Fresh Fruit Bowl - DELICIOUS!! it has banana, mango, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, and honey!
    Linda B.

I ordered from Uber Eats and the order arrived on time. I placed an order for the buy one get one free fresh fruit bowl, a meat, lover, crêpe, traditional batter, and one Caprese Panini. I did ask for avocado in the meat lover crêpe but they completely forgot about it. This is why I'm only giving the four stars. I may or may not try this place again. Just not sure yet... still undecided...

We were in the area for lunch, but first needed coffee. As soon as we walked in, I saw that it was a large establishment with a lot of seating available. It was late morning, but there was no one else inside except the employees. There were 2 self-service kiosks, so I decided to order from there. Unfortunately, I just looked at the pictures and thought I was ordering a $5 latte-type drink with one shot of espresso, and paid for almond milk and pistachio pump only to realize I ordered a shot of espresso. OOPS, user error. I wish I asked the employee if we can get another drink of equal value. There was close to zero human interaction except for when the employee handed my drink. But even then, he didn't say much, just mumbled that the drink was ready. The person making the crepe was busy on what sounded like a personal call. I was thinking of ordering a crepe, but was slightly put off by my error and the lack of customer service. I would return if I come to the strip mall again to try an actual drink, but I will still skip the crepes.

Dulce Crepes may be great if you are looking for a nice crepe to eat but I think that's what I'd only get from here. Walking in here you have the option to order from the counter or from the touch screen kiosk if you are more introverted like I am. Since I was craving something sweet I went with the Strawberries & Cream Crepe with a scoop of ice cream as an extra add on. I ordered the Expresso Macchiato as well because I just wanted some coffee too. The Strawberries & Creme Crepe is great for people that have a sweet tooth itch like me. A crepe with cream cheese, strawberries, dusted with powdered sugar and strawberry jam drizzled on top, it's bound to make anyone want to get it. The crepe was absolutely big, this is definitely something that you want to make sure you have room for. Ultimately sweet, delicious, I don't really have much to say but this is the only thing I can come back for. On the other hand, I will definitely not come back for the Expresso Macchiato. Maybe I am misled by the picture that it shows on the kiosk or perhaps the person who took my order did not understand what I was ordering. My expresso macchiato came out in a small paper cup with some foam on top. I was a bit confused and a bit upset because I thought I was going to get it in a nice cup like what the picture was showing. It was very misleading and I did ask one of the staff members about it. They ended up checking my receipt and just said that it was the correct thing I ordered despite showing them a picture of the item. They corrected me and said that this was correct. That experience was disappointing and so I ended up just drinking it and finishing my crepe. One thing to note that the utensils they have are plastic and I had my knife and fork break on me. They are honestly very cheap and feel like someone could get injured from this. That's just me though. I can't say if I'll be trying this place out soon but if I do, I'll most likely order a crepe. I don't think Coffee is the move here.

First discovered this cute cafe/crepery in 2020, and loved it since! The staff are friendly and inside is always clean and tidy! Love the fact there is a vegan option to almost everything and the coffee is OK! Can be pricey by def worth for a first time!

Wonderful place for all of your crepe cravings! I loved my sweet crepe, which I customized myself. I added nutella, bananas, mango, and a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream. Delicious! My boyfriend got the gruyere mix, which was ham, cheese, spinach and a hint of lemon - it was great! The service was friendly, but veryyy slow. There was only one person doing all the savory crepes, and since the person who makes sweet crepes was busy manning the register, we were done with our savory crepe by the time mine came! The atmosphere was bright and calm. I did enjoy eating the crepes fresh in the store, but to avoid the long wait in the future, I'll just try to order it ahead of time. Definitely recommend dulce crepes!

