Great cookies! I got the birthday cake and blueberry and they were both delicious. I ate the birthday cake for breakfast the next morning and it was still really good. Because of the calorie content, MidnighTreats bewares the consumer to not eat the whole cookie (it's hard not to eat the whole thing tho). This location was quick service, so you buy your cookies and go - there isn't anywhere to sit and eat your cookies. The inside is very cute though and has a lot of decorations. I would go again!
Don't walk, run to Midnightreats! Holy moley, these cookies are freaking incredible! My daughter and I don't eat eggs, so we often go for vegan desserts. And, as such, we've had lots. These cookies are out of this world. It's challenging to find words strong enough to accurately describe the awesomeness. We got one of each cookie flavor available (and doubles of the extra yummy sounding ones). They were warm, gooey, and huge. My husband didn't believe they were vegan, and he, too, likes vegan desserts. I cannot recommend these cookies enough. Takeout/delivery only, no indoor seating, but friendly staff if you order at the cafe.
Massive cookies are a necessity these days. This sweet little big cookie spot is hidden under a business building and wasn't easy to find with dilated eyes. It is across from the gym, and next to the Orthodontic office. I was rhe only customer at the time, so I was able to ask 21 questions then apologize profusely for the questions and because I couldn't read anything. They have fresh baked cookies for regular price, and also leftover cookies at a discounted price. The box has reheating instructions, although I just throw em in the air fryer at a low temperature for about 5 min before inhaling. I chose the chocolate chip, confetti, snickerdoodle and double chocolate chip cookies. As you can see feom the pics, I needed to sample each one. The snickerdoodle and confetti were my favorite. One major note: THESE ARE VEGAN COOKIES!!! So the texture is slightly different than a normal cookie. The choclate chip one tasted a little too floury for me. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area.
These are some really good cookies. Are they the best cookies I've ever had in my life? No, but definetly in my top 5, and they are quite possibly the best VEGAN cookies I've ever had in my life. Yes, that's right, this place is 100% vegan! They have a storefront (pickup and take out only, no dining-in and no public restroom.) You can also order them online and have them shipped to your house if you aren't local. They change up their flavors monthly. Follow them on social media to see what their current offerings are. They do a really good job of choosing flavors that work well with the season. And some of their flavors are just so FUN. The cookies are thick, with a nice crunch to the outside. The interior is soft, dense, and moist, with a lovely texture to it, almost like a cross between a muffin, a cookie, and a scone. Not cloyingly sweet, but definitely sweet enough to satisfy any hard-core sugar cravings. The regular cookies are large enough to share between 2-4 people, depending on how big a sweet tooth you have. They also have mini versions, which are more of an individual-sized cookie. I believe the minis are baked to order. My faveourite part about this place is the fact that they have partnered with an organization that ensures a tree gets planted for each box of cookies purchased. They are also involved with the community, and support other small businesses. They have actually teamed up with Weird Brothers Coffee (an amazing local coffeeshop/roastery) so you can find Weird Bros coffee at MidnightTreats, and you can find MidnightTreats cookies at Weird Brothers. What a perfect match! What my stars mean: 5 is outstanding, a must-experience, someplace I would recommend to a tourist. 4 is great, someplace I would love to return again and again. Back-up reccomendation for tourists. 3 is good. A solid option if I am in the area. I may reccomend to locals, but would probably leave it off my list of reccomendations for tourists. 2 is ok, but only because it a great value, unique, and/or convenient. 1 means I would not return.
We randomly lucked up and found this place after looking online for a sweet treat following a dinner reservation. If you like a thicker, cake like cookie, you have to give this a try! The cookies were delicious and flavorful. You will absolutely get the sugar rush you are looking for. The location is kind of hidden, but gps will get you there. I believe they change their flavors monthly. The employee who helped us was super friendly and we chatted a bit about the menu. I will def return if I am in the area!
Not so sure how Plaza America allows 2 cookie stores in the same shopping center...and I'd be pretty upset if I was Crumbl because Midnightreats kicks their butts. The only drawback is Midnightreats is way in the rear with no foot traffic so you have to head back past the Thai Sushi joint and the Melting Pot to find it...but make that trip because their cookies are big and tasty. My favorite was the staple- chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. They have other flavors too like chocolate chocolate chip, birthday cake, mint chocolate, etc. 4 cookies for $13 bucks. Not cheap but not the worst I've seen either these days..
