Shoutout to Brenda for the awesome service and to the house coffee for being the best cup in town. Great prices, huge portions, and zero regrets... except maybe wearing jeans with a button. First off, service was dialed in: attentive without hovering, genuinely warm, and paced just right for a relaxed evening. Cocktails ("bespoke") can sometimes feel like an afterthought at places like this, but not here. The La Dulce Vida was excellent--balanced, not overly sweet, and actually worth ordering again (rare). We split the baby beet salad and honestly could've eaten two. Bright, fresh, and one of those dishes that makes you rethink how good something simple can be. Mains: duck à l'orange and steak frites. Both delivered. The duck had that perfect mix of richness and citrus, and the steak was cooked spot-on--though fair warning, it's a serious portion. The frites skip the usual cone presentation, but they're crispy and plentiful, so no real complaints. All in around $200 with tip for two, which felt fair given the quality across the board. This is the kind of place that doesn't try too hard--and gets almost everything right. Would come back.

My sister, niece and I had a lovely girls lunch recently. The menu is varied but not overwhelming. This is a breakfast/lunch spot with a nod to a Greek diner... lots of Greek options, normal breakfast fare and sandwiches. We sampled a typical breakfast of pancakes with bacon which was very good. Pancakes were fluffy and bacon crisp. Coffee is a huge disappointment however, it is very, very weak. Two of us sampled the Greek specialties... a gyro and a chicken souvlaki. Both were disappointing -- there was plenty of meat in both but chicken seriously under seasoned and not grilled much. The sandwiches, which typically have sliced onions and tomato salad, were lacking that crunch and acidity. Instead, they were covered in a very thick tzatziki. Again, the tzatziki lacked seasoning . It was way too thick, no discernible cucumbers or dill. Fries were outstanding. We shared a huge baklava which was delicious. Happy to give it another try because of the staff, location , vibe and baklava!
