Pastry wise they are known for their fruit shaped cakes, dot cakes, and most recently their viral fruit ice cream bon bons. They also have a few savory snacks and pastries in a little case but that kind of felt like an after thought. My mango cloud matcha latte was light, airy, sweet, and fruity. Mango + matcha is an amazing flavor combination and I was a big fan. Unfortunately the dot cake was kind of a bummer. It looked really nice but all the sprinkles disintegrated as soon as we put our fork in and it had way too much cream cheese frosting. My favorite was the bon bon ice creams. $24 for a little pint that you can bring home. For the past week whenever I was feeling like I needed a boost, I would head to my freezer and omg it was the best! Crunchy, crispy, cool, with different flavored fruit ice cream inside. It was absolutely delightful. Place was buzzing but luckily the lines have died down so it's not impossible to grab one of their pastries anymore. My family visited on a random evening just before dinner. When you walk in, it feels like a cross between a coworking space and a bakery. There's plenty of seating, and the space feels welcoming and well designed. When you're ready to order, you step up to the counter where you're greeted by the most unfair display of desserts imaginable. They're basically smiling at your back and waving your diet goodbye . My family and I ended up trying almost one of everything, with the exception of anything containing nuts since we're all allergic. If I'm being honest, the more acidic flavors were the standouts for me. Anything with lemon or lime was fantastic. The lavender and strawberry options were good as well, but their flavors were much more delicate and subtle. The customer service was great. Even though the place was busy, the staff genuinely seemed to care about doing a good job and taking care of customers, which was very much appreciated. To order, you stand in line and one of the people behind the counter plate your desserts and takes your drink order before you pay. We got the cafe au lait and the raspberry. The cafe au lait was ~$6, the raspberry was ~$12, and each of the drinks were ~$8.50. The cafe au lait was delicious - the mouse paired well with the cake inside and wasn't overpowered by the coffee flavor. The raspberry, however, was too tart and the cookie on the bottom was really hard to break with a spoon. The pistachio latte was delicious, but the texture of the pistachios in the drink made the experience unpleasant. The mango matcha and strawberry matcha, however, were the perfect amount of sweet. Now, they seem to be producing desserts continuously to keep up with demand. The location appears to be in a former McDonald's building, which gives you a sense of the space, it's fairly large. There are a variety of seating options, and it looks like they've added a new outdoor patio as well. There's a small self-service area for some treats, but most items are ordered from behind the counter. We arrived around 8 PM, and it was busy. We waited about 15 minutes to place our order and another 15 minutes to receive our drinks and desserts. We tried the Yuzu & Limoncello, Rocher, and Café Au Lait desserts (each around $9.40), along with a tiramisu latte ($6.40). Everything was delicious--creamy, well-balanced, and full of flavor. Prices are on the higher side. The cashier was friendly, though it seemed like they might have been understaffed. That said, the team handled the crowd well. I came here days after the snow storm, so there was no line when I went around 4:30 pm yesterday. Got my mango and strawberry desserts quickly; though, my crème brûlée drink took a while to make due to orders before mine. Workers were friendly. The mango dessert had a hard shell that I cracked through with my fork. It tasted more like lilikoi inside - very tart. I tasted some mango too, but it really tasted more like lilikoi. I saw fruit chunks of what looked like mango but also fruit purée that looked and tasted like lilikoi, but I'm not certain due to this being a "mango" dessert. Still, it tasted great. I can handle that level of tartness. Presentation was very nice. Looked like a real mango. I thought the strawberry dessert would have the same texture until I took a closer look. It was softer in appearance. When I pierced it with my fork, I saw that the outside of the dessert was like firm cream. This dessert had a milder taste. It had some form of strawberry puree mixed with lots of cream. It was a hint too much cream for me, but it was good enough for me to finish. The stem (calyx) of the strawberry dessert was made of fondant, and the dessert was presented on a cookie. The cookie was stuck to the plate and fragile, so it easily crumbled as I tried to scrape it off the plate. It was almost like a Bischoff cookie. The crème brûlée was delicious. It came in a tiny cup. There was a lot of sugar at the bottom of the cup. I wasn't prepared for that. I didn't know these desserts were going to be $12-13 each. It seems a bit much. If they weren't cute looking, I know people would be more disappointed. However, the Rocher and Yuzu & Limonchello cakes were pretty good (and also the cheaper of the cakes). The Rocher had good texture to it, and the Yuzu & Limonchello had more depth than the Lemon cake. My husband and son were hoping it would be sweeter...but for myself and my daughter we love it the way it was. The lemon was not our favorite. We also tried a lemoncello cake which my daughter liked a lot. . Service is pretty quick. Seats are comfortable. This spot is a little expensive so won't be a weekly visit but occasionally for sure! read more