When I heard about Midnightreats, I wanted to give it a try. Admittedly, I didn't have high expectations when I went. Plus, it's not easy to find it. Ostensibly, it's in Plaza America but...not in the main part. It's up the road from The Melting Pot...up at the end of the road. All my years shopping at this plaza, never once did I venture up the road. As of this writing, they still have a banner announcing their name. I assume they will get more permanent signage soon. I went inside and bought one cookie to see what they are like. Everybody who works there is friendly and helpful. After looking over the selection, I chose a "lemon haze" one. They offer to cut your cookie in half for you as each cookie is meant to feed two. I agreed to that. All their cookies are vegan which I think is a good idea as this makes their cookies available to a wider audience. Their containers have instructions on how to reheat your cookie. The cookies can either be stored at room temperature or put in the fridge. We warmed up the cookie later in the evening and were in for a pleasant surprise. One bite and we were wowed! The lemon glaze had fantastic flavor---not too tart and not too sweet, just right. It leaves a lingering taste in your mouth. As for the texture of the cookies, they are dense but not dried out or too heavy. My husband was so wowed, that he said we were going back the next day for another lemon haze cookie and we would also try the "cinna-roll"---and that's what we did. One reviewer described the cinna-roll as tasting like a Cinnabon and we noticed the similarities. This cookie also had great flavor to it. Well...now we have to avoid the temptation to go too frequently. This place is near where we live. In fact, I could walk there, weather permitting. Some things to take note of --- they don't take cash. In fact, there is a note on the front door that says which forms of payment they take. This is strictly a take out set up. Parking that far up the road is very limited. There is a lot at the end of the road for "oversized vehicles". When we went on the weekend, we parked there as we were in and out quickly. During the week, it may not be so simple. I hope that this location doesn't discourage others from trying it. My suggestion to them is to put a sign on Sunset Hills Road with their name on it and points up the road. If you like cookies, give them a try!
Forget Le Vain, this spot has parking and is less crowded! I honestly craved a sugary cookie and Midnightreats delivered~ The blueberry cookie was not to die for but you will drool for it! I love how they actually do put blueberries in there :) all of the cookies are extravagant. I will say the cookies are pretty rich, obviously, but if you're looking for a classic chocolate chip cookie, this place ain't it.
The cookies at Midnightreats are large and the flavors are unique and fun. The taste of the cookies were fairly average. Unfortunately, the cookies were also cold. This may have been a result of the fact that I went in the evening. I think that if the cookies were warm then it would be much better! The box did come with reheat instructions though just in case you don't finish which I feel is a great addition. The employees were super friendly and knew a lot about the cookies and even made suggestions based on my flavor preferences. The location for Midnightreats is interesting. It is located in the back of Plaza America near the office buildings instead of the main plaza area where the rest of the stores are. The interior of the cookie store is large however there is currently no in door seating. This is not uncommon for a cookie store but with so much space I think it would be beneficial if they added seating. Even though there were some things I think could be better about Midnightreats, it is definitely worth trying. It's a great customer experience and a unique cookie experience.
Vegan Friendly: No Exterior and Interior: Very minimal. The location was not too hard to find however, they really need to do something to stand out exterior wise and the interior is way too bare bones for my liking. Food Breakdown: * Cookies (3/5): I will say they had some dope choices such as a blueberry, Brownie, and Cinnamon Bun. However, like other cookie places such as Crumble Cookie, it's just wayyyyy too sweet. Honestly, I don't know how people can eat a whole cookie by themselves and not feel sick. I am for sure done with these cookie places, but it doesn't mean this was bad, just not my thing. Portion Size: Good Price: Reasonable for this kind of cookie Service: 10/10 the person working was so nice and really made sure that we were taken care of! Would I go Back: No, sadly these cookie places are just way too sweet. But I want to say that for those who love cookies and these kinds of places it's worth a go!
Ginormous ooey gooey cookies! The weighty cookies are the size of my fist and weigh 6 oz, no kidding! Great for sharing! They are buttery and decadent, similar to NYC's Levain cookies. The Brownie double chocolate cookie is hands-down my favorite and tastes like a fudgy brownie. The dark chocolate chips just melt! The Classic Chocolate Chip cookie was a bit too sweet and tastes like a sugar cookie with chocolate chips. I wasn't a fan of the Cookies and Cream Oreo cookie. The Cina-Cookie tastes like a buttery Snickerdoodle cookie with cream cheese filling. The Birthday Bash cookie was fun to try, but quite sweet and loaded with sugar. Highly recommend warming up the cookies in the microwave for 20-30 sec, they soften up and taste like they were just baked with that delicious ooey gooey texture. The chocolate chips just melt in your mouth! If you get delivery, the cookies are stone cold. Delivery takes 2-3 days after placing an order, even local shipping takes a full day. While it was fun to try the 4 pack of cookies with delivery, it was just too much and I was on a serious sugar overload. It would be nice to have an option to only get a set of 2 cookies with delivery. The cookies just don't taste as good cold even with reheating and it's better just to get the cookies at the shop. Will stop by for the Chocoholic double chocolate when I'm in the area. Happy to support this small NOVA business! read more

