Great place to grab and go. This spot has been here for years and has never let me down. Bagels are delicious and fresh! Highly recommended!

Fresh Nova Lox Bagel

Great bagel spot if you're looking for a quick breakfast! Definitely a solid 4/5 here for me. The Food: I went with the tried and true, Lox Bagel with red onion, capers and cream cheese on a plain bagel. The bagel was toasted nicely, there was a fair amount of cream cheese, however, the lox was a little on the saltier side for my liking. Overall, the bagel was good though. The Service: When I walked in, the menu was pretty straightforward and the staff got my order and had me on my way in a daily good pace. Overall, I had a nice experience here to fulfill my bagel craving. The Lox bagel was good, a little saltier than I've had before, but that's just my opinion. I'll be back again!

These are genuine water bagels with at least a dozen flavors to choose from. They have a chewy exterior that crisps with toasting and chewy but tender crumb. On the day that we ordered, there were no egg bagels (a favorite of our family), but I don't know if their selection of bagels rotates. Friendly and helpful staff. All the standard bagel sandwiches are available, but there is no pork roll (Taylor ham) available for the Central Jersey bagel enthusiast. Ham, bacon, and sausage are on the menu. Bagels are good as is, toast nicely, and make a great sandwich. The bagel sandwiches are good. The smoked salmon on my lox bagel was pale and subtle in flavor, what one usually would get when ordering Nova, but it made for a tasty sandwich, if not distinctive or particularly flavorful. It was served with cream cheese, red onion, and mild-flavored capers. My dining companion' s bacon, egg, and cheese was good, though he said it was a little skimpy in the fillings--keep in mind he's a Jersey boy accustomed to a bagel that's stuffed to the point of requiring one to unhinge one's jaw in order to take a bite:single egg, single slice of cheese, two slices of bacon. We also picked up a dozen of mixed flavors, and they all seem excellent. We will definitely return to this spot when we are in the area.

At 9a this place has almost no selection. Rule # 1 at a bagel place- lots of salt bagels. This place never had any. The everything bagel (below) has only sesame seeds and nothing else. I'm done with this place. It used to be okay but it's gotten really bad. I think it's under newer ownership. The Manhattan bagel in Clifton is worth going out the way for.

Been going here for 10 years! It's a little outdated on the inside, but I think it adds to the atmosphere. The food speaks for itself!

Bagel was so hard it was almost impossible to eat and I ordered a tuna melt than was thrown together like a sandwich.

There are a few unique bagels such as rosemary sea salt and onion garlic and various spreads such as fig and five pepper cream cheeses. There are also a few cold and hot sandwich options such as lox, pastrami swiss (get it on an everything bagel), and BLT. There are also plenty of different drinks in the fridge (different brands of cold brew, juices, etc) along with hot coffee and teas. Service is friendly and there's plentiful seating inside if you choose to dine in. They also have online ordering for convenience as well.

Additionally, they have accept monetary donations that allows them to give out free meals for those that need it. If someone is in hard times, they can do to the wall and grab a "coupon/ticket" for a free bagel with spread and a coffee. It's incredibly kind and generous system they have for those in need in our community! The food is SO delicious! I have gotten the Lox on an Asiago Bagel twice and they were very consistent with the lox toppings. Weekends are quite busy so expect a wait time but during the week, you can be out in and out quick. Highly recommend!

I was there to pick up a sandwich for lunch and witnessed very entitled customers treat the staff disrespectfully. Unacceptable. These men and women wake up early and are there everyday with a smile and a positive attitude and people walk into their business and speak down to them. No. Not on my watch. If you eat here, order from here or ask anything of the people tha work here- they deserve respect. The food is great. The tuna, is real, and the sandwiches are hearty. They have a little dining room and lots to choose from and the workers behind the counter deserve your respect and support.

In a word OUTSTANDING. Truthfully, there aren't too many bagel places left out there anymore in the…read moreNoVA area and the ones that are still out there, only about 10% of them are decent, serving authentic, quality bagels and bagel sandwiches. THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THOSE TOP 10%-ers! * Conveniently located (even though I hateeeee that little gummed-up stretch of Main Streer in Fairfax!!) but the shop is on the little side strip out of the fray of the main retailers Ace Hardware and TJ Maxx. Lot parking is abundant for a quick in and out if you're grabbing to go. * SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF and FAST, EFFICIENT SERVICE - I went in around 9AM on a Sat - no long line - walked right up to the counter and ordered - sat at a table and my order was called about 10 minutes later. * It was bfast time and I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sando $8 on a lightly toasted ET bagel - delicious and they didn't skimp on any of the ingredients! The bagel was big, hearty and chewy. A perfect breakfast to go. * PRICES ARE VERY FAIR and I felt I got good value for what I paid. $13 basically for a bfast sando and a bottle of juice (drinks are always a rip-off - $3.50, half the cost of my sando but it is what it is...) * The inside of the restaurant itself is sorta small and cramped - as you walk in, the left side is the ordering side, the right side is the seating area with a good amount of tables and chairs - most importantly, they keep the place neat and clean which is a big deal to me. It's a little dark and drab in ambiance/decor and I could see it getting a bit chaotic if the place fills up and with long lines at the counter. On nice weather days, there are some outside tables. I don't come to this area of Fairfax all that often - just happened to be in the area that morning and literally searched for a bagel place on Yelp and hardly any came up. Fortunately I happened to be close by. When I'm in the area again AND happen to be hankerin' for a bagel sandwich, I'll most definitely come back here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS INDIE BAGEL SHOP IN DOWNTOWN FAIRFAX!
