Egg, Cheese, Pork Roll on Everything bagel
    Jill C.

Ordered online for pickup, since I heard such great things. I ordered the egg, cheese, and Taylor Ham (pork roll) on an Everything Bagel. It did not disappoint. Nice hearty, full sized bagel with great Everything seasoning. Could have used a bit more pork roll but that's the only area of improvement. Best NJ bagel and/or bagel breakfast sandwich equivalent I've found here in the area. Definitely will return!!

I stopped by to pick up a dozen bagels, and overall, it was a solid experience. I believe this place started as a farmers market vendor and has now grown into a storefront. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the amazing smell of fresh bread baking. There's a decent amount of seating if you want to sit down for a quick bite. They offer a variety of bagels, though not a huge selection. Everything I tried tasted pretty good. I didn't get a chance to try one of their breakfast sandwiches, but I'll definitely be back for that. If you're in the mood for a bagel, this is a solid choice.

The bagels and the staff at this shop are amazing. The place has plenty seating, nice to eat in, but I ordered to go. First, my breakfast sandwich was made with love; and if you visit this place you will see why. The staff appears to be a family of mainly women. You will see them working effortlessly at their respective task. Not rushed, but purposely. I did not see the yellow packs of Splenda so I asked the cashier. She said if they had them they would be in the condiments area which I already searched; and she didn't stop there. When she got a break from customers, she went and got them for me. They were in green packaging that I overlooked. I really appreciated her service.

"Light" butter. Turns out it's $2 extra. Soggy from the amount of butter

I feel bad but I'm gonna be 100% honest... $4.50 is ridiculous for a bagel with LIGHT butter. Really no way by looking at the menu of knowing butter would cost $2 extra. Absolutely soaked in butter. No longer crispy because it was soggy from butter.. I was going to treat myself with a churro cinnamon bagel. They need to stop calling it that, unfortunately it was quite tasteless. Took a few bites and tossed it... disappointing. 1 star food but they were very nice.

When I pulled up to Bagel Joy - I was thinking I've been here before... Bagel Joy occupies the physical space that used to house another bagel business. A bagel joint called "Bagel Buddies" used to occupy this space. Apparently the old owners sold the place - and the new owners re-branded. I ordered the Lox on a Rosemary-Sea Salt bagel - toasted. And a bottle of water. My order came up fairly quickly. I noted in the menu description that the menu item included fresh dill - which excited me. Most every place in the area where I've ordered a Lox & Bagel - does not include fresh dill. Fresh dill really makes a Lox & Bagel pop. Lox & Bagel was damn tasty! Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. #BagelJoy

I was excited to try this new bagel place. My takeaways are that: -Staff was friendly and warm. -The place was busy and we had to wait around 10-15 minutes for our order. -The prices are pretty steep for the amount you get. -Flavors were good but nothing spectacular.

TL;DR: solid bagels and good sandwiches (hit or miss) Came here on a Saturday morning and there was a decent line, but it moves quickly. The setup is great, staff is cleaning as tables come in and out, and the cashier is nice and informative. It is cutely decorated inside, and there is seating indoor and outside. FOOD: ~Bagel itself was flavorful and had a nice chew to it ~Sausage egg and cheese (5/5) on an onion bagel (5/5): Sausage they use is so good. Egg was cooked well and cheese was nicely melted. Onion bagel was tasty too ~Pastrami Swiss (2.8/5) on everything bagel (5/5): Unfortunately, was not a fan of this sandwich. The pastrami was almost rubbery, and the mustard was a little overpowering. I definitely want to come back here to try some of their bagels with a spread.

A local bagel shop has received excellent reviews, prompting me to visit with high expectations for a good bagel. Upon entering, we were greeted with prompt and attentive service. We decided to try their seasonal offering, the apple cinnamon bagel, along with fig cream cheese and their specialty breakfast bagel. The apple cinnamon bagel featured small apple pieces and a generous layer of cream cheese, though the overall flavor was rather subtle, lacking a strong presence of either apple cinnamon or fig. On the other hand, Butcher's Egg bagel was quite flavorful. However, the bagel itself was somewhat average, which was a minor drawback. The shop also provides spreads that appeal to children, such as peanut butter, in addition to their cream cheese options. They offer unique cream cheese flavors, including five pepper, fig, and Kalamata olive. I wanted to give another try for better experience.

I feel bad to leave a 3 star review for a business that has been through so much but I do want to be honest. I was excited to come in today to try them and support their business since they are finally able to open. I do understand they are new but it was only our family and one other person in the shop at the time we went this morning around 8:40. It took a very long time to get our full order. And they were fully staffed. The food was just not good quality. The bagels just did not taste the best and we've tried many bagel places in the area. We were not impressed. Inside was nice and clean and they had very friendly customer service. I would probably go back if we are in a hurry and need to pick up quick breakfast for the kids.

My first visit to the new bagel place at Fair Lakes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dough of the bagels was tasty with a good texture. I really enjoyed the bagel sandwich I ordered. The two things I didn't like so much: 1) the Asiago bagel seemed like it was just a plain bagel with some shredded cheese thrown on top at the last minute. The cheese was barely melted and didn't add much of anything to the taste of the bagel. 2) I got a container of strawberry cream cheese to go. The flavor of this cream cheese was really strange. It tasted quite salty with very little flavor of strawberry. I definitely didn't like it and threw out the rest of the container after that first taste.

ough Bagel Joy had to delay their grand opening due to an unfortunate event (you probably saw it on the news, even), they have finally opened. Bagel Joy is known for offering their fresh bagels at farmers markets in the area, and now they have a brick and mortar location. I came during their first day to check them out. I tried a few different things: - Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Bagel on Rosemary Sea Salt bagel - Butcher's Bagel (on an onion bagel) - Everything Bagel with Fig Cream Cheese The fig cream cheese wasn't too sweet that you couldn't taste the cream cheese which was a nice balance. The bagel was also loaded with the cream cheese! Everything here was super fresh -- you could see the bagels in the kitchen being freshly boiled and baked. Everyone was also so nice -- from the person who took the order to picking it up. You could really taste the quality of these bagels. I definitely recommend stopping by Bagel Joy!

