First time visiting Fairfax Bakery and I really liked it. It's a small, cozy café and bakery with a nice relaxed vibe. I tried the veggie classic breakfast and it was delicious. Overall, a simple but great experience and definitely worth coming back again.
Fairfax Bakery is such a cozy hidden gem. The coffee was excellent, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the bakery selection was amazing. Everything tasted homemade and fresh, especially the sweets and pastries. You can really feel the warmth of this family-owned business from the moment you walk in. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or coffee break. Definitely coming back!
Wow!! I was on my way to a client and figured I better eat first. My #1 bagel shop was a tidge too far so I searched on Yelp for something that would have to be phenomenal for me to try. I found this place....Turkish style bagel with kalamata cream cheese. Holy moly!! Absolutely delicious!! They have lots of other delicious offerings. I will be back!
Tried a variety of the pastries and everything was pretty good. My favorite was the carrot cake!

We wanted to try something new so we had the traditional Turkish style breakfast. It was good. We added Turkish sausage to it. Service was awesome. They were very friendly. Solid choice for breakfast if you are in the area.
My colleagues recommended this place and brought muffins from here. Went to check it out on a random Wednesday morning and it was packed with students, locals, and people getting ready to go to work. They had an assortment of what I believe is Turkish pastries and baked goods. They have a reasonably priced menu for sandwiches. I was sad they didn't have their coffee muffin but tried their coffee cake arabica muffin and it was just as tasty. The coffee was standard in flavor so I will try their lattes next.
My first visit to this bakery. As soon as we walked in, they greeted us. She answered any questions and provided suggestions. We already had plans to eat at an Indian restaurant, so couldn't really think about eating anything. However, there were so many different muffins and they looked so pretty in the display case. I still didn't know what the items on the ither side of the case were, so I skipped those. My mother wanted thw almond croissant, but it looked almost a week old, so that was a hard no. I decided on the chocolate with cream cheese muffin. The employee suggested getting 4 muffins as a better deal, but wasn't in a muffin mood, I couldn't even think about having 4 muffins at the moment! We kept the muffin in the hot car while we went to Woodlands, then walked around Lowes. Once we reached home and finally tried the muffin, it was actually soft and moist! There were a few customers therè, a decent number of tables and seats. Once I checked in on Yelp, a 10% coupon popped up. I would like to try this place again but on a day when I don't already have lunch plans.

I have been here a couple of times, and since I was in the area, I decided to pick up some baked goods for breakfast on-the-go. I ordered: +the Pogaca - Potato +Spinach & Feta Both were just okay - the breading is super dense and thick, and I just wished there were more filling; the filling was more on the bland side, but the pogaca had a bit of chili flakes in there, giving it a bit of a kick. Note that if you get yours to go, they don't ask if you want them warmed up; not sure if that's even an option if you're not dining in. The cafe itself is cute and cozy, and there seemed to be regular locals who take advantage of their breakfast spreads. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot. +cold pastries +friendly staff +ample parking
Always a lovely experience at Fairfax Bakery! Food and pastries are fresh and delicious, ambiance is welcoming and cozy, service and staff are impeccable. The Turkish breakfast took me back to mornings in Istanbul and the Turkish tea was perfect! The Simit was baked to perfection. Highly recommend the chocolate cheesecake muffin as well! So moist and tasty!
FOOD We had their orange cranberry muffin, and it was a sweet surprise! I wasn't too sure on the combo, but it was the perfect sweetness level and wasn't too dry (though still would be best served with a hot tea or coffee!). DRINKS We ordered a large vanilla latte to-go, and it was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the creaminess was just right. Would definitely return to try their other caffeinated drinks! SERVICE The staff are incredibly warm, bright, and friendly! AMBIANCE The cafe itself is very homey and inviting. I saw a lot of families visiting to grab a quick bite to eat or to relax and talk. Some patrons were working on laptops inside the store as well. PARKING Ample parking is available in the lot before the store that is shared with neighboring vendors.

Cute little hole in the wall spot. We came for boxes of coffee and they were able to help immediately. I also asked for a "frozen hot chocolate" which he made on command and asked if I prefer a frozen or cold. Did an excellent job. read more
This is my second time here and this place is such a cozy place with a great variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches and baked goods! I got the chicken and cheese my first time here and it is so affordable and the workers are so friendly. It was a delicious and so filling. Today I got the northern tradition with the pita bread and a passion fruit smoothie. I loved the omelette inside and the sausage was delicious. Smoothie was refreshing and the price is great! You can even add whey protein in it as well. read more
Came here for breakfast and tried the Southern classic breakfast sandwich on wheat bread with ham. Taste was good but i feel like I could make this at home so I probably wouldn't go for the breakfast sandwiches again. What does make this place worth is the owner who is so nice and welcoming and they have such a huge variety of muffins and other pastries if you like sweet treats! Overall a friendly neighborhood spot with very reasonable prices. And good coffee! read more

