I stopped in here on a rainy morning, the breakfast sandwich and the chai tea were fantastic. I wouldn't recommend the grits they were a bit undercooked and the ingredients/flavors just didn't seem to blend together. Customer service was great.

Came around 9am on a Thursday morning and ordered the cookie butter latte and the steak burrito. The latte was not too sweet and gave me an energy boost, pretty good. The steak burrito was not as big as I thought it would be, but the flavors were great. The meat was tender and juicy, and it had little crisps of potato. Slightly spicy too! After eating, I did some work on my laptop for a few hours and the WiFi was great. Plenty of seating inside too. Just note that for table with an outlet nearby, there's only two of them. Glad I spent my day here.

Legato Café is a hidden gem in Fairfax with a surprisingly spacious interior minimalistic, and clean. While the space itself doesn't have much in terms of décor, the menu makes up for it with a wide variety of food and drinks. I ordered the bul-gogi bowl, and it was delicious. I also tried the cookie butter espresso iced latte, smooth, sweet (but not too sweet), and honestly better than most local coffee shops around here. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality makes it worth it. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

This place is super clean and a fair amount of seating. The workers were kind and didn't complain about me taking my time with ordering. The food was good. I really enjoyed the sandwhich it tasted fresh and it was brought out warm. The coffee was also good, I feel like I need to go back and try again. Their hours aren't the best, I've been planning to go back but cannot due to the business not being open on weekends

the ambiance in this place is out of this world. Its so cute but also a large space. They have outlets that you can use and a great place to do work at. I love supporting a small business. True definition of a hidden gem! I got my latte delivered straight to my table. The service was 10/10z The latte was soooo good too.

Food was fantastic. The Legato Chicken wrap was fresh and flavorful. Service was quick and courteous. Enjoyed the quieter, laid back atmosphere. My husband had the steak burrito wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it.

A friend and I stopped by this morning and what a great place to grab a snack or drink and get some work done. It's also a nice place to just sit in peace. It's a cozy place between two tall business buildings. We grabbed a smoothie and breakfast burrito, all very tasty! Service was great! I'm a visitor to town and plan to return in my next visit.

$11 for a 'mini' breakfast burrito?

Pricing is too steep for what you're actually getting here. However, it seemed like a nice vibrant atmosphere with interactive staff. The burrito was good, but not nearly $11 good.

Ordering is done at the counter, and the process was quick and easy. The staff taking orders were friendly and helpful, and our food was brought out very fast despite the lunch crowd. My husband and I both had the ham and cheese sandwiches. They were good, although nothing especially memorable. The desserts, on the other hand, were delicious. We also picked up a couple of muffins along with an iced tea and coffee. One thing that really stood out was the huge selection of desserts, danishes, cookies, teas, coffees, and other drinks. There was plenty of indoor seating plus a few outdoor tables, so it never felt cramped. The only disappointment was that there were no free refills on the iced tea, which is what kept this from being a five-star visit for me. On the plus side, we signed up for the loyalty program and were pleasantly surprised to earn a free pastry from just this visit. Since we don't live in the area and probably won't be back anytime soon, that was a nice unexpected bonus. Overall, it's a solid spot with friendly service, great desserts, and plenty of seating.

I'm glad I was with them, since the location is tucked away up the stairs and would be easy to miss if you are passing by. However, inside was very airy and spacious with many cozy options for seating. I ordered my chai with oat milk and a cinnamon roll from the friendly cashier. She asked if I wanted to warm my roll, and I agreed with the suggestion. Once we had our order, we headed to the couch to enjoy our brunch. The chai was delicious and had a nice peppery kick. It even came with a little cookie! I also really enjoyed the cinnamon roll, which was especially packed with spiced goodness at the warm center. I loved that everyone from studying students to large families could enjoy the indoor and outdoor space. Even with a fairly steady flow of customers, we were able to relax in the sunny couch area without feeling rushed. I would definitely return here for another chai and some breakfast in the future!

I did not try the food so can't comment on it.

First, we had the best service and they accommodated our speed and style of dining. Tried multiple dishes and desserts. Spicy eggplant stir fried with veggies was delicious and medium spicy was not very spicy. Tom Yum fried rice with shrimp was very seasoned with the right amount of spicy. Pad Thai with beef had the best noodles, perfectly chewy. Slightly on the sweet side, but very addictive. Good portions Papaya salad was very fresh and tasty. Inside was crowded for lunch, but the patio was empty. Patio was lovely today, beautiful weather. Mango with sticky rice and coconut custard was one of the best desserts we had in a long time. Definitely getting this again. The Thai Coffee with crème brûlée was smooth and creamy, very satisfying. Avocado and honey smoothie was creamy and good, maybe more avocado flavor could have improved the taste. Will definitely come back with more friends.