Found this place after looking for something sweet after our dinner. It was a little hard to find since we aren't from the area, but once we found it, it was easy to park and walk in. This place has some really cute wall art/decor but don't plan to sit down here. I didn't see any seating, unless they picked it up since it was later in the day. The gentleman that helped us was knowledgeable but make sure you know that the leftover cookies are discounted and they're only a day old. We didn't find that out until after we paid. I was surprised to find that these are vegan! You couldn't tell and I really enjoyed that these weren't sickly sweet. I was able to eat two halves of two cookies and I didn't feel like my tummy was weighed down with sweetness. read more

Walk in and the smell of straight sugar high hits your nose and you know you're in the right place. Customer service is amazing. The cookies are hefty and thicc. It's a walk out establishment so there's no place inside to eat it but the park down the road has plenty of sitting space. read more

Cookies here are so good! I wasn't sure what to expect since I'm not usually a fan of giant puffy like cookies but damn these are delicious. I'd suggest going with The Classic chocolate chip cookie and you won't be disappointed. Also , extra points bc the staff was very sweet and helpful. read more

I tried MidnighTreats in Reston for the first time, and the cookies were delicious! Definitely not as sweet as a regular cookie, but that's what I was looking for...a healthier option. I went in planning to get just the chocolate chip, but you know how that goes. My 4-pack assortment from MidnighTreats in Reston...the Cinna-Roll, Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, and Brownie. The cookies were huge, and the person who helped me was very friendly. Highly recommend. read more

This place doesn't disappoint! We bought 6 different cookies and although I had my preferences - they were all delicious! The cookie size is also great for sharing! I am not vegan and these cookies didn't lack anything (for those who may be skeptical because of that). read more

AH-MAZING. I've only eaten the chocolate chip cookie so far out of the 3, but wow. Simply delicious and not overly sweet. I can't believe the cookies are DAIRY FREE too...that's right vegans, eat your little hearts out! Taste, texture, nothings sacrificed here. And let's not skip the obvious, these cookies are MASSIVE; so if you're feeling guilty about spending $5 on a cookie just know it's well worth it! I reheated the cookie at 330 for 3 mins in my air fryer and it was perfect. A little crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Good job MidnighTreats, I'll be back! read more

