We finally made it to the Centerville O Bread, and they didn't disappoint. The selection here seems to be either identical or slightly bigger than that for their Annandale store. Regardless, I recognised many of the same elements here that made us fans of the Annandale store, such as whole wheat baked goods, green tea castella, and sweet egg toast that I pretty much can't find at any other bakery. Unlike their first store, this one has lots of tables and chairs and at first glance, looks almost like Tous les Jours or Paris Baguette. Long live O Bread.

I've been coming to O Bread in Centerville since Thanksgiving, steadily about once a week now, often with different groups. This location is fantastic! It offers so many food options and a spacious, comfortable seating area. One thing I really appreciate is the variety of non-caffeinated drink options--perfect for those of us who don't always want coffee or tea. Today, I tried the Jolly Pop milkshake along with the banana bun. The banana bun was such a delightful treat--light banana bread filled with cream and slices of banana. It's always exciting to discover something new and delicious here! The cafe has a very low-key and quiet vibe, making it an enjoyable and relaxing spot to hang out. Highly recommend!

Love their selection of organic bread. Ordered a cake for my mom's birthday and while the cake shape wasn't great it did fall apart when we cut it open the flavor was amazing. It tasted so much better than other Korean bakery cakes. You could tell it was homemade with love.

This organic Korean bakery is located in Centreville at Pickwick Square Shopping Center. It offers a variety of baked goods, including cakes, breads, cookies, and many vegetarian options. They are known for having healthier organic breads and pastries than those from other bakeries. Their chiffon cake with cream and fruits is also delicious. Even their new caffeinated drink, Iced Cream Coffee, has a subtle sweetness in its cream, which is topped over coffee with an acidic flavor that feels healthy. Service is good; a staff member even explained how to enjoy this new coffee drink better. The ambiance is clean and bright, with comfortable seating.

I looooove this place and have to physically restrain myself from going anymore. There is a HUGE selection of Korean style breads (both sweet and savory), pastries, and cakes. They are not too sweet and sooo yummy as a treat. Some of my favorites are the blueberry cream cheese, matcha red bean, and the spicy hot dog bun. Coffee is average, but nice selection of drinks and bingsoos. Love the ambiance--great place to work or study or catch up with friends. There is usually soft jazz or lofi playing, which is a nice touch. You get a buzzer if you order a drink, but it usually comes out fairly quickly. They also have a small station for creamer, milk, etc.

I went to O Bread & Cakes recently to have coffee with a friend and to try some breads. First impression: the interiors are so cute! My friend and I reached for the baskets to pick out breads. I love that the breads that need to be refrigerated have stickers on them. We also ordered coffee along with our bread orders. If you like to eat the bread inside the bakery, they have an oven to reheat them. My friend and I stayed a bit to share a chocolate mousse with our coffee. The staff was helpful and the space was clean even when it's really busy. The breads I bought were delicious and not too sweet. I would love to visit this place again soon!

About a 1-1.5: Yikes, O Bread - I was excited to check your newer location out, as we used to frequent the Annandale location often. However, the items that we purchased were just not great and not the quality that we expected (and are used to) from our other visits. The corn cheese bread was slightly stale, and didn't have much of a corn and cheese topping - this was also super bland. The blueberry creamcheese-filled bread had an off-putting taste to it, thinking it was a few days old? The bulgogi sandwich looked tasty, and with the high pricing of it, this was definitely not worth it. The bulgogi had no flavor, whatsoever, and was very dry; the coleslaw was wet and had no seasoning; the white bread slices were super dry and stale. The only saving grace were the oatmeal raisin cookies - these were a pleasant surprise, with a slight chew. Staff were friendly, and there's ample seating. I liked the artwork that adorned the walls! There is a microwave available to heat up your bread(s), if you wish. Located in the Pickwick Square Shopping Center, there's ample parking in the lot. +old, stale, not-so-fresh breads +avoid their sandwiches +friendly service +located in the Pickwick Square Shopping Center +parking available in the shared plaza lot