    Everything bagel

I bought my first bagel from these guys when they took orders on Facebook and delivered near a shopping mall by my house out of their trunk. I'm impressed with how they went from that to a brick and mortar. Their bagels are sourdough and a good size. I love their onion and garlic bagel but have been underwhelmed by their everything bagel. The proportion of sesame seeds to their ingredients is completely off. They have a sesame bagel in the menu so theirs no need to overwhelm the everything with seedYou can't taste anything apart from the sesame. Their cream cheese options are good and I specially like their chive variety.

Cinnamon raisin bagel, plain bagel, and cream cheese, iced latte
    Casey C.

Overall the place was clean and ordering was easy. I wasn't a fan of the bagels themselves and my cinnamon raisin bagel tasted like whatever savory flavor came before me on the toaster however I know that is personal preference :) I wish they had more of a coffee shop presence as their coffee was lacking with a side station of DIY syrups and creamer. The service was quick and kind.

Checking in was quick and we were seated immediately. Service was excellent. I noticed something I've not seen before (but it's probably been a year since I was last here), beef back ribs! The server explained how they're bribed and smoked and I just had to give them a try... They were amazing! They were actually Stoopid Good, which oddly enough is the name of GAR's BBQ restaurant and that place isn't very good, but these ribs from GAR's seafood concept were excellent! From the outside, it looks like it seats maybe 75-100 people, but once you walk in, you realize it's easily 2.5 times that size. The layout feels open without being overwhelming, which helps it handle the crowds well. Service -- We had excellent service, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. We had a primary waiter, but 3-4 other staff members also stopped by throughout the meal to make sure everything was going smoothly. Whether it was refilling waters, checking on our infant child, or making sure our food arrived on time, the staff was consistently attentive and helpful. Variety -- The menu offers a wide range of both drinks and food. The wine list, in particular, is extensive. There are plenty of options for both lunch and dinner, with a strong mix of à la carte selections and traditional entrées. There's enough variety that most people should be able to find something they'll enjoy. Pro tip -- The restaurant is located inside a very busy mall area, so street parking can be limited. Plan to add a little extra time to your commute and parking search. Pro tip -- There are approximately 10-15 Tesla charging stations within walking distance, making this a convenient spot to grab a meal while charging your EV. Pro tip -- Public transit options to this area are somewhat limited, so driving is likely the easiest way to get there.

The chicken adobo here is tender, fall-off-the-bone perfection, but the real star is the sauce. It's the most flavorful adobo sauce I've ever had--rich, garlicky, with just the right balance of soy sauce and vinegar, plus a slight sweetness that I absolutely loved. You'll be craving it long after your meal, and trust me, it will bring you back for more. But that's not all! We also tried their Shrimp Kalabasa, and it was just as incredible. The shrimp were plump and juicy, the kalabasa (pumpkin) was soft and naturally sweet, and the green beans added the perfect crunch. The sauce tied everything together beautifully, making every bite comforting and satisfying. Despite the humble appearance of this restaurant in the Food Court, the chef here is top-rate--every dish is packed with bold, authentic flavors that stand out. The inside of the restaurant is nicer than expected, with a cavernous and industrial feel. Our waitress was the only one working the whole restaurant. She nonetheless provided prompt and efficient service, including meat cooking, during our meal. We opted for AYCE option for $38. We sampled the spicy pork belly, spicy and regular pork bulgogi, and the thinly sliced pork belly. All the pork cuts had a tender texture and we found the marinades savory and not too sweet, in comparison to other restaurants. The sole beef option I tried was the top blade steak. While tender, the meat was watery and subsequently lacked flavor. We found the banchan and side dishes here weak. Most of the banchan had too much sugar for our palette. Banchan were limited to basic selections such as kimchi, potato salad, and picked radish; some higher end choices such as fish cake would have been welcome. The corn cheese, while gooey, lacked seasoning. The fried rice cakes had a pleasantly crisp and bouncy texture when served fresh, though gummed up after a couple of minutes. The steamed eggs actually had great flavor, but are cooked on the grill such that the bottoms burn. Overall, this felt like a relatively standard KBBQ experience for the area. While the pork options tasted of a decent quality, the remainder of the meal fell a bit flat. While not bad by any means, we experienced no compelling reason to return to the Qui over either a new restaurant or repeat visit to a standby.

Between the three of us, we shared six different meats (and they actually give you so much per order) along with a few sides that were also unlimited. The thin-sliced brisket was actually pretty fatty, so we are unsure what the fatty brisket plate would have been like. The top blade steak was also quite good with the side of salt and sesame oil, but I recommend keeping a good watch on it to not over-grill it. The thin-sliced pork belly was fatty and juicy. Next, we tried the beef bulgogi, orange beef bulgogi, and cumin pork belly. Marinated meats aren't usually my favorites, but my friends really enjoyed the orange beef bulgogi. The combination was unique and surprisingly, it worked well. The cumin pork belly was interesting and flavorful, and I would recommend ordering one to try. As for the sides, I thought the steamed egg had a weird texture. It was definitely not freshly made. The corn cheese was fine and same with the fried rice cakes. My friends enjoyed the beef radish soup, but I found it a bit too bland. Overall, not my favorite AYCE KBBQ in the area, but it was worth going to once.
