Chef de Crepe in Camp Hill was the perfect early Valentine's brunch spot. The atmosphere felt cozy and charming, and we loved how one section of the menu is inspired by the owner's travels to different countries such a fun, personal touch. Ryan ordered the maple cinnamon latte and it was so good. The maple flavor was noticeable without overpowering the coffee, and it had that warm, balanced sweetness that just works. I had the Parisian macchiato, which was equally delicious. For food, we ordered the huevos rotos galette and the croque madame. Both were absolutely incredible. The galette was savory, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the croque madame was rich without being too heavy. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The only slight downside was that our drinks came out a little after our food, but honestly, it wasn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. We'll definitely be back. Chef de Crepe is officially on our repeat list.
Saturday for sure this is a hot breakfast and brunch spot. Since it's only for a person of one, I was quickly seated at the bar. The place is very quaint and girlish, a lot of pink and white and Eiffel Towers that does give you a feel of Paris. The menu and utensils were all set up at the counter. I was excited to see Gallette because I had it in France and was very interested to see how it compares. The place was busy and so it took a while even for the barista or cashier at the counter to take my order. I decided to order the Huevos Roto Gallette. since this was the only thing I orderedt, it took a while, but I waited and observed the scene. The place is full with a waiting list and people are really enjoying their food. Conversation between two customers and the barista tell that this is a popular place and often are busy. my crêpe finally arrived, and it was May fresh and overall very delicious. I love that the crêpe base is made of buckwheat, which is hard to find here in the US and it was very well done. My only slight critique would be to make it slightly less salty since the prosciutto was already salty. All the servers were very nice and and looks like work together well as a team I definitely recommend this place and we'll go back and visit.
Breakfast restaurant selection by the 16yo and it was excellent! We did not have reservations but were able to be seated immediately on the outdoor patio. The umbrellas provided shade and the occasional breeze was so pleasant. There was instrumental music playing at a perfect volume. Our server was Riley; she was extremely helpful with recommendations and answered some questions. Everyone in our dining party enjoyed their selections. My iced lavender latte was so yummy and the orange juice was perfectly freshly squeezed.
Chef de Crepe is such a cute place in Camp Hill. The staff is friendly and owners were nice and said hi to guests. It's clean and able to host events - which I find such a great idea for a group brunch. Our crepes were perfect, we had a sweet one and savory - they are filled well and flavorful. Cannot wait to come back and recommend!
First time visiting and certainly not last. Everything was such a charming experience. From the cute place, the friendly welcoming service, the coffee the food. Can tell this fine establishment it's going to keep succeeding on and on. Will definitely recommend to put a reservation because it seems to get busy and once you get the experience you will see why. Very Clean & Bright! Well appropriated seating to maximize seating a server's efficiency! Menus are quite unique! My wife ordered the East Coast Croissant which came with seasoned potatoes it was more than she could handle she washed it down with a Raspberry White Chocolate Latte. I Had the ale Breakfast American Crepe with a cup of Freshly Dipped Chocolate delicious! Olivia our server very pleasant & efficient . We'll definitely return a great 1st experience.
I love this restaurant for brunch they have great crepes, croissants, and sandwiches. Fries are delicious (Parmesan). Service is great, aesthetic setting-- would recommend making reservations since inside is small especially if you have a larger party. Highly recommend anything on their menu.
I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The farthest I had gotten before was a takeout beverage during one of the town events. The place is beautifully decorated. I was quickly sat. I ordered a special beverage which was hot and very good. I ordered the Canadian crepe. It was very good, savory but a little sweet. The only reason I took a star away is because the place is a little overpriced I believe.
I always like to check out the local fare when I'm traveling, and Chef de Crepe showed up on yelp when I was looking for weekend brunch. It's located in an old house in a suburban area across the river from Harrisburg. They were very busy when I arrived, and I put my name in and took advantage of the mild November weather to walk around the neighborhood while I waited for the text message to inform me my table was ready. I ended up walking back quickly because my wait time was shorter than anticipated. I was seated at a cute, small table which was unfortunately in a thoroughfare, so there was a lot of people walking by, but it wasn't too much of an issue. There was a wide variety of breakfast and brunch dishes available including both sweet and savory crepes. They had an extensive season selection of food and non-alcoholic beverages available as well. I ordered a salmon crepe with egg along with a coffee. I wasn't sure how the egg would work with salmon, but I was pleasantly surprised at the taste/texture combo. I should have stopped there, but I felt that my meal wouldn't be complete without a sweet crepe, so I ordered the New Yorkers Gift. The Nutella, strawberries and bananas all paired perfectly. Overall, I would definitely recommend Chef de Crepe for breakfast or brunch if you are looking for quality atmosphere and food and are not looking for a full bar. I'll probably stop by again next time I am in the Harrisburg area.
This place is deceiving, when you walk in the door it looks like the smallest restaurant ever. However, there's a bunch of seats and tables in the back room. Even with the back area you should make a reservation if you want a table. The staff is pretty special also our waitress was as nice as pie and she made me feel right at home while I waited for my group to arrive. I occupied myself by looking at the menus and I waffled between several of the choices. Then I had to pick from the specials since the Octoberfest Crepe caught my eyes... It has sour kraut! I love the stuff. This was terrific with kielbasa and it was just filling enough. Yum I'm going to have to try it again!

