Crispy chicken with sweet and sour sauce

I loooove their specialty drinks like the Lychee Thai Tea and Mango Sticky Rice Smoothie. My favorite entrees would have to be the Crispy Chicken or any of the curry on the menu. I've had the Fried Tofu in the past and found it to be stale? It might be the way they fry them. Overall, really good place for a quick meal. Lychee Thai tea 5/5 -sweet but just the way I like it Mango Sticky Rice Smoothie 5/5 -I always order with extra sticky rice Thai chicken wings 4/5 -comes with dipping sauce but if they were salt&pepper rub, that would make it a 5 Crispy chicken 5/5 -comes with a lot of chicken Tom yum soup 5/5 -best I ever had Fried tofu 3/5 -I wanna like it because the dipping sauce is good but the way they fry it makes it stale Mango sticky rice 5/5 -can never go wrong, always tastes fresh

Our new favorite Thai restaurant in the Centreville area. The food is amazing and the service is even better. You can't go wrong with the appetizers, but make sure to get the papaya salad and a fried appetizer, which you can share with two people. The noodle dishes are fresh. The crispy duck and chicken dishes are perfectly paired with the curry sauces. The dessert drinks are unique but definitely get the mango sticky rice smoothie.

Their Mango Stick Rice and Durian Sticky Rice drinks beats all the smoothies in the NOVA area. I am not even joking. You need to grab one now. Staff is also super friendly and have quick service! I'm a regular here solely for the Durian Sticky Rice Smoothie :) I don't have pictures of the smoothie as I inhale it within the two minutes of getting it, but i do have text proof. I have a bunch of texts like these about Ocha... and I always give in everytime : D

This place has great food. The desserts are amazing. I will say I went later on a Friday night for dinner around 8 pm and the food was served kindof cold, which made me not love the food like I usually do. Additionally, the panang curry and pad thai noodles were too sweet for my liking. I like more savory. The mango sticky rice and brownie bomb were both delicious and perfect!

Suchh a cute place I've been coming here since my college days! I love the decor and they always have the cutest aesthetic drinks Recently discovered they have a really good lunch deal so if you're in the area, definitely stop by! P.S. The lychee Thai tea is so good if you're looking for a Thai tea that doesn't have diary

I love Thai food and mango sticky rice is one of my favorite desserts. When I saw that this restaurant has a mango sticky rice smoothie I could not stop thinking about it so I made the drive. When I tell you this smoothie was everything and more! Very delicious and I highly recommend it if you enjoy mango sticky rice. I added extra coconut cream and only wished that I also added extra sticky rice, but I'll keep that in mind for next time. I also ordered Udon Tom Yum Stir Fried and spring rolls which were also really good. Service was very quick and the staff were very friendly. I'd recommend them for both dining in or pick up.

The food & drinks were delicious to start! We got seated super fast and had the main courses within 20 minutes! Love how quick the service was, and the quality of food is just perfect.

The restaurant is decorated prettily and it was easy to get a seat for Saturday lunch! large menu and fast service. TLDR: everything was pretty decent but missing some of that stronger, spicier, sour thai flavor Drunken noodles - Noodles have great texture. very soft and bouncy. Tasty but a bit too sweet and not spicy at all despite being listed as medium. 3/5 Tom yum noodle soup - Just ok for me. It wasn't bad but the tom yum felt pretty bland. nothing special for the rest of the toppings too 2/5 Papaya salad - I don't usually order this so this was more for parents. It's sour and refreshing. Not sure what its supposed to taste like to compare but not my type of salad. 1.5/5 Mango sticky rice smoothie - Love the idea in concept! Easy to go mango sticky rice but definitely does not replace the real thing. regardless, the mango smoothie was pretty decent and refreshing but a bit artificial/too sweet tasting. the virst few bites of the sticky rice were good but because the smoothie is cold some of the rice grains did harden a bit towards the end. great coconut seasoning around the rice though. 2.75/5

I am beyond words with this place! I can't count in my fingers how many times I've been here, and probably rotated in half of their menu! I just love everything in Ocha Thai, and it hits my Thai food cravings every time. Ofcourse, their Mango Sticky rice desserts are a must, but don't sleep on the chiffon cake combos they have.I recently tried their Thai Tea with salt cream and it was the best Thai Tea I've had! I will always always come back to this place, if not once a week. Lol the decor and ambiance is really welcoming and all of the servers are very nice.