    Choco crepe: 5/5

TL;DR: great place to fulfill your crepe or dessert craving! I feel like I've had bad experiences with crepes in the DMV area, so I'm glad Dulce Crepes is close by! Everything is made to order, so it may take a minute. They have a variety of crepes/desserts/food. Sweet and savory. ~S'mores Crepe (5/5): I added vanilla ice cream to it. So good! Comes with Nutella, as well ~Choco Crepe (5/5): comes with chocolate ice cream and Oreo bits and Nutella Their crepes are all pretty rich and heavy, but the ice cream helps cut through the richness a little! Everything is so tasty. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for Nutella.

Had the Tropical Blast Crepe. Light and not too sweet. It's filled with Nutella and tropical fruits. Amble seating space inside to hang out.

I had these as delivery so while it was warm, texture was starting to harden. so i heated it back up. the savory crepe did well, the sweet crepe was still quite dense. I appreciate the plethora of vegan options though. The smoky savory feel of the crepe was very satisfying and portions are very large. I would probably opt for the savory crepe even though I am neutral about the vegan cheese used. I would want to try the sweet crepe again in person when it's fresh as I think it has potential as a lovely sweet French crepe vibe. This is definitely a great option though when you're craving a French crepe and want more than just one option. They also have gluten free crepe batter as well which really adds to their options.

Bavarian Crepe - Bavarian Cream, French Vanilla Pirouettes, Dark Chocolate, Mascarpone

One of my favorite crepe places to visit in Fairfax. The batter for their crepe has just the right amount of soft, light and chewy texture to it. Absolutely amazing. I usually get the crepe their Bavarian Crepe but adding hazelnut instead of dark chocolate to it. Absolutely such an amazing desert m. I love the sweet yet creaminess from the mascarpone.

7/22/23 The faces keep changing since I was here last.  The owners of this business now get  vacations. I needed my dinner for later tonight; as well as this morning. Crepes with bacon, cheese and blueberries should do it...delicious.:) The place was pretty quiet and there was no line.   The employees wasn't overly friendly, but they weren't rude either.  I did see the cost of doing business has gone up even more, but like I said, the food is delicious.  I bought two orders of the bacon, cheese and blueberries. I did consider adding grilled onions, sliced up turkey and sliced up green pepers, but those plans were changed. The smell of the bacon on the grill was outstanding.  I sm sure the smell of turkey and onions on the grill would have just as good.  Oh well.  I shall return to this location again soon.

Service was quick and friendly. Food was good and nicely portioned. I got the Turkey, Swiss & Soinach crepe and my husband got the Western Omelette crepe. We went for breakfast earlier and it was quiet but pleasant.

    Masca Crepe & Elderberry Kombucha
    Shyra N.

I've been following Dulce Crepes for a while on IG and needed to kill some time while I was in the area. I love all the options available and decided to try the Masca Crepe. The mascarpone did an excellent job of toning down the sweetness and the ice cream was a perfect touch. Definitely worth a return trip!

The flavors rotate seasonally with different combo twist flavors and there's now a Mini 6 oz option as well as the 9 oz classic option with unlimited toppings! There are interesting seasonal flavors that are fun to try: - Honey Dew & Guava Cheesecake Twist - The summer flavor and sweetness of the honey dew complemented the exotic guava cheesecake flavor. - Sticky Mango Rice and Matcha Twist - While I enjoyed both flavors while the savoriness of the matcha helped balance out the sweetness of the Mango, they didn't pair that well together. I would get the Matcha separately and pair with Oreos and chocolate. - Peach Honey Goat Cheese - My favorite summer! The unique flavor is complex with a bit sweetness and a touch of savory. You can taste all of the ingredients. - Sakura: The pink cherry spring flavor wasn't that sweet and a bit tangy. - Kyoto Taro Cheesecake: A great combo of Taro and Matcha Cheesecake twist that's not too sweet and flavorful Ube Cheesecake flavor - A bit bland with a subtle cheesecake flavor. - Watermelon Basil - Fun flavor to try and tastes like a sour watermelon jollyrancher. It pairs well with the Peach Honey Goat Cheese flavor. - Black Sesame - Grey, savory flavor with a hint of bitterness. - Cookies and Cream flavor is a bit bland. - Classic Ube & Pandan Twist: I always resort back to my favorite default sweet and coconutty flavor. The Taikayi waffle cones are delicious. As the stuffed Taikyai is quite decadent, getting it hollow without any filling is the best way to go with the ice cream. Any type of filling with the ice cream becomes overload of sweetness. The Wicked Pandan Float (from the glass cooler) was delicious with layers of green coconut Pandan cheesecake custard pudding on a bed of Oreo Crumbs drizzled with salted caramel dulche leche. All of the flavors pair well together. I wasn't a fan of the Ube Dulce Leche or the Ube Oreo Floater. The Ube custard was a bit bland and didn't like the jelly topping. Skip the floats in the cooler and head straight to order the ice cream! Sign-up with the app and you can score deals and discounts via text and get notified of new flavors and when some flavors retire. My kids and I enjoyed love coming here and sharing a fun sundae! We came here a dozen times during the summer. There's both indoor and outdoor seating.

