    Breakfast Platter

This place is so delightful. Was meeting a friend and we ended up here. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a quaint bakery that has delicious offerings. We wanted to try something new so we had the traditional Turkish style breakfast. It was good. We added Turkish sausage to it. Service was awesome. They were very friendly. Solid choice for breakfast if you are in the area.

A busy morning indeed! Love their coffee muffins and fresh brewed Vienna blend!

My colleagues recommended this place and brought muffins from here. Went to check it out on a random Wednesday morning and it was packed with students, locals, and people getting ready to go to work. They had an assortment of what I believe is Turkish pastries and baked goods. They have a reasonably priced menu for sandwiches. I was sad they didn't have their coffee muffin but tried their coffee cake arabica muffin and it was just as tasty. The coffee was standard in flavor so I will try their lattes next.

Always a lovely experience at Fairfax Bakery! Food and pastries are fresh and delicious, ambiance is welcoming and cozy, service and staff are impeccable. The Turkish breakfast took me back to mornings in Istanbul and the Turkish tea was perfect! The Simit was baked to perfection. Highly recommend the chocolate cheesecake muffin as well! So moist and tasty!

Single handedly the best bakery / pastries in the area. Ambiance is a typical cafe-within-plaza style. Every other pastry shop uses corn syrup, corn oil, soybean oil, liquid modified eggs or a culmination of those poisons. If you're in the northern VA area .. ensure to check out this place! Friendly staff. Had a chat with one of the bakers who prides himself on quality ingredients.

My first visit to this bakery. As soon as we walked in, they greeted us. She answered any questions and provided suggestions. We already had plans to eat at an Indian restaurant, so couldn't really think about eating anything. However, there were so many different muffins and they looked so pretty in the display case. I still didn't know what the items on the ither side of the case were, so I skipped those. My mother wanted thw almond croissant, but it looked almost a week old, so that was a hard no. I decided on the chocolate with cream cheese muffin. The employee suggested getting 4 muffins as a better deal, but wasn't in a muffin mood, I couldn't even think about having 4 muffins at the moment! We kept the muffin in the hot car while we went to Woodlands, then walked around Lowes. Once we reached home and finally tried the muffin, it was actually soft and moist! There were a few customers therè, a decent number of tables and seats. Once I checked in on Yelp, a 10% coupon popped up. I would like to try this place again but on a day when I don't already have lunch plans.

Fairfax Bakery is a Turkish/Mediterranean/bakery that offers breakfast options, sandwiches, as well as bagels, croissants, and pastries. I have been here a couple of times, and since I was in the area, I decided to pick up some baked goods for breakfast on-the-go. I ordered: +the Pogaca - Potato +Spinach & Feta Both were just okay - the breading is super dense and thick, and I just wished there were more filling; the filling was more on the bland side, but the pogaca had a bit of chili flakes in there, giving it a bit of a kick. Note that if you get yours to go, they don't ask if you want them warmed up; not sure if that's even an option if you're not dining in. The cafe itself is cute and cozy, and there seemed to be regular locals who take advantage of their breakfast spreads. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot. +cold pastries +friendly staff +ample parking

FOOD We had their orange cranberry muffin, and it was a sweet surprise! I wasn't too sure on the combo, but it was the perfect sweetness level and wasn't too dry (though still would be best served with a hot tea or coffee!). DRINKS We ordered a large vanilla latte to-go, and it was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the creaminess was just right. Would definitely return to try their other caffeinated drinks! SERVICE The staff are incredibly warm, bright, and friendly! AMBIANCE The cafe itself is very homey and inviting. I saw a lot of families visiting to grab a quick bite to eat or to relax and talk. Some patrons were working on laptops inside the store as well. PARKING Ample parking is available in the lot before the store that is shared with neighboring vendors.

Coffee cake muffins, rainbow sprinkle muffin, Georgia peach muffin, meat pogaca, veggie pogaca.

Delicious muffins, we got cinnamon (coffee cake), Georgia peach, and rainbow sprinkle ones. However the real star of the show is the Pogaca! We got a meat one which was really good, and the veggie one was awesome too. Staff is lovely and everything is very clean.

Went to this place for breakfast and there are so many options! We got a Southern Classic on a bagel, a tahini roll, blueberry muffin, and a Turkish bagel with cheese and parsley. We also tried the Turkish coffee. The service was great- they answered our many questions and talked us through how to drink the Turkish Coffee. The food was delicious!

    Chocolate pistachio Authentic Gourmet Baklava

I noticed there were quite a few customers inside and how highly rated on Yelp this place was so decided to give it a try while I waited for another store to open! The servers were friendly and efficient. The cafe is small and homey style with some inside seating. I got the Chocolate pistachio Authentic Gourmet Baklava - 3/5 I don't have much baklava so I can't say if it's good for the type of food but it was nice small not too sweet dessert! Heavy on pistachio flavor and nuts can be a bit dry but the baklava itself was moist maybe from the chocolate. Pogaca - 3.5/5 the bread is super fluffy and seasoned! I think the edges are a bit thick and wish the beef reached more into those corners but overall yummy I can taste that the mozzarella is fresh and the filling focused more on the beef inside with a touch of cheese. The beef is not dry at all and tasty but wish it packed more of a punch!

Excellent baked goods and the service was wonderful. If you are looking for a cute place to have lunch with a friend and catch up this is a good place to visit. The ambiance is family owned and they are worth a trip to check it out.

My husband and I had been intending to go here for a long time, and finally made it! The place was packed and for good reason. All the baked goods here are made in house and the staff definitely knows how to make you feel welcome. We intended to take her food to go, but ended up staying and chatting for almost an hour. This is the type of food you can't really find anywhere else. It was worth the drive.

We got a box of muffins to go in the morning. See pics for what we got. 4 muffins were able to fit in a box, they were that big! I tried the cranberry, coconut, and sprinkles one. I appreciate that they have a good selection to fit the adult and child taste buds. The muffins themselves are not too sweet and are very fluffy, moist, and crumble away when you take a bite. I personally recommend the cranberry one. One of my friends did find a piece of an eggshell in their muffin. But otherwise these are delicious fresh muffins.

Not many places offer a blackberry option, so that get extra points. The salted Carmel brownie was inhaled...so yea it was awesome as well . They are very detailed and beautiful pieces, definitely on the pricier side but I think of it as a novelty/special occasion item. Now, they seem to be producing desserts continuously to keep up with demand. The location appears to be in a former McDonald's building, which gives you a sense of the space, it's fairly large. There are a variety of seating options, and it looks like they've added a new outdoor patio as well. There's a small self-service area for some treats, but most items are ordered from behind the counter. We arrived around 8 PM, and it was busy. We waited about 15 minutes to place our order and another 15 minutes to receive our drinks and desserts. We tried the Yuzu & Limoncello, Rocher, and Café Au Lait desserts (each around $9.40), along with a tiramisu latte ($6.40). Everything was delicious--creamy, well-balanced, and full of flavor. Prices are on the higher side. The cashier was friendly, though it seemed like they might have been understaffed. That said, the team handled the crowd well. Overall, it's a nice spot to check out if you're already in the area, but not somewhere we'd go out of our way to visit.
