We just got back from visiting our parents in Centreville. We're visiting them from Florida and decided to grab some Crumbl for them. SO glad we made the choice because we were greeted with smiles from every member of the staff we encountered and you can tell this store is well-run! It was clean, smelled amazing, and most importantly: THE COOKIES WERE AWESOME! I got my mom a strawberry crumb cake and my dad the cookies and cream (you can almost smell these pictures!) PS: I have 2 under 2 and they are both pretty wild so it was refreshing to see the staff go out of there way to make my kids feel welcome too! Definitely doesn't happen a lot in Florida! TLDR: Cookies are on the sweeter end, the blueberry muffin was my favorite. Had a mixed feelings going into the store, I recommend just getting delivery to avoid the discomfort. I was craving cookies at night and heard people rave about Crumbl so I had to give it a try. Going in the place was emptier than what I am use to for a cookie store. The few times I went to insomnia or bakeries I would be waiting in a 5-10 minute line so I was pretty happy I didn't have to wait. I ordered the cookies through the kiosk and just waited to the side. I am not sure the roles of the employees, but there was just three standing there in front of a mixer looking like they were arguing with each other. Not sure what the conflict was, but it made me want to leave. After standing there for a while a fourth employee appears displaying the cookies for me to examining them before I take the box. Which I thought was very nice of them. I got 6 cookies, 1 blueberry muffin, 1 churro, 2 chocolate chip and 2 cookies and cream. The blueberry muffin was amazing. Absolutely loved it, if I ever order delivery I would definitely get this. It taste exactly as it sounds, but in a crumbly cookie form. The churro wasn't bad, it reminded me of Cinnabon, my only complaint with it is that the cookie was a bit too warm so the frosting on the cookie was seeping melted butter which was not pleasant. Made the cookie feel and taste greasy. The chocolate chip cookie was too sweet for me. I could see if I had like 2 glasses of milk it being good, but eating it next to the others, it paled in comparison. The last cookie was cookies and cream. I absolutely adore cookies and cream flavored things. This was not to my taste. A bit too sweet and it just tasted like an lackluster oreo. Nothing wrong with oreos, but I expected more for the price of the cookie. Overall, if I were to try this place again I would do delivery. Crumbl Cookies [CC]. (3 stars). "C is for cookie, that's good enough for me." - Cookie Monster I do love cookies. My favorite is chocolate chip with nuts. I'll preface my review by saying I prefer smaller crispier cookies than the ginormous soft chewy ones... I do love desserts & sweets but I'll admit that I prefer dark chocolate to milk or white chocolate. I enjoy cookies but shockingly prefer Mrs. Fields or Cookie Corner to most other cookies on the market. My friend informed me that Crumbl just recently opened in Hawaii & we were just down the street from this location so we both decided to try it. My coworkers have raved about CC & I'm told people stand in line for hours just to get their cookies. These cookies are $5 each or slightly cheaper if you buy the 4 or 6 pack. For me, after trying one bite of 2 of the cookies, I already knew that I wouldn't be a lifelong customer to CC. There's nothing wrong with these cookies. They are just softer & chewier than I prefer. Oh and Sweet. Very sweet. Some people have commented on the fact that their cookies seemed raw or undercooked in the middle. I didn't think the cookies I tried were necessarily undercooked but compared to the crisper cookies I enjoy, it was "soft" inside. There was a slight crispness to the exterior though... After paying & waiting for our order, one of the employees called out what we thought was my friend's name. The order looked the same but I was confused because there were people already waiting for their order. I thought it was odd that our order would be ready before everyone else's. I was about to take a photo when the gentleman behind me asked the employee if that was his order. The employee looked at us & then sheepishly gave the order to the gentleman. Why do I tell this story? People's names can be similar or the same & in some cases, like my name, it can be unisex. If CC just used a NUMBERING system, it would alleviate confusion of names etc. & possible loss of product due to giving an order to wrong the person... just my humble opinion. Staff was friendly but this location just opened a few months ago so I'm sure the staff has gotten more familiar with the recipes & equipment since opening. Parking is available in a shared lot with Lazy Dog Restaurant & a few other establishments. I do wish CC well & at least I got to try their product but I can't say I would wait in a line for them. Once my cousin told me about Crumbl cookies, I lost all self control. Sighhh, I was too addicted. Eventually I just had to stop looking at the social media because the marking is great! Changing the cookies every week?! And even if you don't like the weekly flavors, that chocolate chip they have every week is going to be SUPERB every time; EVERY TIME! I wanted to try out Crumbl because I'd heard so much hype around these cookies but honestly they're a pass for me. I guess some people like incredibly dense and thick cookies but they don't even have the satisfying break like regular cookies do, it just tastes like a dense, uncooked cake especially when you bite in past the edges. Honestly, I'd must prefer Levain or Insomnia cookies anyway. And for the establishment itself, there's not much there. Immediately when you walk in there's 2 iPads to order and no one at the front. It's kind of like an automated cookie system, I guess? You order on your own and then someone from the back quietly brings you your stuff. There's nowhere to sit or do anything, it's just a storefront. This was my first time getting Crumbl cookies (after hearing many rave reviews), and I'm so excited to find one near me!! Every day, they have a different "menu" of cookies, which you can see on the screen (and in display st the counter) when you come in to order. I actually loved the ordering system. It was very seamless. Basically, you pick what size cookie box you want and then select your cookies (literally in the arrangement you want them to be in the box if you care about such details). You pay, enter your name, and wait for it to be called! When the cookies are ready about 0.5 seconds later, they will show you the inside to confirm it's correct and then you're on your way! The flavors available the day I went in were: oatmeal chocolate chip, chocolate chip (milk chocolate), Oreo, maple glaze, fruit pizza, and chocolate mallow cupcake. I got 4 cookies, so all but the chocolate mallow cupcake & oatmeal. All of them were excellent. I would say they are soft, and not so much crispy, so if you look crispy cookies you may not like them. I loved them! The fruit pizza was so good - it was like a sugar cookie with cream cheese frosting and topped with fruit (clearly fruit tart inspired). It was the only cookie served chilled, which was cool and made sense. I gotta say... I love having frosting on my cookie:) the Oreo cookie did have a bit of crisp to the outside, so that was nice. All the flavors were good! The cookies are massive, so one per person is def enough, but ofc it's fun to get a box and eat over the week. We cut ours in half so we could each try a bit:) read more

This place is new but the service is still good. I lowered my expectations after knowing that CC are franchised and each location can be different when it comes to service. I come here almost each week to try cookies that just look so delicious and tempting to eat! Each week there are new flavors on a rotation..which I love! You will never get tired of the same ol flavors, but you can also miss out on flavors if you're not quick enough either! I love that this location is finally open in Chantilly because it is literally walking distance from my office!! My favorite flavor is the chocolate strawberry cheesecake cookie!!
