    Cinna-Bun crêpe

Even though the Cottage Crêperie is in a relatively busy section of Gettysburg, it manages to have a tucked-away feeling from the ambiance inside. It's a cozy little place with very little seating, so we got there right when it opened. The Cottage Crêperie is beautifully decorated and the workers were so kind and welcoming. The worst part of our experience was having to somehow choose a crêpe! There's a savory section and a sweet section for whatever you're in the mood for that day. The good news is that it's hard to go wrong here. Even my super picky son couldn't get enough of his crêpe. Should I ever be back in Gettysburg, I will make every attempt to come back and try some new ones. Highly recommended!

Wonderful customer service. While waiting in line to order our food, our group was able to talk with some customers and the staff. A very informative experience. There is a customer who has tried every crepe on the menu and comes often. The outdoor patio area is a decent temperature for the winter. There's only one outdoor heater, so bundle up if you can't sit near the heater. This company was very good about accommodating food restrictions. This is definitely not a full meal without any animal proteins, but for the volume of food that you get, the price is worth it. Wonderful experience. If you have a water bottle that you bring in, they will fill it up with ice and water if you ask for that. Very kind and generous people! This business is only 3 years old, but it's run like a well-oiled machine. Thank you everyone at the Cottage Creperie!

The perfect stop for a quick breakfast! It's a very quaint crepe shop with a very friendly staff. So many crepe choices too! My husband got one that was essentially a bacon, egg, and cheese. I got one with strawberries and mascarpone. Both super delicious! On top of that, the homemade iced tea and coffee are incredible. I didn't even need sweetener in my coffee, which is very rare. Love this place!

This place is amazingly good. Charming little cottage in downtown Gettysburg. Great menu. You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Everything is made to order in front of you. They have 2 people making crepes at one time, but they do bring out your order as soon as it's ready, they don't wait for the whole tables to be ready (which I prefer!). Our only complaint was that the Iced Tea was not fresh.

While visiting Gettysburg, we decided to try out this crepes place for breakfast. The staff was so incredibly nice and friendly. The crepes were very diverse and delectable. There a variety and it was hard to choose. We both went with savory. The coffee was good and the atmosphere was that of a cute and kitschy. We loved it. I can't wait to try other crepes from there.

Absolutely delicious crêpes made fresh to order. They offer a wide variety of savory and sweet crepes from the most charming little storefront. Staff are very friendly and helpful and many crepes are available in a fully vegan version. My family tried the classic Nutella, strawberry and banana, the s'mores and the shroom veggie crêpes. They were all fantastic. They are a good size and make a nice breakfast or light lunch. Cottage Crêperie also serves up a variety of coffee drinks which go nicely with the crêpes. There is seating for 12 inside and a couple more tables outside on the patio. Parking is street-side only and there are meters. The location is minutes from the Gettysburg Battlefield if you're touring.

Staff was amazing. Crepes were out of this world! Small place though finding seating could be challenging

Food is excellent!! So few places that have vegan options and they have a great selection. Good prices and friendly staff. Recommend the french press coffee for two.

Sweet and Savory Crepe with added sausage.

The crepes were large but not overbearing. The flavor and presentation were excellent. Service was accommodating. I ordered the sweet and savory but I wanted to have a bit more meat and they happily added sausage. The seating is limited so don't be surprised when you show up. Best for small groups or to-go orders.

Built in 1776, it has been a family home, the first classical school west of the Susquehanna River, a stop on the Underground Railroad, and even a Civil War field hospital. Today, you can grab an incredible meal while surrounded by centuries of history. If you go, eat in the basement tavern. The atmosphere alone is worth the trip. I kicked things off with the Baked King's Onion Soup, loaded with perfectly toasted cheese and a surprise twist--shredded beef that took it to another level. I followed that with the Spit Roasted Chicken Dinner, roasted the old-fashioned way over an open fire until the skin was perfectly crisp while the meat stayed juicy and tender. Because apparently I arrived with the appetite of all 19 Dobbin kids, I also ordered the Dobbin's Hot Beef Sandwich. Tender roast beef on a buttery brioche roll with rich au jus for dipping? Absolutely demolished it. Then came the roast beef club with Swiss, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, plus not one... but two sides of potato salad. Pro tip: dip the potato salad into the onion soup. You're welcome. The Dobbin House proves that great food never goes out of style. They say you can't eat history... but after this meal, I'm pretty sure I did. If these walls could talk, they'd probably tell me to slow down next time.

First off, service was dialed in: attentive without hovering, genuinely warm, and paced just right for a relaxed evening. Cocktails ("bespoke") can sometimes feel like an afterthought at places like this, but not here. The La Dulce Vida was excellent--balanced, not overly sweet, and actually worth ordering again (rare). We split the baby beet salad and honestly could've eaten two. Bright, fresh, and one of those dishes that makes you rethink how good something simple can be. Mains: duck à l'orange and steak frites. Both delivered. The duck had that perfect mix of richness and citrus, and the steak was cooked spot-on--though fair warning, it's a serious portion. The frites skip the usual cone presentation, but they're crispy and plentiful, so no real complaints. All in around $200 with tip for two, which felt fair given the quality across the board. This is the kind of place that doesn't try too hard--and gets almost everything right. Would come back.

I can't tell you how many times that medium is what I usually get when requesting medium-rare at restaurants. There's a big difference between the two in terms of internal temperature, center color, and texture. This place knows how to properly cook a medium-rare burger, and for me, that's a sign of quality and sets it apart. The sidewinder fries are fab as are the homemade potato chips and either comes with burgers. The dressing on the coleslaw needs some seasoning, but the slaw itself is fresh and crunchy. The Maryland crab soup is pretty slammin', too. I favor the back dining room, not the bar (in front). These 2 areas have different vibes. The back room feels like the way a burger joint should be. The bar is, well, more bar-ish. One of the servers, Brody, provides exceptional service--a shout out to him. It was nice because we didn't wait long to be served and we had I nice view of the entire restaurant. A very rustic place that looked as I would imagine it did in 1863. My friend ordered a Caesar salad, fillet, and a baked potato. The salad came with a freshly baked yeast dinner roll. Fillet was cooked to perfection.
