wait, only then were they starting a new pot? The cashier responded with an attitude, saying, "You'll just have to wait 5 to 10 minutes." This is exactly what I discussed with Christina months ago. I simply do not understand how a coffee shop can repeatedly run out of coffee. At a minimum, there should always be another pot brewing or ready so customers are not left waiting 5 to 10 minutes after placing an order. That is poor planning and poor customer service. It is clear that nothing has changed since my conversation with Christina. I asked if either Christina or Dan, the other manager, was available, and I was told there were no managers on duty. At that point, I walked out. I cannot recommend spending your time or money at a coffee shop that repeatedly fails to have coffee available. It would be like going to a grocery store with no groceries. If a business specializes in coffee, customers should reasonably expect coffee to be available.

The dish comes with fries. To drink, I had ginger ale while my husband had a Heineken 00. Our server was friendly and efficient. He made a mistake, bringing my husband a Coke instead of the beer. My husband corrected him. He apologized and retrieved the correct drink. The burger was dry and overcooked. It was more on the medium well side. In one way, I didn't mind that as I didn't end up with greasy hands or a burger that falls apart. The bacon and the cheese provided some relief from the dryness. The fries came out hot, which we appreciated. All in all, it was an OK experience; we would consider going again sometime.