The only downside is that there can be a bit of a wait before your order is ready, especially when it's busy. I'd definitely come back to try some of their other desserts. One tip: if you've never had pandan before, this probably isn't the place for your first introduction. The pandan flavor is quite bold and can be an acquired taste.

We really loved all of the dishes, but for sure the ravioli with wild asparagus and ramps is one I will remember for a long time. The octopus was also a memorable dish, and the poussin was complex, layer after layer of flavor and the salt level was so good...just perfect food, perfectly executed. Oh, and shout out to the owner's dad, who is in his 90s and makes the bread, a rich sourdough, served warm, that has a 50 year old starter at its essence. Yum. I mean the Foie Gras (sp??) - I don't even really like the stuff, put the way they sauteed it, put it on top of some sort of savory cake and slathered it with this balsamic gastrique - it was like bacon and pancakes smothered in maple syrup just amplified to 100. Bottom line: I would eat this every day (and amplify my weight by 100 too). The snow crab, I don't know if it's the care in selecting the product or the techniques used to prepare it (probably both ), but they packed so much crab flavor into that dish! The pistachio flavor was evident on top, but it was just a kinda tart vanilla ice cream with toppings. I did like it, however, and it paired well with the lokmas. The lokmas were fried to perfection, a nice amount of chewy, and covered with a good ratio of pistachio cream. They were a decent size and conducive to sharing. The prices of everything, overall, was pretty expensive, but the quality definitely made up for it. I'd recommend this cafe to someone looking for a unique sweet treat, catching up with a group of girl friends of 2-4 people, or for a first date!

Stopped in for breakfast on our way to a hike and loved this place. Super cute atmosphere with lots…read moreof seating, and everyone working there was really nice. I ordered an almond milk latte and the avocado toast without feta. The avocado toast was SO good, the avocado tasted really fresh and they used the perfect amount of balsamic vinegar. Also loved that they had packets of hot sauce available. My son got a bagel with cream cheese and my partner got a bagel with butter and jam plus a chai latte. Only note is that the bagel came with a ton of cream cheese, so if you don't like it piled on, I'd recommend asking for light cream cheese. Overall we really loved it and would definitely come back when we're in the area again!

This place is a lovely spot! My friend and I first stumbled upon it while trying to find a cafe to…read moresit and catch up, and I loved it so much I dragged my husband back at a later date. The decor makes you think of what you'd find at an eccentric great aunt's home, but in a positive way. Each area has its own mini aesthetic that contributes to the entire place; in the back are color themed books that give it a more serious look, while upstairs is more whimsical in it's random assortment of chairs and couches. The food is in appealing display cases downstairs. The stand out pastries for me are the tiramisu filled cronuts. Drinks wise, they have the typical cafe fare but excitingly so they also have Colombe on draft which I will always be excited about. I recommend this place to grab a snack and socialize!
