I went yesterday to treat my 6 year old to a cookie. When we got there he didn't want one(I know! What kind of child do I have )... anyway. I order the peanut butter nuget for myself and it came out right away and we left. I get back to my office and start to eat the cookie and noticed it was EXTREMELY salty. Inedibly salty. I called and informed them that the cookie was really salty and they told me to come back so they can replace it. When I went back they did in fact try the cookie dough from that cookie and agreed it was saltier than it was supposed to be and gave me another cookie. I got the buckeye cookie and it was pretty tasty. I love peanut butter but it was pretty thick on this cookie. But still all in all pretty good. I'm glad they believed me and tried the cookie dough instead of thinking I was just anything complaining customer. read more

We went to Crumbl Ashburn last Saturday. They were very busy, so we waited for about 20 minutes to get our order. This was no problem because they are popular. As we waited I observed Nico as he did the final prep for the orders. Though wearing gloves, he repeatedly grabbed his bare ankle to stretch his quad, rubbed his ear, scratched the back of his bare neck, and adjusted his hat and glasses numerous times; all without ever changing gloves before touching the next customer's food. Before he prepared our order, I quietly asked him to change his gloves before touching our food. He stepped back and stated loudly to everyone present, "Would you like to come back here and do this?" before stomping off to complain to his manager. The manager approached me and I again quietly relayed the health violations I had observed. She nodded, said something to Nico I did not hear and went back to her station without offering any apology or explanation. When Nico returned with fresh gloves, unbeknownst to him, our order was next. Nico finished with the toppings, called my name, and then realized it was me. He turned to the woman next to him and asked her to bring me the order, which she did without incident. Meanwhile, Nico made a show of taking off the gloves used for our order, threw them away and blew a kiss at me. Not only was the lack of hygiene disappointing, and unacceptable, but also the complete lack of customer service, social awareness and common decency. Please keep an eye out when ordering should you choose to eat food prepared by Nico. read more

Yum! First tried Crumbl Cookies at their Vienna location. I'm glad there is a closer location to us. Not sure how good it is for my waistline, lol. This place is dangerous. There are different specialty flavors that change each week. The bakery is clean, neat, and organized. You may place your order with a cashier or use their touch screen ordering system (there is hand sanitizer available). Employees are friendly and wrapped up our goodies neatly. We tried the Party Box and it's definitely a party in a box. Super fresh cookies made with quality ingredients. Some of our favorites are the Hazelnut Sea Salt, Hawaii Rainbow Cake, Pineapple Whip, and Milk Chocolate Chip. So glad there is a closer location to us. read more

This, like most locations, I find is pretty quite but really nice. Self checkout and the cookies are super fun. I love how big they are but of course can't usually eat the whole thing in one go. I love the cookies but in my opinion there is typically a lot of icing and they tend to be very sweet for me. This of course isn't going to change but for those who feel the same, I usually cut off some of the icing or just get ones that don't come with any. Service is great! They always welcome you and always ensure your order is correct. And while there is no seating, people typically are there to just grab and go, the atmosphere is still 10/10 cozy, open, and welcoming. read more

Ended up here after getting a coupon for a free cookie. The interior of Crumbl has a small area in the front where you can order your cookies from the cashier or use self-service tablet stations and then wait with everyone else for your delicious cookie to be hand delivered for your inspection. They don't really have chairs to discourage people from hanging out there as it's only a takeout place. Their selection changes weekly so when I went, I tried one of the weekly specials, the iced oatmeal. This was the best iced oatmeal cookie I've ever had. It came warm and the icing was still gooey and it was incredible. My date got the peanut butter featuring snickers and that was also delicious. I can see this becoming a weekly or monthly treat but the price definitely hurts the wallet! read more

I need a candle that smells like this cookie shop because it's amazing! Stopped here on a whim a couple of weeks ago for a treat for the fam and we tried the pink sugar, waffle, chocolate chunk and peppermint cupcake. Each cookie was warm and soft even after the drive home (they barely made it). We opted to get the waffle without the cream cheese dollop because of allergy issues but it was still delicious and came with its own maple syrup to dunk or top - we chose to dunk! The pink sugar was a kid favorite and the chocolate chunk had huge chunks of warm gooey chocolate that melted in our mouths. The peppermint chocolate was an easy winner in my book and reminded me of Christmas. The peppermint chips on top were the perfect crunch and sweet bite. It also was a rich chocolate cookie with chunks of chocolate throughout. I could go on and on but by the time you've read this I'm sure their selection has already changed. Can't wait to try more on our next visit. read more