If you are looking for a girls' time brunch spot, then this is definitely the place. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. Pastel colors wall, lovely decorations, girly vibes. They have good variety of menu options. I tried their savory buckwheat crepe, holiday dinner crepe, and sweet crepe. The buckwheat crepe was a bit too salty for my taste while the Holiday Dinner crepe was just bland. The sweet crepe on the other hand was delicious. Coffees were great as well. Waitresses were friendly and nice. It's a cute spot and the environment somewhat makes up for the food.

When I was invited to a birthday brunch at Chef de Crêpe, I was simultaneously excited and nervous. Excited because I'd never eaten there before. Nervous because my only previous experiences with crêpes involved repeatedly attempting to make them myself and repeatedly disappointing myself with my terrible crêpe-making skills. But I RSVP'd YES and hoped the professionals were significantly better at this than I am. Our party of nine arrived for a noon Sunday reservation and was promptly seated toward the back of a VERY busy restaurant. Nine seats. Nine bodies. On time. We were off to a great start! I'd studied the menu beforehand because there are a surprising number of sweet and savory crêpes, galettes and handhelds to choose from. I ultimately ordered the Chicken Florentine for $14, made with chicken, sautéed mushrooms, spinach, mozzarella, red onions, garlic and Mom's Béchamel Sauce. I also ordered a Diet Coke, which turned out to be a can for $3.10. When I ordered a second, our waitress did let me know I'd be charged for another can, which I appreciated. But $6.20 for two cans of Diet Coke still hurt my feelings a little. Our food arrived and my Chicken Florentine was FABULOUS. Apparently the secret to enjoying crêpes is having someone other than Alexis make them. The filling was flavorful, everything worked beautifully together and the actual crêpe was wonderfully prepared. Unfortunately, the Birthday Girl wasn't nearly as lucky. She cut into her Mexi Steak crêpe and discovered a hair that definitely wasn't hers. When she got our waitress's attention, the response felt strangely annoyed and there wasn't an apology. The plate was silently taken away. I understand that mistakes happen, especially in a packed restaurant, but hair in food is no bueno and a simple "I'm so sorry about that" would have gone a long way. Her replacement also took long enough that most of us had finished eating by the time it arrived. Thankfully, everyone shared their meals with her in the meantime. When the replacement finally came out, our waitress said, "The chef sends his apologies," but by then the Birthday Girl had eaten enough of everyone else's food that she asked for a box and took her replacement home. Thankfully, we weren't finished because...DESSERT CRÊPES! I ordered the Cookie Butter for $12.25 with sweet cream cheese, Biscoff cookie butter, chocolate chips and shortbread. It was FABULOUS. Several of us shared tastes of our desserts, so I also tried the J'adore Reese's with banana, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Nutella and cinnamon, which I loved, and the La Parisienne with Grand Marnier, sugar, raspberries and Hershey syrup, which was fine but not really my thing. And Chef de Crêpe, I HAVE AN IDEA FOR YOU. SWEET CRÊPE FLIGHTS! Give me little mini crêpes so I can sample several flavors without committing to an entire dessert crêpe. I would order that SO FAST! Toward the end of our meal, our waitress brought the Birthday Girl a little cup of whipped cream with a lit candle and a miniature light-up Eiffel Tower. It was adorable! We took pictures and sang Happy Birthday, and it was an especially nice touch after the unfortunate start to her meal. With the automatically added gratuity for our large party, my total came to about $40. That's not outrageous for brunch and dessert, but it also wasn't inexpensive. Especially when $6.20 of that was two cans of Diet Coke. The restaurant itself is whimsical and cute, almost like stepping into a little girl's Parisian tea party. It was perfect for a Sunday birthday brunch with the girls, even if the aesthetic isn't particularly "me." Overall, I'm glad I said yes to this adventure. I ate two genuinely delicious crêpes, sampled several others, celebrated a friend and finally discovered that I don't dislike crêpes. I just dislike MY crêpes. Would I personally make Chef de Crêpe a regular stop? Probably not. Between the price point, the service hiccup and the fact that I don't routinely find myself craving crêpes, this feels more like a fun once-and-done experience for me. But I'm glad I experienced it. And if those mini dessert crêpe flights ever become a thing? CALL ME! read more