Happened to come across this place when looking for cafes to go to after dinner. It's located in the pickwick square shopping center, near So Korean BBQ and Bon Tea House. Plenty of parking in the public lot. They advertise using organic ingredients and flour. Cute vibe and atmosphere. Friendly staff. They have fun and different cafe beverages like sweet potato latte, lavender latte, taro lattes, and different types of ades. We went here around 8-9ish at night after dinner, there were seats open, and it was easy to order. We got the sweet potato cale and chocolate mousse with pistachio latte and peppermint tea. I really enjoyed my pistachio latte-it was different and tasty. The sweet potato cake was good but a little bit dry. The chocolate mousse was very good and light. All of this came to about $20. I would definitely come back!

Had been curious about this place but never made it check it out until recently. I wondered why I hadn't come sooner! It's located in a small strip mall and looks very unassuming from the outside. I was surprised from the moment I walked. It had a great ambiance with nice comfortable seating. The space is bright, clean, and has very appealing aesthetics. As for the bread and sweets, I was immediately surprised that they use organic flour. They offer many of the familiar Korean breads you'd find at Korean bakeries, but they put their own spin on it, which I really liked and made me want to try almost everything. For example, instead of just the typical green sweet bean bread, they had a green sweet bean brioche bread that was twisted into a wreath. I bought the green bean brioche and gallego red bean bread for my son. I got a yogurt blueberry cream bread for myself. It's not something I normally would've gone for, but it looked tasty. I also picked up a mammoth bread, which usually has some combination of cream and red bean inside with a streusel covering on top. This one is made with an organic multigrain. I would've bought a few more items to try, but I knew I wouldn't be able to try them all soon because I had to be somewhere. Service was good. There are two registers so check out wasn't an issue. They serve coffee and such, but again I wasn't able to try any this time. I saw a big group of ladies enjoying their time there and a few of people working on their laptops. This tells me it's a comfortable place to hang out. I'll hav two come back another time to try some more of their goods.

    Blueberry Yoghurt Cake

My friend brought this Blueberry Yoghurt Cake to our get together as the dessert. I gotta say, it was a pleasant surprise. The good: -This six inch cake was less than $30. -The blueberries felt fresh. -The creaminess from the yoghurt was refreshing. -The dough was solid. However, the only weird part was that it was my first time eating a cake that wasn't sweet-based. The slight sweetness from every part of the cake was light -- a tad bit too light. Overall, it was a good cake for the price.

This is my favorite place to get bingsoo. It's so hard to find good bingsoo in the area, but Obread nails it every time! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming so it's a great spot to hang out.

    Yogurt Berry Bingsoo
    Virginia H.

We usually get dessert here whenever we have dinner around Centreville. We decided to try the Yogurt Berry Bingsoo. I was surprised from the way they served their bingsoo because the shaved ice and the toppings were separated into two bowls. They also provided empty bowls for us. Although it was different, it was still yummy scooping the shaved ice with berries and lots of mochi! The interior is spacious to hang out with friends and a cozy environment to work or study. It does get crowded on weekends, which can be a bit loud. I will definitely come back to try their organic bread and pastries!

I wasn't too impressed with their version of the smoked salmon open sandwich because it was difficult to eat. Everything fell apart and/or would break down easily to make a balanced bite. It's a good place to meet up & the food & beverages aren't horrible, so to connect with people, yes, worth it. For the food? Not exactly. Seriously, everything looked absolutely wonderful. Makes one want to buy everything in sight. Textures are great. Light, fluffy bread on red bean bun. The filling nothing special. Same with the blueberry pastry... nothing super yummy & not much filling. Couldn't taste the blueberry. Kinda disappointing. So, while I'd not go out of my way for their baked goods & coffee, I'd definitely nosh on something while hanging out with friends as long as we could find seats.
