I really like this place. They offer a wide variety of breads and drinks, and there are plenty of tables to sit at. The Wi-Fi is reliable, and the air conditioning keeps the café nice and cool. The staff were also very friendly. Since there's an H Mart in the same shopping center, the parking lot is spacious and convenient. I love this TLJ spot! And they have Shakerato, which surprisingly not every TLJ carries. It's basically a creamy espresso drink with vanilla syrup and oat mylk, my absolute favorite! The ambiance here is really nice too. It wasn't too crowded on a Friday afternoon, so there were plenty of seats available. This location isn't huge, but it's cozy and comfortable enough to hang out or get some work done. Always find myself stopping by whenever I'm in Centreville. read more

TL;DR: the return of this location has been great! Pastries and coffee were both good This place was TLJ a very long time ago, changed to something else, and now it's back to being TLJ. The renovations/re-decorating they did is fantastic. Very clean and pretty space. Coffee comes out quickly. Only con is that they do not offer any Wi-Fi, but likely to keep people from camping out. They have a huge selection of pastries, breads, cakes, and macarons. Some of them are hit or miss, but I think eventually you will find the items that fit your personal preference. This is my favorite place ever. I go here very often and every time I go, I try a new pastry and have loved every one that I've tried. My favorite drink is their honey lavender matcha latte and their pumpkin spice latte is also good. The service is always friendly and quick. Glad there's a TLJ right next to the spa. After spending a whole day in the sauna, you get really hungry and need some bread and coffee.

I tend to stop by later in the day when many breads are already sold out so maybe if i was able to catch some of the early day items my review would change. Salt & Butter Bread - I toasted it slightly in the air fryer when I got home to warm it up. Unfortunately, this didn't taste like the salt bread I had in Korea -- maybe the "salt and butter" twist made it heavier? I didn't enjoy it. It lacked fluffiness, the butter pooled at the bottom, and overall the bread felt thick and overly rich. 1/5 Shaken Tea Latte - Tastes similar to their Assam black milk tea but slightly lighter and milkier. The croissants never miss and last time I was there I tried a stuffed donut that was filled with the most delicious custard. This was my first time visiting this location. I've been to the Ellicott City location quite a few times and didn't know there was a location here in Virginia. I got there towards the end of the day, so many of the pastries were out. Luckily I was able to spot out my usual go-to, the mixed veggie croquette. It's a breaded pastry with a mixed vegetable filling inside. It tasted great, but it taste even better when it's heated. Visiting a friend that lives close to this bakery, I walked over with breakfast in mind and left with breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The Milk Bread was soft and went great with morning tea. The Sweet Rice Donut was also great with our morning tea. The Spinach Feta Danish was great heated up in the oven. It was a meal all by itself! Such an adorable shop!!!! First off there is plenty of seating in the inside!! This immediately makes you feel like you can stay a while! All pastries are baked fresh daily which I can attest to since they we still packaging goodies as I waked in. This is one of my favorite bakeries in Centreville to get bread from. The milk bread always tastes fresh and they always have plenty of options to choose from. They also have pretty good fruit bingsoo with generous amounts of various fruits including kiwi, cantaloupe, melons, and strawberries topped off with vanilla soft serve. The only negative about their bingsoo is that sometimes they put too much syrup, so the bottom of the bingsoo is sickly sweet. The breads I got are pretty standard and can be bought at any Korean bakery. Too much cream inside the bread! The macaroons are alright. I've definitely had better. They also serve bubble tea. I got the taro bubble tea smoothie. It was good, but a little too sweet. They didn't blend it all the way because I can still see taro powder in it. My friend ordered the green tea bubble tea smoothie. It was stronger in green tea taste than other places, but I'd recommend this. Even though their items are not super great, I'll probably find myself going back just for the cuteness factor and freshness of the baked goods, that is if I happen to be nearby. First of, the other guy was telling the truth about HOW RUDE THE SERVERS ARE. So, my friend and I ordered apricot tea and they are extremely sweet and undrinkable. I went to the cashier and even poured her some and she can barely drink it! But get this... she told me "some people too sweet, some not too sweet. That's how it's made and we can't make it special for you". So I asked for hot water and the other lady on the counter gave me one hot water instead of 2 for the 2 drinks we bought.
