This new location is beautiful and spacious; I also appreciate the 3-hour free parking validation they provide. However, I was disappointed to see zero vegetarian sandwich options. I came here to eat something but only had their Cloud Bagel to choose from. I went for that as it was my only choice but wasn't a fan. Granted it's called "cloud" bagel, I expected it to be soft, but even when they toasted it wasn't appetizing - more like seasoned Wonder bread. The service was fine, but I do wish they had really toasted the "bagel"; it ended up being lukewarm/cold after a few minutes and still soft. I understand this is more of a cafe, geared towards coffee and pastry lovers - and maybe for that - it's good, but for those seeking a sandwich/meal/something more substantive (especially for vegetarians), this is not the place. I came here hungry and left hungry. Don't come here if you want food-food. Suggestion: add some egg/cheese sandwiches or an egg-salad sandwich like Paris Baguette. I have been to a few different locations and this by is my favorite. The location is beautiful inside and out and very clean. There is a huge selection of pastry's and desserts. They also have a pretty decent coffee menu. The cashier was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. I also thought it was cute that they have a cup of after coffee mints available. Love this new location in Reston Station! I recently went to the Bang Salon next door and popped into Tous Les Jours afterwards for a coffee. The store is super spacious and has a classic, cute aesthetic. There were so many well-priced bakery options that looked delicious. I got the Tiramisu Latte - not too sweet (just how I prefer my coffee) and really packed with a cocoa top. My only critique was that the coffee was not particularly strong. Considering the latte was about $6.30 for a medium, I think they should be a bit more generous with the espresso to milk ratio. The service was speedy and the staff was very nice! I only ordered the tiramisu latte half sweet and it was nothing to write home about. Although I ordered it half sweet, it was still pretty sweet. The coffee flavor was mild and I think the employees just press a button to make the coffee, nothing special about it at all. Although the employees were sweet, one girl touched her hair while wearing gloves, and didn't change gloves. The inside is gorgeous with lots of natural light but the placement of the shop seems to only be helpful for those staying at the Marriott or those working across the street. read more

This new location recently opened in Reston. The interior is light, airy and clean. I got the tiramisu latte which was good but a bit too sweet for me. I love the huge windows that surround the bakery. I can't wait to try some pastries here. They have both sweet and savory pastries. The cakes are also very impressive. The service is fast as well. If you're looking for a sweet treat, this is the place to go. They have so many options and you can see them making them as you're selecting which baked goods to get. I like how we're more in control of getting what we want, else there would be a long line of people debating what to get. The staff members were nice and focused on getting all the food and orders out. The space is very clean and pretty big for a bakery. Plenty of seating inside and a nice lawn to lounge on outside. It was ok. I think I'm just particular... the interior is STUNNING AND IMPECCABLE!! Welcoming space to work. The displays are gorgeous and enticing. I opted for 2 macrons and an almond milk matcha latte. The macrons were hazelnut and coffee. For me they had a pretty strong refrigerator taste and lacked any real deep flavor profile. I only had ate half of the coffee one. The hazelnut was a bit better but that fridge taste just really bothered me. The quality of their matcha is nice but either the powder or the almond milk are already sweetened and that's unpleasant for me... just too sugary (again I'm sensitive to sweet drinks and prefer all my drinks unsweetened). I tossed it halfway through. I also asked for it extra hot and it was ... super warm. For $13 I won't be back for any of it but I genuinely wish them will and know people adore them :) staff were kind and patient. read more

Was so excited that this Tous Les Jours location opened up near me! But navigating to this shop was a hassle, especially with the ongoing construction. Be aware that if you park at the confusing "Wiehle-Reston Parking Garage" and walk across the street, they won't validate your parking. They only validate for the "East Garage Parking", off Sunset Hills and Reston Row Plz. There is some street parking on the side of TLJ, but I did see a parking security attendant person shoo someone away. The interior design of the bakery was nice, featuring a circular counter of pastries upon entry and a separate coffee counter to the right. A lot of seating; even saw a few people working with their laptops. I ordered a small, hot matcha tiramisu latte with soy, but it tasted more like steamed milk than matcha...and for some reason, it was oily? I wish I could comment on the pastries, but my "free cookies with app sign-up" coupon didn't work. If you try to sign up, perhaps ask someone for assistance. The employees were nice and tried their best, considering the shop is still new. In the meantime, I'll just visit other TLJ locations that already have things figured out. read more

Yesterday I got their garlic cream cheese bread thing, because I've loved it at the centreville location. I thought it tasted a little stale but heated it up at home and it was edible. I have been in pain all morning/afternoon. Every time I turn over I have to run to the bathroom. I'll save you the details but it's not pretty. Tous Les Jours's newest location in the Reston Station complex is super convenient to my home, so we have visited it for multiple last minute pastry/cake runs. We generally are big fans of this chain of Korean bakeries and adore the Chantilly outpost. The quality of the baked goods at this specific location feels below par, and the selection itself appears more limited. For example, I visited on a Sunday at 1:00 pm and nearly 50% of the pastries were gone, in comparison to the Chantilly store and nearby Paris Baguette in Herndon which have always been well stocked even at odd hours. The coffee, too, lacks freshness and tastes old/bitter. We have also had subpar service here, with a cashier refusing to provide me with a branded box for my pastries and chiding another employee who tried to help me out with an alternative. Parking can also be challenging with most of the adjacent street parking reserved and unclear signage in the nearby garages. Given multiple bad experiences and only so-so sweets, I will likely budget an extra few minutes to drive elsewhere next time the need for baked goods emerges. read more

Mont Blanc is delectable - lovely toasted with or without any additions (butter, cream cheese, jam)! Also, the drinks are refreshing and not too sweet - I had the iced ube latte and mango cloud tea. Parking is very convenient - wr always found free street parking right next to store and there's an underground parking right next door that is free with validation.