Delicious muffins, we got cinnamon (coffee cake), Georgia peach, and rainbow sprinkle ones. However the real star of the show is the Pogaca! We got a meat one which was really good, and the veggie one was awesome too. Staff is lovely and everything is very clean. read more
Went to this place for breakfast and there are so many options! We got a Southern Classic on a bagel, a tahini roll, blueberry muffin, and a Turkish bagel with cheese and parsley. We also tried the Turkish coffee. The service was great- they answered our many questions and talked us through how to drink the Turkish Coffee. The food was delicious! read more

My husband and I had been intending to go here for a long time, and finally made it! The place was packed and for good reason. All the baked goods here are made in house and the staff definitely knows how to make you feel welcome. We intended to take her food to go, but ended up staying and chatting for almost an hour. This is the type of food you can't really find anywhere else. It was worth the drive. read more

We got a box of muffins to go in the morning. See pics for what we got. 4 muffins were able to fit in a box, they were that big! I tried the cranberry, coconut, and sprinkles one. I appreciate that they have a good selection to fit the adult and child taste buds. The muffins themselves are not too sweet and are very fluffy, moist, and crumble away when you take a bite. I personally recommend the cranberry one. One of my friends did find a piece of an eggshell in their muffin. But otherwise these are delicious fresh muffins. read more

I've been living in Fairfax for years and somehow only found out about this bakery today?? This is an American and Mediterranean style pastry place. They have loads of muffin flavors and multiple flavors of baklava. I got the pistachio baklava and the chocolate raspberry muffin. The baklava was buttery, flaky, and syrupy - delicious. The raspberry chocolate muffin was AMAZING. It was the best muffin I've had all year lol - moist and chocolatey and the raspberries were fresh. Such a good combo. They also serve Turkish coffee here! I'm not super into Turkish coffee but it tasted very good and was served with a Turkish delight, which was... delightful! It had a very pleasant chewy texture and a nut in the center. 10/10 the savory pastries are everything!! I tried the spinach and feta, ribeye and mozzarella, and the potato. I loved the first two I mentioned, they were both incredible. I would skip the potato next time, it's very plain, basically a pastry filled with mashed potato. I also tried the Boston cream pie muffin and it was delicious as well! Very generous portion and great flavor. I visited around 9am and there was a lot left, however at least 6 customers arrived after me. Don't sleep on Fairfax bakery! read more
So pleased with my first experience! The Turkish tea was delightful on a rainy day, and the cheese boreq was a flaky, herby treat. Staff very friendly. Seating comfortable but somewhat loud for remote work. Was told that weekdays are the best time to visit because weekends sell out quickly and have a line out the door. am so thankful to have found this amazing spot. I had a wonderful interaction with every employee on the clock. I especially appreciate the woman who I only know as one of the operators/ partners. I accepted every recommendation and had an amazing breakfast because of it. The spinach and feta Phillo savory dish had the perfect consistency. The Turkish coffee was delightful and I also had their dark blend brewed coffee from Austria. The brewed coffee was delicious and quite the contrast from the popular coffee joints which require cream/flavor/sweeteners to be palatable. This Turkish-American bakery offers a range of treats from Turkish pastries to croissants to very American-looking muffins. I opted for the Turkish breakfast platter which consisted of scrambled eggs, veggies including olives, assorted cheeses, and a Turkish bagel (Simit) with orange marmalade and honey. Sounds like a lot, but portions were reasonable. Good coffee and friendly staff. A great way to start the day. read more

Muffins! Located right beside our favorite bubble tea joint, we had to drop by Fairfax Bakery. This place used to be called My Favorite Muffin and when it closed down we were so sad. Fairfax Bakery has similar muffins, so not sure if they changed owners or storefront names? Either way, so glad their muffins are here and boy are they well made. Flavorful, fluffy, made with quality ingredients, and the portions are very generous. Employees are very kind, helpful, and wrapped our goodies neatly. They offer breakfast items, sandwiches, bagels, croissants, pastries, coffee, tea, etc. We will definitely be back to try their Traditional Turkish Style Breakfast. 10% off when you check-in on Yelp. This spot is so cozy and cute! They had a huge variety of muffins, as well as a good assortment of pastries. The interior is tiny but they do have some tables and offer free WiFi! Five stars for vibes for sure. I would give the food a 4, the things we tried were on the slightly blander side. The ribeye pastry was tasty, as was the turkey and cheese croissant. We tried one of the potato Turkish pastries, and I wish the potato filling had some flavor or seasoning. The hot chocolate came out the perfect temp but tasted more like steamed milk. Will need to come back and try some of their other food options! read more
