Decent place, decent ice cream, and a decent Thai iced tea in my opinion. Although I personally think that this establishment would look a lot better if all of the wall art was actually painted on the walls, rather than stickers and wallpaper. Otherwise this could be a very cute place and I think it has the potential to be a very nice spot.
I didn't realize how hard it is to find rolled ice cream in the area post covid but drove nearly 30 minutes to this spot to try them out! My nephew had never had rolled ice cream before, and I wanted him to get the experience. I ended up with a crepe with ice cream on top. Both my nephew and I thought the ice cream was outstanding! The staff was super patient with him while he placed his order, and they were making sure to put on a show while we watched them make our desserts! The owner was in the store and very pleasant to speak with. He made sure that my nephew enjoyed his experience! There are a few tables for sitting inside and the parking lot is huge.

Overall, 4.5/5 but will round up to a 5/5 because it's a cute place and lots of kids seem to have a good time here (saw at least seven kids here in the span of 30 minutes, lol) This place only has rolled ice cream, milkshakes and crepes. So if you want a scoop of ice cream, then this place isn't for you. But you really should try La Moo because it's pretty good! I like that there's a kid size here which is actually a pretty standard size ($5.95). I really liked the "Kiwi Berry" rolled ice cream here (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry syrup toppings) and I was able to add a topping for free upon first check in on Yelp. Graham cracker was a great choice! They pour in liquid vanilla ice cream mixed with a slice of kiwi to let it solidify before rolling it. What you're paying for is definitely the preparation and presentation. I would highly recommend the "Kiwi Berry" if you like something sweet & fruity.

I was a bit confused by the options on the wall, kind woman suggested bananas foster so I went with that. They take liquid and freeze it on circular pans creating a thin sheet which they roll up. So it takes time to create (do not go in a rush!). I got a child size $6 and change--so it is pricy. The ice cream has a full creamy feel on the tongue and the rum ice cream flavor was subtle. The bananas were not as ripe as I like (am Latina). But it is very good. MANY young boys came through--as other posters have said it is good for kids. You can watch the process so am sure that appeals to kids. I like the concept and I definitely suggest trying it out. There are many options read before your first trip.

Enter and there is a huge chalk board with recommended ice cream selections. This is rolled ice cream, not scooped or soft serve. So it may not be what you're looking for if you want a really traditional cup with sprinkles. (Real talk: I could buy that in a pint at the supermarket in the same shopping center.) However, if you want a crepe or a milkshake or a slushee or rolled ice cream, this is your spot. Everything is made right in front of you. There is a big selection of add-ins, including boba. (Yes a boba milkshake. Yum!) Everything I've tried has been delicious. Masks are required as of mid-2021. Please don't harass the teens and 20-somethings who work here about wearing a mask. And give them an extra tip! Nice atmosphere and good treats.

This is a u inquest roll on ice cream. The flavors are very creative and unique. This is definitely not your average ice cream parlor. The ice cream is delicious. The flavor is perfect. I also really liked how they included strawberry bits within the green tea rolled ice cream. Would highly recommend trying it out. And the staff was extremely friendly and helped my friends with recommendations on what to order.
The best ice cream in Arlington!!! The best rolled ice cream! Monkey business is my go to. The dozer and s'mores are good choices too. I moved away from Arlington but I still come back just to get my monkey business

Chelsea is the new boss in town (new owner) and shes on it!! She was super patient in explaining the different options - and suggested mixing my two favs coffee and mint Oreo - delish !! She then made a vegan sugar free pineapple and coconut slushie for my mom and we added boba bubbles and mango bubbles to it- awesome! These babies can take a minute so be patient :). Awesome neighborhood spot!

Adorable ice cream spot in the North Harrison plaza! They have rolled ice cream and have a lot of different customization options for toppings and flavors. They have nondairy options of a slushy or crushed ice. I got the cotton candy and it was yummy! I didn't finish it because the syrup ran out about 3/4 of the way through, but it was super sweet! When we went, there were two employees there on a Saturday. Service was a bit slow, but we didn't wait longer than 10-15 minutes. Would definitely go back! read more

I've gotta say, this still isn't the worst ice cream I've had in my life, but it is the most overrated. For some reason, they had to roll the ice cream. If you look at the photograph I added, you'll notice they were short-staffed, and it took forever to make my ice cream. The line was so long that I thought I was going to drop dead waiting. There was also a brutal lack of indoor seating. It is wheelchair accessible. read more