There's a review under the 7 that are currently not recommended that says these are fantastic cookies if you're vegan and good, but not great cookies if you're not vegan. I think this person hit the nail right on the head so I'm not sure why the review isn't recommended- it's accurate. The cookies are impressive looking but for me there's something about the consistency that's indicative of a vegan cookie that puts me off. It's almost a mealy texture without that being gross like it sounds. The cookies ARE still good but not my go- to place. read more

After dinner we wanted something sweet my husband choose cookies. The two employees were kind and helpful because it was our first time here. They sold out of the cookie I wanted, so come early but you cant go wrong with a classic chocolate chip cookie. They gave us a fresh cookie and it smelled incredible. It was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The chocolate was a higher grade than others I had before. The cookie was on the pricey side but they were not small it was a 1/3 lb. read more

Wasn't too impressed with the cookies. Thought they were just overpriced and doughy. I really liked the Cinna-roll cookie... but thats because it was very unique and actually quite tasty.. But the rest were disappointing. It made me miss the other cookie shops like crumbl and levain. Those cookies taste like they are made with great quality ingredients. While these just tasted like they playdoh. read more

These cookies are definitely huge as they warned! I was not able to finish a whole one in one sitting haha. they were delicious though! I appreciate the reheating instructions label on the box. They are sweet but not overly sweet, which I like, especially for the amount of cookie it is. It does feel like a lot of dough, which makes sense to make the cookie bigger. I personally love cookie dough part of cookies and found it to be perfect proportion of toppings vs dough, but others may disagree. It is a little pricey, but they have coupons if you do online ordering. The classic chocolate chip was great. Right amount of dough and sweetness. Oatmeal raisin is usually my favorite but this big version felt like too much oatmeal and was a bit hard. Still good though. The Chinna-roll tastes like snickerdoodle and my favorite out of the four I got. cookies and cream was good too and self explanatory. the location seems like it might be hard to find but once you get to the area, they have a huge sign on the window that can't be missed. read more

MidnighTreats is an amazing find for vegan cookies! Ordering is completed in advance, online. They sell out of popular flavors fast, so order early! The actual storefront is tucked away in a small office building adjacent to Ono brewery. Cookies here are stellar. Gigantic, dense, and sooo flavorful. They're big. Vegan and dairy-free! Don't expect to finish one on your own, or bring some oat milk to the table. There were two standouts: 1) Chocoholic - Uber rich, sweet and decadent chocolate cookie. Reminds me of a triple chocolate brownie. Very delicious. 10/10 2) Cinna-roll - My favorite. Tastes exactly like a Cinnabon roll in cookie format. A must-try 11/10. We also had the Grandma and the Birthday Bash. Both were delicious in their own right. Overall, we found these dense cookies to be quite a treat. Would highly recommend giving this small business a try! read more

My husband and I were looking for any new dessert places that we could grab a treat from and decided to give Midnightreats a try. We both have a weakness for cookies, so we were pretty hyped after placing our order. Picking up the order was so easy and there were signs that pointed us in the direction to the kitchen. I highly recommend their cookies if you're looking for something new and sweet to snack on! read more

Stopped by Saturday night after dinner for a sweet treat. We got the classic chocolate chip cookie which was not too sweet and slightly salty. It was kind of hard to break evenly but the inside was soft. They offer day old cookies at a discounted price so we decided to try the graham raisin cookie. The proportion of raisins to graham was off but it was ok. The price of the older cookies was only discounted about 20%. Great service! read more

The location for here is kind of in the cut so be on the lookout for a poster in the window! The cookies were expensive but oh my gosh they were sooooooooooo good!!!!! I am definitely coming back for more! I wish I got the oatmeal raisin too but I'll go back!! read more

Ugh these are sooooo good! I ordered three times in a 2 week span. Dangerous!!! They're extra huge and extra delicious. I've tried them all and enjoy them all. My favorites are the cinnamon roll and cookies and cream! Cinnamon roll runs out quick, so order early! read more