I had lunch at Chef de Crêpe and WOW. I genuinely cannot believe how many times I've driven past this place without stopping. I'm so glad I finally did! The moment you walk in, it honestly feels like you've stepped into a little café in Paris. The décor is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with elegant touches everywhere that make the space feel cozy but elevated at the same time. The staff was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The seating is mostly table seating (no booths), with a few smaller tables set along a hallway-style walkway that opens up into a larger dining area. The way the space is laid out feels intentional and well designed even though the restaurant was getting a lot of attention while I was there, it never felt crowded or overwhelming. Everything flowed nicely. It's colder right now, so their front deck seating wasn't open, but you can tell that when the weather warms up there's additional seating available outside on the deck, which would be such a nice spot to sit. The bathrooms are conveniently located right up front, which makes them easy to find. Parking is also pretty simple, there's parking available in the back of the building, and if those spots are full you can usually find street parking nearby. Here's what I ordered: Pistachio Rose Affogato * Pistachio Italian espresso * Vanilla ice cream * Crushed pistachio * Edible rose petals * Wafer East Coast Croissant * Cheddar cheese * Bacon * Spinach * Scrambled eggs * House-made garlic aioli * Served with breakfast potatoes My drink didn't just look beautiful , it tasted incredible too. The pistachio espresso paired with the vanilla ice cream was already amazing, but the crushed pistachios and edible rose petals really took it to another level. It was sweet, rich, and full of flavor. The East Coast Croissant surprised me in the best way. I'm usually not a big spinach-on-sandwich person, but I wanted to try it exactly as it's served to get the full experience. I'm glad I did because it completely changed my mind! Everything worked together perfectly, and the garlic aioli added so much flavor. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back. Next on my list to try is their Tiramisu French Toast and the Strawberry Matcha. read more

A great local restaurant! We came for breakfast and decided to share a savory and a sweet crepe! Don't forget to get the breakfast potatoes! They were cooked and seasoned perfectly! We also shared the triple delight, which was filled with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella! We love sitting outside and enjoying our meal! Definitely recommend the pistachio London fog if you are a fan of Earl gray tea. Definitely is a large portion. The savory crepes were delicious, especially the Mexican breakfast one. Would recommend reservations for your visit! P read more

Charming atmosphere overall, and food has always met our expectations. We had afternoon tea which was very fun. The owner was very sweet and welcoming and service was exceptional. My only complaint is that it was very warm in the restaurant, which made it hard to want to drink hot tea. We will be back and hopefully the temperature will be a bit better! read more

Hubs and I spent a day exploring Mechanicsburg and wandered into Chef de Crepe toward the end of their day. We had such a lovely experience- with amazing dessert crepes and some macarons. It was so nice to be greeted and have a nice conversation with the proprietor. I am always happy to give business to another Disney fan- especially someone who notices and appreciates the more obscure references. The crepes were made to order and super delicious and did not skimp on the fresh fruit. We were able to dine in, in their adorable, French café styled dining room. I'd like to see a little more variety in the menu, but in the era of covid, it isn't expected, especially when what they're currently doing works so well. read more

I'm not a crepe person . I would drive by place's like this without a second glance. Today my daughter wanted to go here for coffee. Inside this place was very busy. It was clean and impressive looking. The menu itself I was not expecting much. I was definitely wrong. I found several things that I would order. My daughter loves coffee and easily found a combination that suited her. She was really impressed by the flavor of her Chai.service was excellent . They did a great job staying on top of things. Food quantity was very good. Overall this visit i was impressed. I would bring my daughter back here again. I recommend this place for what it offers. Their current menu on line does not do this place justice. This was opening weekend for their new location. read more

I came here back when they first moved to camp hill and it definitely has improved. I love their new stuffed croissants they have every Saturday. The cafe is always so cute and cozy, as always. It always has a real Parisian vibe to it. I'm taking away one star because I feel that the service could be a bit better. It always feels very rushed every time I come here, and I understand that they are always busy especially on the weekends but I feel like making your customers feel that they can sit there for as long as they want would make them into regulars. I've had the same waitress twice and she seems to rush us each time we have been here. read more
