My family and I love a good pastery and coffee combo and Tous Les Jours does just that. The pasteries are delicious, they restock throughout the day but remember if you take it home to reheat it to enjoy them to its fullest! Came to the new centreville location located near Lulu's karaoke bar. It is a smaller location compared to their other locations. The seating is behind the cashier counter. I found it to be off putting that they put signs reserving their larger tables for groups of 8+ or 5+ parties. I understand they want to accommodate for larger groups but when there are none, and all the spots for small groups are filled, it really turns away customers who want to be sitting and enjoying their treats inside the cafe. I saw multiple parties of 3-4 guests wanting a spot to sit but walking away from the larger tables. In other cafes, usually customers share larger tables with others, but in this case, the customers leave because of their signs. The food was ok, they didn't have a large selection when I was there but everything looked good. read more

First time going there and it was an hour before closing. There was a lot of pastries still available which was really nice and wasn't the case the one time I went to the Annandale location. Amazing service from an employee and recommended me some really great choices. I believe her name is Diāne? Not very sure. Will definitely be going there again! read more

Stopped in for breakfast today, and was amazed by the selection. I've been to several Paris Baguettes before, but I found Tous Le Jours to be FAR better in comparison. Their selection included a variety of unusual and classic pastries and breakfast fare. I ended up with the Eloté Pastry and the Portuguese Egg Tart. Both were delicious, especially the eloté pastry, which was a fun savory treat. The coffee was exceptionally good. I had the butter pecan latte which tasted like butter pecan ice cream in coffee form and even had chopped pecans as a topping. The staff here were so friendly and sweet. The seating is both diverse and expansive. There were padded loungers up front and tables and chairs in back. A great place to work! I will definitely be a regular! read more

As usual they have high quality breads and a variety of buns and cakes. I have many favorites and still want to try new ones every time I visit. The coffee always smells really good in here. Nice and bright with lots of seating and this time I stayed to do some work and I realized it's really loud so I recommend bringing some headphones. I love all Tous Le Jours esp for their cakes. We got some yummy bakery goods and then a red velvet cake for my friend's birthday. The cake was super soft and light. I've written before about how I impressed I am with the donuts at Tous Les Jours - see my review from when I had the red bean paste donut at the Ellicott City location. Now at the Centreville location, I decided to try the mango donut. Still wonderful, at least the donut part. The mango filling was too creamy for my taste - I would have preferred a more tart flavor. That would have really been a 5-star donut. My partner said the same about the chocolate one. Still, it is a pleasant, bustling place for an afternoon snack, and with so many more tempting things to try, I will be back for sure. PS for those tart, tropical flavors, you could try Rose Avenue Bakery in the District. read more

I prefer the Chantilly location better but I was in the area and wanted some treats and a refreshment. I tried the lemonade and matcha this time and omg.... It was delicious! I loved that it was sparkling. I'm a sucker for sparkling drinks so this just hits the spot for me. Ambiance was nice and chill with lots of tables and seating nooks. First timer here. We just happened to see this bakery on Google and decided to check it out because everything in the pics looked delicious! OMG... I'm so glad we stopped by. What a selection of goodies, holy crap. And the presentation was just . We bought spinach and feta pastries, a curry roll thingy, a blueberry/cheese pastry and chocolate pastries. They were boxed up beautifully. Service was friendly and efficient. It was clean and bright inside and I wish I lived closer. But we'll definitely be back. Went to the Woodridge, VA Location. I do not prefer a lot of what they serve here, but some of the pure pastries are fine. I do not like the fillings in some of what they serve. The breakfast sandwiches have a sauce that is too peppery tasting. This is not purely a French pastry place so people need to not get caught up with the French name of the shop and realize they are mixing in Korean fusion. The coffee is awesome and like I said some of the pure pastries are tasty. i like the place but I have to be selective. The prices are pretty high, but oh well. read more

Pros: - lots of seating areas - lots of pastries - opened late - they finally added the tiramisu latte, I'm very happy about that. It tastes good too! Cons: - no WiFi (at least that's what a cashier told me) This disappointed me as I was coming to do work and unfortunately I don't have hotspot. However I did meet a friend here, but I had to leave to get work done. Middle: - coffee is automated , doesn't have the baristas touch. I recently revisited the centreville location, because they revamped it after temporarily under a different brand and being closed. So glad to see the consistency of Tous le jours in this area. The pastries were delicious. I was overcharged 75 cents for my coffee, but it might have been a mistake, or is the menu prices inaccurate? Very misleading. Drinks are ok. As always TLJ has been a good brand with consistent offerings of Korean breads sweet and savory along with coffee and seasonal drinks. Today I tried the iced matcha latte and it's yummy! I think they put a little too much ice but overall taste is good and creamy. There are crowd every night and even more on weekends. Decoration is modern streamlined with gold accents. It can be very noisy though, it's not good if you want a quiet place to talk or work. read more

I loved the experiences at Chantilly location with their interior design and the desserts.  So I happened to visit the newly opened Tous Les Jours in Centerville expecting familiar expectations. In conclusion, I was completely disappointed. I circled around three times to pick pastries and etc., but the breads looked  burnt and old. I only picked out a few items and came out. They tasted so sour and I could smell the foul odor.  I was so disappointed and wanted to speak to manager. So I called, the staff who answered my call hung up on me as soon as I told them the purpose of the call!! smh. I was angry and called back, and they didn't even answer my phone. I am done going to Tous Les Jours in Centerville location, God knows what could happen, I don't want to be hospitalized or anything. I will stick to chantilly location with peace of mind. Hopes somebody reads this and have second thoughts about going to Centreville location. read more

I love this bakery, I will stand by it. Cakes, pastries, and drinks. Except recently I have been disappointed with their sweet treats. They are trying to master the Asian tastes of "not too sweet" except it borders on lacking flavor because the lack of sugar. I bought a bread stick their strawberry soft bread expecting the top to coated with a layer of powdered sugar, bite after bite, I get a mouthful of cornstarch or flour. It's unnecessary to have to is dusting if it doesn't add to the flavor. Same with their chocolate mousse cake I bought yesterday, they add a thick layer of cocoa powder which is nice but underneath is a white powder again with no sweetness. I do enjoy a not too sweet dessert yet there is a fine line between not good and not too sweet. The sugar isn't only there to be sweet but to enhance the flavor and bring it out. In a previous encounter I had a mango donut and the inside didn't even taste like a true mango. That being said, this place still has really good tasting pastries and the is wonderful place for a coffee and chat. read more