This is the best, most authentic Thai food in the area. It is small inside but feels cozy. Staff is friendly as well. We love all of their Thai food and even tried their popular Thai mango sticky rice DRINK. Yes, the popular mango sticky rice dessert that most Thai restaurants have in DRINK form. Instead of boba tea, you are sucking up parts of sticky rice and mango. So good. Hits the spot after eating some flavorful Thai food. Keep it up with the great quality of food! We need you in the area lol

support your local businesses! always love coming here whether its for takeout or just to sit and enjoy. staff is always so incredibly kind and will greet you with a huge smile every time! forgot what curry i got but it was delicious, a little on the sweeter side just as a heads up! wish it was a bit more savory. but the spicy basil fried rice is always a favorite, alongside the drunken noodles. drinks are always a must :)

Everyone loved their food here and the tea was tasty even for a non tea drinker. The stir fry was ok. If I came back, I'd avoid that and go with some of the other dishes like pad Thai or drunken noodles.

We walked in and Ohhhhhhhhh, what a warm and cozy atmosphere on a chilly day! Looking at the pictures on-line, I wasn't expecting much but when we were inside, I took a look around and was pleased to see that they had a very fun atmosphere and creative wall decor! We had a comfortable space for eating. The chairs were very nice with a thick cushion. When reading the reviews, I noticed people were stating that the food portion size was small. I DISAGREE! Ocha Thai's price point is very low! Many items are $13.95. You can hardly buy a sandwich to go for that price let alone a hot Thai meal. If the price was $18.95 or more, I would have expected a larger portion. Having the price at $13.95 makes it possible for Negative Nancy to have an appetizer too! Our food was very delicious!! My friend had the Ginger Stir Fry with Jasmine rice and I had the Green Curry Fried Rice medium spiced. My only complaint was that my rice was a little overcooked. I couldn't wait to try the Mango Sticky Rice Smoothy! It was absolutely divine! I was going to wait to have it for desert but decided to sip on it while eating my spicy fried rice. It took the heat away! My friend had the Avocado Honey. I would never of tried it if it wasn't for her. I tasted it. It was Deeeelicious! Nice, light, and refreshing. It did not taste like I had imagined. I would love to try everything on the menu and will visit if I am ever back in Chantilly!!

The restaurant is a longer, more compressed layout that has a lot of seating for a smaller space, but it can really fill up. The service is consistent across servers that I've experienced - they are neutrally friendly; the service is a little over the bare minimum, but not disappointing. They won't make you feel like you're special but instead like you're just another customer that they are going to feed and send on your way. No complaints. The food is consistently good, hence we keep coming back when we visit the area. We normally get the summer rolls, thai red curry, and pad thai. I had the lunch special here on a Friday and it was pretty darn good. Tastes were authentic but the "spicy" dishes could have used more spice. The lunch special offers 2 sides from among 3 choices: fried spring roll, papaya salad, or tom yum chicken soup. Since I had dining companions, I tried all three. The fried spring roll was average. It was not a fried stick of tasteless goo like at some other places. It had decent structure inside and good flavor, but it was rather plain. The sweet chili sauce on it was average and also had somewhat of an artificial pinkish hue to it. The tom yum chicken soup was similarly average but tasty enough to be satisfying. In my opinion, the papaya salad was the best of these three. It was crisp and fresh tasting, and had a good hint of chili spice to it. For entrees, we had the garlic tofu, drunken noodles, and chicken pad krapow. The garlic tofu came in a ring of undercooked broccoli. It could have been steamed longer or integrated with the cooking of the tofu and sauce. The flavor profile was lighter and less intense than at other Thai restaurants. Both the drunken noodles and the pad krapow delivered with familiar flavors, but underperformed on spice level. They were both denoted on the menu with 2 chili symbols but really came out weak (1 or less on the Universal Thai Spice Scale - UTSS). I'd come back here for the lunch special, or just to try anything else off the full menu, but I'd want to ask the kitchen to up their seasoning to match UTSS standards.

The space is very small, maybe 10 tables. There's some parking that might be available in a small lot across the street and a half block away. I ordered Tom Ka Gai soup with Chicken, and Drunken Noodles with beef. Seems simple enough. And yet, there were three issues with these two dishes. I was really hopeful when they brought out my bowl of soup, mostly because it was a BOWL of soup and not the more typical cup-sized serving. The bad news was that the soup was tasteless. It consisted of a watery broth, some chunks of chicken, and a few mushrooms. (Issue #1). The six of us were two or three spoonfuls into our soups when the waiter brought our entrees. I don't know about you, but I like to finish one course before the next one is brought to my table, and I'm faced with having to decide which dish I want to let get cold. (Issue #2) In this case, the choice seemed obvious. I pushed the bowl of soup away and dug into my Drunken Noodles. Like many people, I typically order Drunken Noodles at Thai restaurants. I've had it dozens of times without any problems. I say "Drunken Noodles," they bring it (usually after I've finished my soup or appetizer), and I enjoy it. That's not what happened this time. This time, it was almost too spicy to eat. It was MUCH spicier than any other Drunken Noodles-es I've had. And I wasn't alone; another one of us could only handle a few bites of her food before giving up. (Issue #3) I may give this place another try, and if I do, my visit will include the advice that I just shared with you at the top of this review.