My Mom and I went here after getting pizza at Pietanza. We thought it was like a normal scoop shop where you just pick a flavor and they put it into a cup or cone. It is not. It's one of those places that mixes flavors on a flat plate and then rolls the ice cream up with utensils that look like spackling knives. I got Smooores and my Mom got Coconut Crunch. We loooved it. We weren't that hungry so we got kid sized and it's really probably enough for most people. Everyone working this Thursday evening shift was great. It was an organized crew and they served everyone pretty quickly considering it was very busy. read more
Women and POC owned? Yes please! The staff were young but super friendly and polite. Service was quick and efficient. I also really appreciate that the store front is closed for what I assume is for the staff's safety. I also appreciate the that they have kid sizes, perfect for the little ones. The ice cream was smooth, creamy, and delicious. 10/10 would recommend again. read more

I visited here last week because I was craving ice cream. The safety precautions at la moo were one phenomenal. We couldn't go into the actual shop and we ordered at the door behind plexiglass. We inserted our credit card into a little trader and tbere was hand sanitizer everywhere The actual ice cream and la moo creations were fabulous. I love chcolate and peanut butter so We had to get the reeses creation but we also ordered the Ube with coconut flakes and condensed milk. WOW just wow. The flavors were awesome and I truly enjoyed it. read more

What a fun place!!!! Great menu so unique. It's definitely a treat because it is so expensive but the Yelp check in perk is nice. Got a free topping. Definitely worth a stop but not going to be my regular ice cream spot. read more
Oh man did this make my day! We stopped over here after dinner a couple doors down at Pie-Tanza. I got the mint ting a ling subbing chocolate drizzle for the caramel. My mom got whatever the Oreo one was and added caramel. Both were delicious. Sometimes ice cream gets crystallized and doesn't taste right but this was good, but I wish it was a little richer/creamier! Was fun to watch them make it and roll it, and I like how everything can be kind of customized. I wish the Oreo chunks in ours had been bigger - it was more like crumbs and I prefer it to be chunks. The mint was perfect for my post-pizza heartburn. My body wasn't happy about the dairy but that's my problem :) There are a ton of flavor combos so I recommend looking at the menus ahead of time so you know why you want otherwise you might be standing there awhile figuring it out. read more

This popped up as one of the dessert suggestions on yelp. I was with a group of people that weren't exactly craving one particular item, so I opted for a place with variety. La Moo is best known for their rolled ice cream. Crepes and bubble tea seem to be their side gig, which is very apparent. There is definitely room for improvement. Everyone ordered rolled ice cream except me. It has been years since I've had a crepe. Unfortunately this was a huge letdown. They got everything right except the actual crepe itself. It tasted completely raw, almost like a tortilla. Another person ordered a Thai iced bubble tea. She described it as the worst boba she has ever had. It tasted diluted and watery. Needless to say, we all agree that you should stick to the rolled ice cream. I had a couple spoonfuls of the tea party (Thai tea), cookies n cream and s-moores ice cream. My favorite was tea party. I will say it tastes nothing like Thai tea. It has more of a funfetti/birthday cake feel. The s-moores one was definitely the most photogenic. It was pretty tasty, but not my favorite. Cookies n cream is the safe option. You can't go wrong with a classic. Plus, they include a whole Oreo in the cup. I suggest coming here for the ice cream only. They offer 20 pre-set creations, and the option to customize your own. Perhaps I will be back, but there are many other rolled ice cream options out there. read more

Stopped by to try this place out! We got one of the creations with green tea ice cream and the strawberry and nutella crepe. The green tea ice cream wasn't as rich and flavorful as I was hoping for and was slightly dull in green tea flavor. Good amount of toppings on it. The crepe was made very well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wasn't too sweet and was actually easy to eat (not too messy). read more

Fun spot for that latest crazy of ice cream blended and rolled into cylinders! Good service, the cashier helped explain the menu to several folks and the blenders were skilled and quick. I got one of the combo recommendations for coconut with brown sugar and waffle bits, delicious! She started out by preparing a cup of the ingredients to blend and getting a liquid cup of the coconut ice cream base. Poured the liquid into a cold round surface and started blending in the toppings, chopping and scrapping, then smoothing it out. She flattened it into a large rectangle and the. Scrapped it into rolls, picked up with tongs and placed in the cup, topped with whip cream, coconut flakes, and the waffle bits. Delicious! The plastic spoons provided were all temperature reactive and turned blue or other colors as they touched the ice cream or your mouth, fun! Good place for a treat, fun method of assembly and many varieties of fresh made ice cream. A bit pricey, was about $7.50 per person with the whipped cream topping for a regular single cup. Recommended! read more
